Have Japanese STUDIOS posted their own content on You Tube, subbed, for free, before?? Cause if not, this shows just how much Trigger really wants to get the word out about young talent, and about animation made in one's own country!
Well, I know Black★Rock Shooter was streamed on Nico Nico Douga, which is basically Japanese You Tube. With English subtitles, even!

Gotta say, though, the symbol of the seven stars on the staff triggered some interesting associations for me.
What's precedent ever done for us?Anyone think of this as a Magical Girl show? Not a Magical Girl Warrior but rather the classic Cute Witch type of Magical Girl like Sally The Witch. The major difference is this isn't about a witch from a Magical Land who comes to our world.
Doesn't that make it less Magical Girl then, considering that Bewitched is kinda important for the whole Cute Witch thing?
okay, what the hell did I just say there?
Also, I don't really see this working out as a series, since Harry Potter without Voldemort is just far less exciting.

whateverIt could focus on the magic of friendship and also actual magic. Monster of the Week would be used as well.
...And Harry Potter doesn't have legs like Akko's.

If things continue like this, this is really going to become a series, isn't it?
