Ha, Alison's great. There's something about the way Tatiana plays her that makes her so goddamn endearing.
I still wonder how her storyline will end up connecting to the Project Castor storyline in the season, though. Seriously, Cosima's trying to decipher Ethan Duncan's synthetic sequences so that she and the rest of the clones can get better, Sarah and Helena are directly engaging with the military and the Castor clones, Delphine's the new Rachel while Rachel has brain damage.....I mean, how the heck is Alison's storyline going to tie back into the larger plot about clones?

Yeah, that'll be interesting- but she carries her own story very well- I suspect that it will be more to do with running into trouble with other characters from the supporting cast, perhaps an encounter with a Castor or two.
I'm almost kind of sad that we had so little Alison and Rachel interaction before the Pencil Incident- missed opportunity there. Seeing Helena interact with the Hendrix family would be hilarious, too.
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231I actually really loved this episode for a variety of reasons— the really great scenes in this episode involved Sarah's dream/hallucination about Beth and Felix and Scott's scenes with Rachel, which was absolutely phenomenal. Rachel is really...pushing all my sympathy buttons this season.
Like, yeah, she was a self-aware, evil clone in Season 2, but being locked up and tortured when you have brain damage/aphasia has got to suck, honestly.
I want Rachel to get redeemed.....
Of course. It was a fantastic episode. Every episode this season has been.
But, like, the way everyone was hyping it up, I expected, I dunno, a sort of Red Wedding thing. (I haven't seen GOT, so maybe this analogy doesn't work, but) like, every episode is consistently good, but man, this episode? This episode knocked it outta the park.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I never thought Break the Haughty could be that cruel indeed. If someone had told me that I would have such pity for Rachel - and that I would consider phine and especially Felix as line-crossers - during season 2, I don't think I would have believed them. Taking the GOT analogy on, this is akin to what Theon is going through, except here she is not being tortured by a twisted psycho, she is simply abused by characters I thought were sympathetic, without being able to retaliate at all.
And yeah, Kudos to Mr. Bruce, great job during this episode. I guess that during his missions, he did not forget to watch Leon.

I really, really do wonder what might have happened if Felix had decided to listen to Rachel, bust her outta there and take her home to meet S. Given that Rachel knows something useful to Cosima, I guess it's possible that she could end up staying with one or more of the other characters. Though, Rachel living with Alison would probably be the most entertaining option...
No mention of another major character death? RIP Helena's lil scorpion buddy. You were a loyal and faithful sandwich.
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231I didn't completely believe you so I googled it. That's amazing. I think between being waterboarded and having actual scorpions crawling over her, Tatiana must be one of the bravest actresses out there...
Also found out that she did not only the scorpion's voice, but the little clicky noises it makes too... jeez.

I love how she just goes for anything -"Mhm, yes, I'd like to be an actress, never mind everything else that's going on"- "Ooh, local politics- totally up for that!" "Drug kingpin- well, somebody's got to do it, right?"
And that moment where she meets her old schoolfriend and starts gossiping! She could easily carry her own show, even without the clone stuff.
