The rattling of chains could be heard, becoming even more and more louder, until the source of the noise revealed himself.
A being carrying a glowing green lantern,a scythe that seems rather rusted and with some blood covered, which what seemed to be his head glowed a fire-ish green, which back on Valoran he would be recognized as Thresh, the Chain warden.
As he looked around the place,a twisted grin forming upon his face as he sat on one of the chairs near Omar.possibly grinning for the misery and pain that will happen upon the invasion of chaos.
A chuckle came from the darkness. "My, my. Do you have to be so rude? After all, we are all working for the same purpose."
From the darkness, two forms emerged. One of them was of a caucasian girl, with messy, damp, black hair, which covered part of her face. She was on a wheelchair, wearing a straight jacket that was covering almost her entire body, from neck to toe. Her eyes were staring at the ground, a grin plastered on her face as her heavy breathing turned into another chuckle.
Wheeling in the girl was an even bigger figure. It looked humanoid, but it also looked very very alien due to the fact that it basically was a big man wearing an armor which gave him some of the physical characteristics of the world's least fascinating insect, the beetle. He looked extremely displeased with the situation, as could be evidenced by the fact he left the girl next to Omar and immediately let go, grunting. "That is as far as I'll carry you, meat. I did not join this group to be your little butler." Black Beetle said, his deep voice echoing through the cave.
"Of course not." Azula replied, still smiling. "Butlers actually do a good job."
Black Beetle gritted his teeth as his hand changed, turning into some sort of energy weapon. He quickly pointed it at Azula's face, and she simply replied by slightly turning to face him, her golden eyes displaying the same degree of insanity. "Oh, please." She said. "You'd be doing my a favor."
The alien furrowed his brow, lowering his weapon and turning it back. "A waste of energy and time."
Azula chuckled once more, looking down and leaning forward. "So... when will the others arrive?"
As Thresh turned to his back on the source of the voices,he looked at the two people for a moment, strangely, the girl with the straight-jacket and wheelchair reminded him of one of the female patients that he broke her mind back before he died....
"Patience,Young living, the other ones will come soon enough".
The chain warden responded to azula, looking around the cave for the new arrivals coming.

Inside the top floor of a motel, a young blonde man sat on his bed looking at all of the notes he had written in the library earlier in the day. He rubbed his eyes, trying his best to stay awake and focus on the task at hand. He sighed a frustrated sigh and put his notes under the bed, laid down and drifted off to sleep. Then, the sudden burst of lightning woke him back up.
"Gah!" Edward shouted as he shot up from the bed. He looked out at the window and jumped when he saw the lightning. Then afterward he saw the beam of light glow. He shook his head and looked for his clothes.
"Dammit, isn't it too late for this type of thing...?" Edward muttered as he grabbed his clothes and hastily put them on. He walked out of his room and headed outside to see what's up.
Meanwhile, inside of the Cave, a young Asian woman with hair coming from the side sat around bored out of her mind. She looked around and tapped her feet at the ground getting more impatient by the minute. She sighed a sigh of boredom and looked out.
"When is this thing happening? I'd rather not spend my time in this dank, wet cave..." Juri muttered to whomever was within earshot.

Dayton City, California
11:00 PM
He closed his eyes and let the nighttime air hit him in the face, blowing across his face and putting him into a rested state of mind. It was relaxing to be able to just sit in the porch of his home here and let the wind hit him. Free as a bird, no cares or worries besides the upcoming battle to determine the fate of an entire planet.
It was funny how it all happened, really. One day, he'd decided to join the CDC, working with the zombie virus. Life was good - slightly more advanced than it was in Dawson City, to be precise. He was looking forwards to working with the virus, to attempt to discover a cure - if it was possible.
Then the missiles had hit. The world had been destroyed. Most of humanity had been annihilated. The rest barely clung to life in a landscape that was foggy, filled with meteors, and swarming with billions, perhaps trillions, of the undead. There were unexplained gifts - the soft drinks that gave those who imbibed them superpowers, the Pack-A-Punch machine, capable of turning the lowliest handgun into a destructive force of nature, and the temporary magic gifts - ammo replenishments, temporary instant zombie killing, "Double Points" (whatever those were), all of it helping them despite their damned situation.
With nothing else to do, and with half of his friends dead, he threw himself into being an expert soldier. Like anyone else, he started with barely anything - and grew into a death machine. The Perk-A-Colas turned him superhuman, the Pack-A-Punch turned his weapons into projections of divine wrath, and his HAZMAT suit kept his lungs safe while its armor allowed him to survive most attacks.
And one day, someone had appeared. He was finishing up a cleaning operation - nobody had managed to gain any ground in the fighting, zombies appearing at the same rate they were killed. She had long, flowing golden hair and white silk robes on, and she talked to him. She told him of another Earth, that was about to be turned to despair by the forces of Chaos. About how he - and everyone else she was going to or already had recruited - was all that stood between a planet and total chaos.
He hadn't believed her until she had shown him. And she had requested his aid. Earth looked pure. It looked undestroyed. It looked clean.
In retrospect, it shouldn't have taken him long to decide what he was going to do. He decided that the CDC could do without him for a little bit. There was an Earth that could be saved - and he fully intended to save it.
He'd been training for the fight, despite his depositing in the city. He got a target dummy, practiced his close quarters fighting and using the Galvaknuckles. Fortunately, the Galvs were powered by commercial batteries - he got only the highest quality batteries for them. The taser fist it was, it was his only melee weapon - and if the taser part failed on him, all he had was a plastic brick.
He'd been practicing with his weapons, too. Cosmos had managed to give him a steady supply of ammunition, so he was able to practice using his firearms.
Unfortunately, in the process of coming here, he'd lost quite a few things. His two weapons were un-Pack-a-Punched, and he'd lost every perk besides Juggernog. He hoped he was going to be able to get them back at some point. For now, he knew what his guns were. His FN HAMR infantry autorifle, stocked with a 125 round drum magazine (he wasn't sure how that many bullets were in it, but he didn't question it), was reliable. The second was Nazi technology, but there was no doubting its effectiveness - the Ray Gun fired balls of energy that had half a metre of splash radius, and its cartridges were good for 20 shots. It was thoroughly lethal, and it was his backup.
He also had quite a few grenades and Quantum Entanglement Devices - the things had random effects, and he mostly kept them on him as a wildcard. They were more reliable than other things, and almost everyone else carried the Monkey Bombs anyway. He mostly practiced with those by throwing weighted balls - it was a lot safer than pitching a live grenade.
For now, he quietly rested on the porch. He'd managed to secure a steady job and it gave him a good cash flow, but for the time being he kept to himself. He was far too paranoid for his own good, but he tried to force it down.
A bright light. He opened his eyes. It was a beam of light. It was the signal. It was time.
He was in the house within a second and down into the basement. He took his rucksack and began to fill it with everything he'd need. Somehow the thing - he'd brought it along when he transited - had a large enough storage capacity to fit the machine-gun and everything he needed for it, plus everything else. Cosmos had helped increase the space a bit, but it was still a tight squeeze. Fortunately, he managed it.
A few minutes later and he was out for a walk on the town, his HUD specs giving him a live feed of everything he needed to know as he walked. He'd set them to "un-networked" in the meanwhile, so that they wouldn't get bogged down trying to connect to the CDC's battlenet.
He headed towards the beacon, feeling the weight of his equipment on his back and having to bend it to be able to walk. A few people gave him glances, commented on how heavy the things were, but he shrugged it off and continued. He arrived at the beacon sight, seeing it there, bright, the signal for the fight.
He prepared himself to suit up quickly - his last practice had resulted in him doing it in three minutes, something he prided himself on. Time was most definitely of the essence - this was not practice. This was not a drill.
Johnathan Crosby steeled himself for what was about to come. A fight - no, the fight, the one that decided the future of humanity. He readied himself to save a world.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."A white wolf was prowling the outskirts of the town, watching and waiting. The animal had been in the area for a couple months, but it didn't seem to be doing any harm, so the people had mostly left it alone.
"Hey, Ammy!" A voice yelled into the wolf's ear. "The light's finally turned on!"
The wolf turned toward the glowing building and, after looking round to make sure no one was watching, raced her way to the glowing building, a path of plant life a little brighter than all the rest following in its footsteps.
Maxi walked through the streets of Dayton on a midnight walk, fueled by a strange restlessness that he couldn't seem to get rid of.
He had come to Dayton City on vacation, in hopes that the seemingly timeless city might invigorate him. So far, the city had been nothing but boring.
Suddenly, he found himself with a stubbed toe, and he looked down, seeing what looked like some kind action figure. It was a robed man, who's skin seemed to be decaying off his body, with various patches of bone showing and hair that only remained in clumps. Curious, Maxi picked up the figure, and continued walking.
Continued walking, until he found himself surrounded by an inky blackness, and stepped into the cave.
"...What the hell?"
Pierre sat on the guest room bed, looking at the figurine in his hands. It was a man, a really average looking man, holding a black staff covered in runes. Pierre wasn't sure why, but he found it fascinating.
He had found the figurine no more than a few minutes ago, when his hosts' dog -who was a master at the art of keeping people awake- had finally barked too many times for his sanity, and he left the house for a little peace. The little figure had just been laying on the front yard.
Finally, the dog quieted down a little, and a very thankful Pierre finally fell asleep.

Saber pulled the gloves on tighter, and straightened. Living alone was different than what she was used to. In life, she had lived in Camelot, surrounded by people. Her Knights of the Round Table, so many others had lived close to her. As a Servant, she lived with her Masters. However, in her mission to aid in the protection of this world, a task she felt she must undertake in order to protect the people, she had to forge an identity in order to avoid revealing just who she really was. Saber was not unused to obscuring her identity, but not even her class was impossible to reveal in this case. For the people of this world would recognize her even by that. No, instead, she had taken the name "Kay".
The wardrobe she had taken with her two this world featured several suits, and several dresses, as well as a collection of clothing given to her by her Master, Kohaku, in preparation for the trip. She had yet to dig into that particular section of her wardrobe. The suits suited her, and the dresses were similar(nearly identical, even) to the dresses she had worn during the Fifth Grail War. They suited her well enough. It was not that she disliked the offer of clothing that Kohaku had given her, but her Master's taste in outfits was somewhat odd. Saber felt they may not be suited to disguising onself as a regular member of society.
At the moment, she had tied her hair into a ponytail, and donned one of the suits she had been provided with. It fit her well, and wearing the suit it would not be impossible to mistake her for a quite girlish, pretty boy. She had even adopted a job based around this: Apparently, girls who could be mistaken for girlish, pretty boys in the right clothing were quite liked be some people. Saber had made this decision only because she felt it was important to make it appear as if she was a regular girl.
However, today, that ended. Today, Saber would not be attending this job. The suit was selected quickly.
Saber stepped out of the home she had lived in for the last two months. Storm-clouds curled in the sky, and lighting crackled between them. Today was the day that marked the arrival of the adversary she had her to defeat. Her choice of transport stood before her. It gleamed in the automatic light system of the garage. The motorcycle
◊ was much like a mechanical horse. Saber, certainly, was used to riding such a vehicle. Even if she were not, her Riding skill made her quite capable with anything that could be ridden.
The garage stood open, as Saber got astride her motorcycle.
Within a few moments, she was off. She didn't bother with a helmet: She certainly didn't need one. Saber tore down the road. It wouldn't be long before she met the others who had aligned themselves against this enemy. And, for the people of this world, and many others, they would destroy it.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Patience? Patience is for the weak!"
Commander Strax marched into the black cave, laser rifle on his hand and his helmet under the other arm. "Commander Strax, reporting for duty!" He said, grinning as he performed the classic Sontaran salute. "Ready to spread destruction and despair all over this wretched Earth!... how are you all doing in this fine day?"
"Tch." Another voice said, this one belonging to a young man who was wearing some particularly odd clothes and who had entered the room with Strax. "Seriously? Potato Head here is the best you could gather up?" Envy scoffed, sitting in one of the chairs and placing his arms behind his head. "Does he even have a brain?"
"Your insults are as hilarious as your choice of clothes, my dear girl!" Strax replied, pointing at Envy with a grin, while the homunculus simply furrowed his brow and clenched his teeth. "Plus, potatoes are quite healthy. Therefore, according to your insults, I am a nutritious bundle of death!"
"Guess that answers my question." Envy said, looking around. "And I'm a guy. At least on this form."
"It seems like you are the one who lacks a brain!" Strax replied, chuckling. "You are most definitely a female! Why, would a man walk around dressed like that?! Do not be ridiculous!"
"Great. A stupid potato..." Envy's eyes wandered over to Azula. "And an useless human mental patient. Do you really want your plan to work? For someone who spreads despair over the world, you sure have picked a lot of idiots..."
"Edward!"
A man came flying down from a rooftop, a spinning Sky Hook on his arm and a pistol on the other. Booker De Witt swiftly landed besides the blonde alchemist, holstering his Sky Hook as he shot a glance towards the light. "Well, looks like it's finally time." He said, holstering his pistol and pulling out his shotgun as fire began to surround his other hand. "If we hurry, we might get there before the others."
He glanced at Edward before turning to stare at him. "Are you alright? You look like you've just been thrown out of a tower. Or kicked out of bed."

"Why are you dashing in the air? She's on the ground." "Don't you know? Nurses like to do it in the air." Thus was Leduc and Ashley's match. Leduc was playing as Peacock in the game while Ashley was Valentine. Off in the background was Ryan ready to test out the prototype glove he made from studying Leduc's bizarre limb-based electricity generators. Thinking back he met Leduc some days after arriving in this city. Ryan had taken up a job in repairing things to earn money, and Leduc had been wondering around since everyone he encountered thought he was a really good cosplay fan of Skullgirls. Though now wasn't the time for flashbacks, now was the time for science! Putting on the glove and successfully generating sparks of electricity it quickly became uncontrollable before causing the entire complex's power to go out. Lightly crackling with electricity once it stopped Ryan took it off thinking "Well, I'll need to fix that later."
The game being interrupted by the blackout Leduc turned towards Ryan. Why did he agree to stay with Ryan again? -In addition to that you wouldn't have to do anything and rent's not your problem! No, that wasn't it... Oh well, there was time to worry about it later. His attention was caught by the sudden beacon of light outside the window, and felt like it was tugging at him. Ryan turning around to look as well he put on his rocket boots as he called "Ashley, stay here please! I don't want anyone robbing us, and Mr. Jason would be mad if his repaired iPad was stolen. Strange person." Taking the order in stride as Leduc and Ryan left she quietly replied "Very well."
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Vergil — The Cavern
T He power to protect what is precious.
The power to defeat all who stand in the way.
This is what the Son of Sparda searched for. No matter what he had to sacrifice, he wouldn't be powerless again. No matter how much blood he must shed, no matter how many hated him, he would obtain that power. That is what brought him to this dark, dank and cold cavern. "So this is it?" Vergil said as he walked down a slope, coming into view of his new comrades. "Disappointing." his eyes narrowed slightly as he looked toward Asian woman known as Juri-han and then looked to Envy. "Terribly disappointing."
Marisa Kirisame — Dayton City
Two months away from her home in the Forest of Magic. Two months away from bugging Alice and Reimu. Probably two months worth of incidents she missed out on.
She drifted from place to place while within the confines of the city. Getting around wasn't difficult at all. She could fly, after all, even without her broom but... still, a sense of longing had formed. When will she get home? When the fight is over.
Eh, when does a magician have regrets?
She frowned.
I guess sometimes. We ARE still people. she shrugged to herself as she flew on top of her broom. Just stop thinking to hard about it, ze.
The broom angled downward and descended slowly to the ground and soon it ran parallel with the street below. There were people driving by that just stared at the strange occurrence. A girl riding a broom, keeping up with a motorcycle on the highway? Who would have thought it.
"Hey there, Seibah." she toyed with the Servant's true name just for her own pleasure. "Where are you headed to today?" Marisa spoke up so Saber didn't have trouble hearing. "Huh?"
Edward paused and looked behind him to see Booker De Witt flying beside him. He seen him made a clear landing that he had to admit was pretty damn impressive and heard him say it was finally time. He nodded and started to walk there before Booker made a comment about his appearance. He just sighed and closed his eyes.
"'m alright. Was just going to sleep when this happened..." he muttered as he facepalmed. "Sorry if I don't dress the part. Now, may we go and get this over with?" he said as he motioned towards the light.
Juri took mild offense at Envy calling her an idiot, and shot a quick glare back to Vergil, but shrugged it off and sat there quietly. Wow, why were they waiting so long? she thought to herself.

At the local YMCA, a slim youth with a healthy tan and golden locks was playing soccer with the kids. The young man could have passed for a surfer with his attitude and appearance, though there was a mysterious depth to his eyes that no regular wave chaser could ever have. Expertly dribbling the ball before bouncing it up, Vaan performed a perfect bicycle kick- essentially a backflip whose power launched the black and white orb into the net at a speed the goalie couldn't keep up. "You still gots a way to go." Chuckling as he was mobbed by light natured complaints from his charges, the sky pirate was buried by elementary schoolers who attempted to revenge their loss by piling up on cheap "Basch".
The boy knew that he had to answer the call once more when he was contacted months ago by "Cosmos". Something within his chest had told him to do so, somehow nostalgic despite him never having heard of such a name... or had he? Regardless, Vaan was transported from Ivalice to a planet known as Earth, where he had been waiting. He had found a great many things that were nothing short of miraculous here, such as television and the overabundance of food.
Having been a person who cared about children (after all, he was the older brother figure for an entire city of war orphans), the flighty Vaan had chosen to take on a job hosted by the local youth group. With a pinch of Magick and his natural charisma, the rogue managed to land a job at one of the local schools within record breaking time. It didn't take long for him to become popular with both staff and students, especially the female population. And so the days became weeks and those became months until... The giant pillar of light burst forth towards the heavens. Looking at the phenomenon under the weight of many schoolboys, Vaan knew that the time had come at last. Smiling ruefully and shaking off the piggybackers, the Ivalice native began galloping towards the beacon.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Thresh couldn't help but laugh at envy and strax fighting each other with insults,oh humans...so easy to fight against each other...
He then kept quiet, waiting for the instructions of Chaos, though he turned around when Vergil arrived and called Juri and envy disappointing, before returning to face Chaos.
Saber heard the voice at her side, but did not to turn to look at the source. She recognized the voice, but she had to keep her eyes on the road ahead.
"Today, the enemy we are here to defeat arrives," Saber replied, without taking her eyes off of the road. Marisa was a magician, and Saber felt she was truly something of a mischief-maker. She was also an ally, and Saber would do nothing less than treat her politely. "I suspect our allies are on their way as well."
Saber also understood that Marisa was something of a thief. And a liar. While these were traits that Saber... didn't exactly like, at the same time Marisa did not seem to be a bad person, and indeed they were allies. "I am attempting to arrive as quickly as I am able."
The motorcycle roared down the road, past cars around it. Saber was quite comfortable on it, and it was quite fast. She was certain she would have no problem with getting to her destination quickly. Privately, Saber wondered just how long they would have before the enemy arrived. Regardless, Saber would fight to destroy her enemy entirely. To engulf the world in despair... she would not allow such a goal to come to fruition.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Walking down the street was a seventeen year old man with black hair and nearly pure black eyes when the strange events began happening. Hugging his bag closer to his body, he just came from the local shop having purchased some games. "I hope it won't rain, though this does look... Unreal." Distracted by his thoughts he nearly tripped over something. Regaining his balance he looked back to see a horrible mockery of a figurine. It had at least four different patterns for the human portions, and then an unholy lizard... Thing like it was badly melded with the others. Slowly stepping forward to pick it up he looked over it curiously. There didn't seem to be any damage, dirt or trash on it. Fiddling with it as he continued home he discovered by accident that he could flip the... Legs up to make a key-like object. It starting to glow he didn't have time to react as the light engulfed him.
The light disappearing he found himself in a white void room. Nothing as far as he could see, a distorted mutated voice echoed throughout the room. Feeling as if invisible eyes were watching him the voice spoke "State your name, bearer of the key." Trying to pinpoint a direction the voice came from he spoke "Kurt Warren, and this key is...?" Booming it spoke "This is the vessel of otherworldly powers, and this one was created by Chaos. Now, let us begin." Materializing before him was a small scale copy of him and a lizard... thing. Both were engulfed by fire materializing from nowhere, and soon they both walked out of the flames. The lizard was completely engulfed in fire while his copy had blazing fists. "This is the power of Adaptive Offense. You will possess a vastly weaker version. While you may survive new things, you still cannot go beyond your natural limits. In addition, to each adaption it will be short lived."
The lizard disappearing, Kurt's copy is reset as inFamous Cole appeared next to it. While Cole could indefinitely shoot lightning Kurt's copy started getting exhausted and sluggish from repeatedly shooting lighting. "This is the power of Bioelectrical Streams. It drains away at your natural electricity, and it'll slowly regenerate. Once its all gone you will die." This repeating three more times, Kurt was informed of Fear-Based Super Strength, self-localized Bloodbending and Dark Volley. After whatever it was shown him, it spoke "Kurt Warren, will you fight for Cosmos and thus peace or Chaos and thus destruction?" Kurt stood in silence, and began thinking about it. He had long believed he'll never get powers and that no dimensional travelers would ever encounter him, lest of all ask him to join them so... He concluded this was one of his best dreams ever. Since he was aware of everything but apparently not in control he decided "I choose Chaos. Let all things end in chaos!" He then broke out into mad laughter, something he had been doing for years whenever he felt he had power. The voice itself felt unsure of the decision, and echoed as it started to fade "Very well Kurt Warren, you shall be sent to Chaos. One piece of advice, don't wildly attack anything." With that the room started collapsing into darkness, and Kurt found himself falling a few inches off the ground onto his back within the meeting area of those chosen by Chaos.
Ryan had been flying towards the beacon while Leduc followed behind him scaling buildings and running along walls on the way. Ryan had been processing an idea on how Leduc manages to cling to solid objects, and suddenly (presumably) figured it out. "Of course! He must manipulate the electrical attraction of atoms so he can cling to walls! But how then?" As he tried to figure it out he noticed other figures below approaching the beacon as well. Several of the figures looked vaguely familiar, but he decided he'll save talking for away.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass.""So this is the place..." Gondar mumbled as he stood in front of the cave. He had wished for some place more... homey, but alas, it was not to be. He had opted to arrive in this world sooner than the others, mainly to scout out the environment in which his hunt will take part in. A jungle would had suited him more, but a concrete one would have to suffice.
Gondar took a moment to take stock of the equipment he had brought along. "Shurikens... check, Smoke Bombs... check, Short sword, Check, Longsword, check, Tracking powder... check." Satisfied with his equipment,The bounty hunter walked casually into the cave, whistling a cheerful tune. After all, once he was done with this job, he would be swimming in gold coins for the rest of his life. He came to a stop as he noticed the others, appraising them carefully, before inclining his body in a gesture of greeting.
"Good evening fellow friends, Gondar the bounty hunter, at your service." Gondar grinned under his mask "Between you and me, this venture will make us quite rich indeed." His allies were another strange bunch, but as long as they can at least slow down his marks, it would be fine by him.

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please. - Mark TwainFriday:November:Just before signal activation
The room was small but it was enough to fit them both; plus a TV and a double bed. Yuka sat infront of the TV watching a kid's cartoon that was surprisingly girlish for a guy to be watching. Icarus lounged on the bed with her head buried in a book. both of them were quite at ease this evening and there was nothing really to disturb the peace apart from the occaisional snigger from Yuka.
Living with yourself isn't always so bad .
Yuka and Icarus were infact the same person, same in spirit but not in body- they used to be a single person called yuka Usami until the activation of her powers caused by a powerful artifact caused her to split in two. It also gave her a range of rather handy powers but that is beside the point.
Several months ago the duo who now called themselves brother and sister were contacted by a deity hoping for their cooperation in saving the world, of course they consented. Now they found themselves renting out a small room in a rather strange town that was overshadowed by a giant spiral thingy. It would have been alright had the two started to develope in a way that made their personality fit their gender.
But tonight was peaceful.....mostly.
"Yuka?"
"Icarus, if you haven't realised, the show isn't over yet, I'm not doing the dishes".
"Yuka, we need to get going- the signal is up"
"...."
Yuka stood up, switched off the TV and smiled.
"Should've told me sooner Icarus, guess ambiguiety is part of being a girl huh?"
"You are a girl, Yuka"
Yuka shrugged and opened the door. The air before them began to shimmer.
"Lets get going".
"Oh my, I do hope we don't succumb to in-fighting any time soon!" Yuuka Kazami commented with an air of amusement as she entered the cave, closing her pink umbrella. The green-haired woman offered a bright smile to everyone present. "After all, while I'm sure we'd all love nothing more than to give back-stabbing and one-upsmanship a try, I do recommend taking our alliance seriously, at least for now~"
As a long-lived youkai, Yuuka had experienced a lot in her time. Creatures she had deemed powerless had displayed incredible might, beings that were all but invincible had been felled... granted, while she really couldn't care less if this group dissolved within the hour, as a team member, it felt only decent to at least warn them of the dangers of a superiority complex.
Deciding to stand next to the human in the wheelchair, Yuuka gave her a polite smile before standing motionlessly, awaiting the one who had called them. Or entertainment, whichever came first.
Getting off the ground Kurt was amazed his body didn't seem or feel broken. Looking around he notices several figures he remembers from all sorts of media. Everyone else in the room seemed to be villains, and spoke grinning "Well, this is certainly interesting. Is this where everyone's supposed to gather to cause the end of the world or some such?"
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass.""This feeble boy is correct!" Strax yelled, but at this point it was clear that he only knew how to yell, pointing at Yuuka. "Backstabbing is the weapon of cowards and traitors! Now is not the time for us to be doing so, especially in the face of such a great mission!" He turned to Yuuka, furrowing his brow. "Good work, you pathetic piece of meat!... how are you doing today? You look lovely."
Envy noticed Vergil's disappointment, and replied with another glare, his eyes also narrowing. "Screw you too." He said, standing up and gently pushing the chair away. "This got boring really fast. Well then. I suppose I should start the introductions. As much as they bore me to death... they're necessary." He pointed at himself. "My name's Envy. I'm a homunculus. And I'm a shapeshifter. There, did my part. Next one?"
Edward's eye twitched as he heard Booker. "I'm in no mood, Booker." he muttered as he began to search for a car to get there. "Now, where can we find one? There seems to be none here..."
"Shapeshifter? Well, I've had meet stranger people before..." Juri muttered as she shrugged. "Name's Juri. Member of S.I.N. Nice to meet you, I guess.." she introduced herself.

Booker picked up his Sky Hook, placing it on his hand. He ran forward and jumped towards one of the lampposts, the magnetised hook doing the rest of the job and attaching itself to the lamppost. He proceeded to do so until he managed to jump on top of a rooftop and disappear from Edward's sight.
There was a silence... the sound of a window breaking... the sound of alarms... and silence again. Until, finally, Edward saw a medium-sized car, not something you would be pride of, drive down the road and stop right next to him. "Get inside." Booker said, poking his head out of the broken window and anxiously looking at the road behind them. "I don't think the cops would understand if we told them that we're going to save the world."

Dayton City. Some people call it the Oasis for its placement in the middle of the Californian desert. Others call it The Town That Time Forgot for its old designs, its aged buildings, its... Elizabethan feel... Whatever the case, people are attracted to this strange and out of place town. People live there, perhaps to get some sort of happiness that they couldn’t achieve somewhere else.
However, it seems that for tonight, a different feeling is being achieved...
In a laboratory, somewhere within the city, was a scientist behind a computer, reading the energy signatures of a large drill like tower known only as the Spiral Tower.
“May! Check this out!” He told another scientist, who ran to look at the computer. “There’s a massive spike in the Despair AE! That’s never happened before!” The scientist said. Soon, they heard the thundering of clouds. “Shit... Storm’s getting worse...” He said. Soon, a man in a black suit walked down from the hall. The man was of African American descent. In his hand was a book, which he cracked open. The scientists turn to him.
“M... Mr. Garrett, sir! What are you doing?” She asked him. He then cleared his throat and read a verse from the book.
“The drums of war rumble, calling forth people to fight in the stead of Hope and Despair. The drums of War rumble, calling forth a battle to judge not man... But all life... everywhere...” He then closed the book and looked to the scientists dead in the eye. “Gentlemen, this storm is of no coincidence. The Judgement War has begun...”
Indeed, the thunder did sound like drums. One of the many thunderclouds passing overhead soon shrunk and came down into an alleyway, condensing into a single humanoid form, though it was nowhere near human. It had two large flames that split off to look like horns, purple and black armor adorning him, and an overall monsterish appearance
◊. He raised his hand in the air, and suddenly, the thunderclouds all thundered in unison, creating one loud “KRACKABOOM!”
He looked up to see tiny black specks fly above him, only to land into the city. He then held his hand up again, a thundercloud coming to him. Like it was a balloon, the monster twisted and contorted it until it looked like a little dog, setting it to the ground as it came to life. The cloudy texture broke apart, giving it skin, though only skin. The dog was a miniature Doberman. The monster petted it before looking to the sky.
“My fellow subjects... The time is now... for this world to succumb to despair... Let it be known that this shall be the first place for my conquest. Let it be known that everyone will suffer, and that I shall love it! ” He declared as he placed his hand to the ground. In an instant, the alley way soon became twisted and contorted, breaking apart until the whole area looked more like a giant cavern than an actual part of the street. It looked so detached from the city, that from a bird’s eye view, the cave looked like it was just hanging outside the city, attached like a leech.
“It’s time... Despair will await everyone in the finish line...” He said as the first of the people he recruited appeared: a strange red pirate-looking monster with equally red glowing eyes
◊.
Afar, on top of a rooftop of a nearby building, a woman with long golden hair in a silk white dress looked at the thunder clouds.
“... It’s time...” She muttered as behind her, a spell circle was glowing gold. Not just any spell circle... A Servant Summoning Circle. She raised up her hand. Soon, a beam of light shown from the circle, though this was not the magic used to summon the Servant. No, this was used to summon golden lights, not unlike the black specks. They too fluttered into the city. The light shown for a while, as if to signal for someone to come. She then turned to the Circle, where she began her incantation.
“Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg...”

Perry was running to his home, running away from the thunder and lightning.
“Crap! I’m late, late, late, laaaaaaaaate!” He said to himself as he ran as hard as he could across the street. Suddenly, he bumped into someone, both of them being knocked to the floor. Before Perry could have time to get up, he was pulled up by the man he bumped into... A man with short black hair, red eyes, a black tanktop, and a red scarf... Omar.
“Watch where you’re going, dumbass.” Omar glared into him. There was a slight smirk to him. Perry sweated a bit before he whimpered. “Tch... No. You’re not worth the trouble of hurting.” Omar said to him. This was a lie. Omar didn’t have any desire to hurt him. Rough him up a little, yeah, but not outright hurt him. Seeing the guy metaphorically piss his pants in fear was worth a chuckle. He’d enjoy more of it had it not been for someone interrupting his fun.
“Hey! What are you doing to Perry!?” A girl, looking older than Perry and Omar but seemingly the same age as Perry’s said, running to the two and putting an arm in front of Perry. Perry instantly recognized the woman with short blond hair and two mini-drill pigtails.
“Mami! Thank God you’re here!” He said, closing in on her and hiding away from Omar. Mami looked at Omar, giving him a glare that stated her thoughts straight: “Get Out!.”
“Alright, fine! I don’t need this. I’m gonna cruise out here. Later!” Omar said, flipping the two off as he walked off to the opposite side of the street. Mami then looked to Perry.
“Perry, how come you’re not home? It’s almost twelve!” Mami said as she wiped some of the dirt off Perry.
“I got caught up reading... The librarian had to take my book away in order for me to know the time...” Perry said, blushing.
“Your parents are going to worry about this... Should I walk you home?” Mami asked Perry. Perry nodded. Mami then offered him her hand, as Perry took it.
The two soon walked to Perry’s house...
Omar, meanwhile, was walking through the streets. Suddenly, his feet kicked... something. He looked down and picked up the item. It was a strange figure. It looked almost like a Power Ranger, but more sickly designed. A blood red set of armor, wolf ears, fangs on the visor. He flexed the arms up and down, the only joint the figure seemed to have, with the arms moving in sync. Just then, he heard a dog barking. He looked down at the tiny Doberman. It barked at him, then turned around and ran off. Omar always wanted to play Kick the Dog, and so he ran after the dog. However, by the time he stopped following the dog, he noticed he was in an inky blackness. He looked around, wondering where he was.
Soon, five torches lit up the entire cave. An entirely hollow cave save for a table with a miniature model of Dayton City in the middle. He turned to notice the pirate monster and the strange devil-like being. He unknowingly stepped into the cave. The pirate monster soon changed into a human being. His clothes looked foreign and he wore a black hat
◊. He was also twirling around a trumpet.
“Yo! Welcome! The name’s Ba-” He said, waving his hand to him.
“I would suggest you wait until the others show up... It’d save the repetition of having to introduce yourself...” The monster said to Basco.
“Hmph... Very well.” Basco said as he sat down on the ground. The monster then waved his hands and soon, chairs, enough for an student assembly, came up. Basco nodded to him and began to sit on one of the black chairs. Omar did the same.
“I thank you for coming, by the way... We need more people like you for what we’re about to do...” The monster said to Omar.
“Um... I don’t even know what we’re doing!” Omar said.
“Here’s the simple concept: We shall make this world... despair. ” He said. Omar soon cracked a smile of intrigue.
“So... Mami... Why are you up?” Perry asked Mami just as they reach the door.
“Well... A friend of mine called up... Said she needs me for something...” Mami said, looking up at the sky to see the pillar of light coming from the building glowing. “I’ll see you soon, okay?” Mami asked him. Perry nodded, gave Mami a quick hug, and then headed to the door, only to notice on the rug a small green figure. He picked it up... The figure was green with golden colors on it. He put the figure in his pocket and headed inside. Mami then left, heading to the building.

Though if you have something else in mind, feel free to do that. And... Yeah. Hopefully this explains some stuff, and if not, feel free to tell me what to fix}
