Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules
(in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific ban/suspension cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

Make that two. Thanks for all your work helping out with disentangling work name collisions and so on.
Surprised I have three, then again I've made it professional-looking from the get-go.

''There's no magic in tuning; yet, it's something that tends to escape from any logic."Is it just me, or is Anthropomorphic Typography suddenly getting a lot of videos?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI feel like sometimes a trope can be "downplayed" so much that it's not actually that trope.
I'm reading a fic that uses "nakama" quite a bit and it always reminds me of the time when Nakama was going to renamed into True Companions and a sizeable amount of people really didn't want that.

"T'u gadapmagazin imhat pimushikimp'alha. K'animhat t'u k'ak'ujvn kimkap'akilteĭmvmpüca."![]()
I wasn't in those arguments, but I remember there was significant backlash to "Nakama" being renamed as if the Japanese had a monopoly on found familial bonds or something.
Whilst the backlash to that is somewhat silly (I'm laughing at the idea of seeing "Nakama" on a page about Arthurian legends), I think it is an expression of the frustration a consistent part of the base has with the English policy.
''There's no magic in tuning; yet, it's something that tends to escape from any logic."Drafting a trope during my vacation because I'm tired and bored and have no life, wheee
(won't be posted quite yet but it's only now of all times that I suddenly had the motivation, lol)
