Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules
(in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific ban/suspension cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

As for Haruhi, this actually inspired me to add some games to Summary.Video Games.
To-do list items as of 29.01.2023: 231 (-3 since last check)
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Wait, is this JavaScript thing something that happens in Chrome, but not Firefox? That would explain why I haven't seen any problems; I'm a longtime Firefox user (Chrome didn't exist when I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox, since Chrome 1.0 came out about four years after Firefox 1.0, and I've continued to use Firefox since then).

I got a rock for Halloween.Still feels odd seeing Twisted Tropes on the right bar and remembering it was almost a stub page until recently.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupVisiting UsefulNotes.Ecuador once has suddenly made the site very aggressive about showing me Ecuadorian campaign ads:

I got a rock for Halloween. The answer is exactly the same in both English and Spanish: No.

I got a rock for Halloween.
If you were responding to my post, I mostly wanted to joke about how the word "no" is the same in English and Spanish.

I got a rock for Halloween. Now that I’m feeling better thanks to a nice lunch, I thought of something funny. It’s a week later and I still like to laugh about the choice of page image for one of our newest tropes. XD For a trope with “beauty” in its name, they chose a rather ugly creature to illustrate it. What, did Lulu from Final Fantasy X want too much money?
I know it's rhetoric, but the actual answer is because nobody suggested her. You do know there people who haven't played it, right?

She was the best one I could think of. ^_^;;
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!![]()

She doesn't fit the trope. I don't recall her flirting or being implied to be sexually active at any point in the game. And in the sequel, she settles down and starts a family. (I rather like that of the three women in X, it's not the more conventionally feminine one who becomes a mother.)

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Speaking of South American countries, for months You Tube thought I lived in Colombia and it took me ages to notice. I eventually changed my region. Also, at one point Twitter thought I live in India.
Sometimes when I search a specific Twitter account in Google, it'll take me to a random-language version of Twitter rather than the standard English. I don't know why.
Wikipedia also pushes Spanish Wikipedia as the first result (understandable, since I live in a Spanish-speaking region), but I prefer using English Wikipedia due to it being more fleshed out. Often, it will even omit the latter due to redundancy, much to my annoyance.
And finally, I had to change my YouTube account's language to English because it would start dubbing videos to Spanish by default, and I'd have to change the audio track each time I opened it.
All this to say, I'm glad Google doesn't take me to the Spanish-language articles of this site. No offense to the translators, but the English-language section is obviously much more fleshed out.

I wouldn't mind if YouTube got my location mixed up.
Anywhere is cooler than where I am now.
I think it's also worth mentioning that Beauty Mark is no longer a trope because it was determined to be meaningless on its own.

I got a rock for Halloween.Ever think What An Idiot and Idiot Ball are only different in formatting, despite the former's TRS?

I don't think I ever considered troping myself, but I should probably add an "about myself" section.
About the site, JavaScript ocasionally stops working in mobile. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes it doesn't.
