Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules
(in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific ban/suspension cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

RE:email notifications— They have almost always worked for me. I am not sure why it hasn't been working for other people.
Macron's notes![]()
I think both are about the same concept in different ways - Most Writers Are Male, so male protagonists have more personality and agency while female characters have usually been sidelined or used to be appealing for the male audience. The former trope is about how male characters often have more personality and body types while women of the same age are all around the same beauty standards, while the latter is about how being a Token Female is seen as being special by default, as not being male in a man-centric work is going out of the norm enough to be considered a defining trait already. That's why I think the current image chosen at Crappy Image Pickin' might not be the best, but it still works well enough I think.
Fifth anniversary of the day I joined! (And a holiday in Poland, but that's less relevant here.)

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)My thoughts as well, I think it's an overly literal interpretation of the trope name.
The Tertiary Sexual Characteristics image could also illustrate Men Are Generic, Women Are Special, since the former tends to be a result of the latter.

To be clear, my anniversary is May 3rd, not today.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Looking at old pages to laugh at them. Here's what the most oldest version of the logo looked like:
Let's drop the suspension discussion. Kind of treading into popcorn territory with that.
I got a rock for Halloween.Rest in peace, Memes.Politics. You were a good source of humor while you lasted.
Actually, do we need a note that discussing EB as a thread is fine but mentining/alluding to specific cases would be popcorning?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupProbably wouldn't hurt.
Edit: And done. How does it look?

I got a rock for Halloween.I kinda read the old logo as "tv trojpes."
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. From all the examples I've seen of Catharsis Factor, reading the trope page itself sounds almost completely different from what I thought the trope was. I thought it meant "being satisfied at a bad guy getting their comeuppance", but instead I see a video game trope of what gets off steam/is satisfying for players. I'm confused.
When you're alone I'm reaching out to let you know that you're far from strangers, like the savior

Oh yeah, you're right.
Speaking of page images, if the one for that trope is anything to go by, it feels like Only One Female Mold is the opposite of Men Are Generic, Women Are Special.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
