Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules
(in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific ban/suspension cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

I can attest to that—I'm on the spectrum myself and that's happened to me before.
As someone Sarcasm-Blind over text, sometimes an indicator is very helpful.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSometimes I see posts from the "Mod Jabberings" subforum pop up in Recent Posts, but obviously since I'm not a mod I can't see them normally. Is this a glitch?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallYou know, for a website that is so anti-negativity and anti-complaining, TV Tropes does tend to attract these a lot.
Considering that there's like hundreds of thousands of Edit Reasons and that there's a constantly updating list containing the most recent ones that people watch over to find the rude/questionable ones, I wonder if people literally spend days just watching over that list.

CG for shortI've never seen the Bulletin with three listed items before.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYIt's happened recently I think with the Nice Hat bulletin being up.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI rely heavily on context cues to identify jokes, and also think I'm hilarious for expressing absurdity solemnly.
Sorry.

I took the bulletin regarding the deprecation of the LightNovel/ and Wiki/ namespaces down because it's from the 10th of last month, so it's quite a bit older than the other two, so people have already had a chance to read it, and unlike the Nice Hat bulletin, it was simply announcing the changes instead of asking for help implementing them. I would have asked Macron if it was OK to take down since she added it, but since she's taking a break, I can't do that at the moment.

I got a rock for Halloween.LN does need help moving stuff and Wiki thread needs pages discussed if they should be moved at all, but unless someone wasn't paying attention (or is on mobile), I think everyone got the point to not make new pages there.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupObservation: TRS has been having an incredibly productive month! Since the start of September (not counting insta-closed threads), we've closed 19 threads! (And if McLeaned closes, that'll be 20!)

Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallThree of the videos on Goomba Stomp (I don't know why the link is red) are from Origami King. I feel like there should be a rule against having multiple videos from the same work in order to prevent clutter.
Paper Mario: The Origami King has a lot of video examples. According to the Video Overdosed page, it has approximately 400+ videos on this site, the largest amount belonging to a non-Western Animation work.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYRE: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13646132210A95550100&page=426#comment-10648
Agreed. All of the videos in Magical Incantation all come from the same show, and there's an argument to be made that they might be closer to Magic Music than an incantation.
(Red linking might be happening because it's not a valid namespace)
At worst, it might make sense to limit it based on percentage of other videos, or the variety. If more than half of a trope examples are the same work, that might be considered excessive. Especially if they're all the same. If they're very varied examples, that might be enough to justify an exception.

Obviousness is relative.
