Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules
(in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific ban/suspension cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

Very into Lu's enthusiastic cut reason there. Curious what it was and what happened to it?
What I'm more interested in is why the forum for the TV show was hidden.
Guys how cool would it be if Super Megaforce had a green ranger...

If you're interested in learning more about it, the pages for it
are available on the Wayback Machine. I don't know why the pages were cut though.

Sometimes I want there to be a tool like an extension to the Related tab that also shows the examples listed for easier ZCE/Wickcheck/Move search. (I could probably make a script for it)

TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup~Septimus Heap has a method that lists all the wicks on the related tab with their contexts in a sandbox. It's been very helpful for TRS work that needs context vetting (vs. just removing the wick). I am not sure what goes into it however.
CowboyBebopAtHisComputer.Live Action Films haves an entry about Godzilla whose source is completely unpersoned (It comes from "one old book written by an author we won't say who it was") and it puzzles me.
Though you can can't get around it by inserting the escape markup into Keep Until Better Image Suggested, like "KU[==]BIS". We thought you could but nope. That's kinda funny.

Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.I know that adding images to character pages is a free action, but I can't help but feel like I need to talk about it in Image Pickin' first.
Guys how cool would it be if Super Megaforce had a green ranger...I just rediscovered the Pitch Generator, which randomly pairs works/creators/etc in an X Meets Y format. Has anyone actually tried to use this for ideas? One of the more amusing, yet surprisingly workable results I just got was Conan the Barbarian meets Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - the generator specifically gave me the television series of the latter but I thought more of the movie: So an incredible shrinking Barbarian Hero basically.
Edit: one that just amused me - "The Old Man and the Sea meets Surf Nazis Must Die".

I don't think YMMV pages even have the worst. When I looked at the Headscratchers for The Chzo Mythos, it was a mess where spoilers would not be consistent between a question and its answers. (I decided to remove all spoilers except for those relating to a side-story because otherwise most of the page would be blanked out.)
On ATT, someone is asking about the old days of the wiki. At the same time as a troper is being called out for bad indentation, chained sinkholes and a few other things. What I noticed is that while this troper's edits have problems, they are pretty minor compared to what was common practice ten years ago, when natter was against the rules but infested every page. So these sorts of mistakes getting notifications is a sign of how far editing practices have come in the wiki's history.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

TV Tropes The TV Show used to exist and even has its own hidden forum section
