Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules (in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

There are a lot of anime fans.
You need an adult.@ 0dd: That note was added years ago: 2007 or earlier. Back then, there was a lot less trope coverage of music, and hardly any bands had trope articles, but TMBG were one of them.
I think TMBG are slightly more popular with nerds in general than they are with music nerds.

I didn't write any of that.Every trope NEEDS an example from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Even if it's exclusive to a different medium.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOh, believe me, I know how little coverage of music this site had. We never even had an Albums Index until I made that page. And there's still plenty of pages for pretty influential/popular artists that don't exist yet (which I can't really create myself due to a lack of knowledge).
As well as Homestuck, MLP, and Avatar The Last Airbender.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. This place probably has the largest amount of regulars claiming some sort of ASD outside of specialty sites like Wrong Planet, and it makes a lot of sense why if you have even basic knowledge of how autism works.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. This site's community seems a bit more tightly-knit than other Internet communities I've seen...
Tons of folks list Brilliant, but Lazy as one of their tropes.
Reasonable MLP fans, contrary to popular belief, exist.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked. There is topics that probably wouldn't get nearly as much discussion, not nearly as enthusiastic, in other places.
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineWelcome to the internet.
Every entry also has to have a Doctor Who example. I will say, this site has gotten A LOT better about not being anime centered since I joined (summer 2009). Back them, it seemed like every page image was Haruhi Suzu-whatshername.
Aside from OTC, there's very, very little bashing on this site.
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.Right you are. :)
In addition, everybody is a Time Lord. ;)
Heaven is a tropical rainforest.so far at least (I've not been here long), the fora seem much friendlier and less prone to flame than many other forums i have been on, although my experience is largely of gaming forums particularly the official Bungie and Bioware forums
Homestuck avatars are everywhere.
- Any lock is a permalock.
- The phrase "To be fair..." can be found on most pages.

Along with pony avatars.
Related to the posts above about Brilliant, but Lazy and ASD—TV Tropes seems to attract a particular personality type. Outgoing extroverted types seem to be a rarity.
You need an adult. That might just have something to do with it, yeah.
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineBefore the site really cracked down on that, there used to be tons and tons of bashing.
Granted, there still is if you know where to look.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.the things i've noticed forum wise.
- less chance of being nagged by a long-term poster.
- that the brony fandom is basicly if you took the worst parts of the furry fandom and made a subset out of it.
- the people who dont like this place are just butthurt or arogant. eg:some ijbmers. most outsiders
oh last thing a calm actmosphere. the only place were i didn't get called a fur-fag in my introduction.

dronepeanut-dead dronepeanut2-zombie leval-bang-
There seems to be a place for every fan here. Some more than others, but hey, fellow Binding of Isaac players and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fans are always fun to chat with.
