"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Greetings everyone! I was lurking on the forums as usual, and was on the fence whether to finally create an account to join this RP, as it sounds pretty interesting and I finally decided to join in, hopefully I not too late, and my character is considered acceptable!
- Name: Real Name Unknown, Goes by Knight Leader or Grand Master
- Age: In his late twenties
- Gender: Male
- Appearance: A blonde haired man in his twenties dressed in a sharp brown suit
- Kind: Canon
- Side: Cosmos
- World of Origin: A Certain Magical Index
- Powers: As the captain and leader of the Knights of England, one of the three organizations in charge of Britain's magical affairs, The Knight Leader is naturally a very skilled fighter. Highly skilled in the art of combat, The Knight Leader is more or less at the peak of what the human body can achieve, but not beyond it, and is unable to perform superhuman physical feats.
- Hrunting ("The Fauce of the Dragon King"): Normally, Hrunting is an ordinary 80 cm Sword that has no special properties. Knight Leader had reanalyzed the laws behind the Norse Gungnir and Mjollnir, the Celtic Fragarach and Brionac, and other weapons, combined them, and then condensed them into Hrunting. The sword becomes tougher and sharper from the blood of slain enemies. But Knight Leader uses Telesma to act as a substitution for the blood so that the large amount could be compressed into it in order to give it a tremendous amount of destructive power. When his blade is fueled with Telesma, he is able to perform his pattern magic to enhance his sword, though only one precedence of them can be used at a time and only for a short moment. Furthermore, due to him unable to access the Curtana for replenishment of Telesma, The Knight Leader is only able to keep his sword active at 10 hours at the most, and must sparingly use his Pattern Magic else it depletes his reserve too rapidly.
- Attack Range: cutting attacks that can rush from all directions no matter where the enemy is.
- Slicing Power: can cut through anything.
- Weapon Weight: creates tremendous destructive force.
- Movement Speed: makes no one able to catch up to him.
- Enduring Solidity: makes the sword indestructible.
- Precise Accuracy: automatically has him move toward the vital points.
- Thorom's Defense Formula: Thorom's Defense Formula is defensive spell which regardless it's magical or scientific as long as the caster can identify it, then the offensive value of the attack can be "Set to zero". This affects the specific attack in question for around 3mins, after which, triggered explosives and similar attacks will be able to resume their effects, while one shot attacks are completely nullified. In the case of projectiles like bullet or arrows they would lose all momentum and becomes useless. Explosives would need other interferences to explode after the effect expires. The bunker cluster missile which was launched against him during the civil was pretty much just stopped all functions and fell out of the sky after been "Set to zero". This spell has a few limitations, such as:
- The Caster must have an understanding of how the attack works, otherwise the spell will not work.
- If the caster can't see the weapon then the spell will not work.
- If the attacker is royalty then they won't be affected.
- If multiple types of attacks are launched at once, the caster must be able to identify every attack; otherwise the spell will not work.
- This spell can only affect something that uses a weapon/medium, so anything that's purely magical/power related or even unmodified punches and kicks won't be affected by it.
- Personality: The Knight leader is a friendly and intelligent man, he attempts to be honorable in all of his dealings, and more often than not upholds that. He values his friendship with others highly, and would not hesitate to defend them, unless he was bound by duty to fight them, if that happens, he will place his duty first, and his friendship second. He is true to his ideals, but are sometimes something of an extremist, but fortunately, he is often willing empathize with others, to see things the way others see it.
- Bio: After the events of the English Civil war, The Knight Leader was contacted by Cosmos to assist her in the combat against Chaos. Wishing to redeem himself for all the wrong things he had done during the English Civil War, He gratefully accepted the opportunity to fight on the right side this time.

Hm... After some time to think about this, so long as he doesn't have connection to his Telesma source, at least until maybe endgame, his Hrunting ability set might be acceptable. His Defense Formula might need some nerfing though.
He's quarter-acceptable, though nerfs will help his chances of being accepted.
In the time between my last post and the edit, I figured out what was so iffy about the TDF.
It takes people out of the fight. The rendering the weapon to useless for three minutes just seems cheap and just takes people out of the fight unless they wanna go punching people in the face or try and pull a Lancelot and swing around a tree branch or some other improvised weapon.
I think that is the thing you need to limit if you want Knight Leader to be accepted. My suggestion is that you remove the "it make weapons useless for three minutes". You can negate them, but don't have the negation stick.
So, umm... Hey look, I'm practicing character-building, giving a clear Character Development role, and I'm using Magic instead of Science/Science Fiction/Non-Disclosed.
- Name: Dexter Smith
- Age: 24
- Gender: Male.
- Appearance: Short sandy blonde hair, a freckled face. Average build, not many muscles but not much body fat. Around 5ft 10in, kinda gangly around the limbs. Usually wearing a plain T-Shirt and Jeans.
- Kind: OC
- Powers: The Powers of a Skulduggery Pleasant elemental. No one in particular.
- Fire: The flashiest and therefore most used of the elements, at Dexter's novice level, all you get in throwing Fireballs. More advanced practitioners can fire bursts of fire, throw it around like a human flamethrower, coat themselves in it and do the human flamethrower thing, focus fireballs into cutting torches, and make walls of fire. However, stuff like this takes years of practice (Youngest main character mage besides the teenage protagonist? 80ish). Created usually by clicking your fingers, the friction of which creates the heat required for the Heat-Fuel-Oxygen triangle, the Fuel of it being magical energy.
- Air: The most powerful of the elements, and the second most used. Novices like Dexter get Force Push (that is literally the easiest way to describe it), ability to read disturbances in the air (has-anything-moved-through-here-recently sense) and propulsion (force pushing the ground to jump higher). More advanced (again, decades of practice) can net levitation of things and self (flight), manipulating air pressure to destroy things, Force Pull, crushing objects, whirlwinds, removing harmful gasses and particulates from around oneself and removing the air around someone else.
- Water: The only one that, unless you're a master of it, is useless outside of combat. Essentially, you can propel yourself through water using water currents. Advanced practitioners can manipulate the moisture in the air (useful for disabling electronics), walk on water, manipulate water and snow, stuff like that.
- Earth: The least used. Novices get the one and only use it has: Turning you into nigh-indestructible stone. However, you can't move. And you're unconscious. And you're stuck like that from anywhere between 15 seconds and 100 years. So basically, last ditch life preservation. The book's titular character has been able to manipulate the earth in other ways, but he's several hundred years old. And a Skeleton. Seriously, dude's old enough to have a crush on Grace Kelly.
- Other: There's also a spell that all mages can use. You need a special symbol, an incantation and a reflective surface. It pulls your reflection out of the reflective surface to act as a stand in for you. People who know you will think you're acting weird and the reflection is instantly recognizable to anybody magical as a fake, so it's only useful to impersonate you amongst the mortals. Also, just a note: Everything I didn't list under as a "Novice" power will not be getting used. Ever. Even if it does sound awesome, like Flight or Flamethrowerness.
- Side: His morals would make him side with Cosmos, but if Chaos gets ahold of him, he will work for them out of fear for his life. So, first come first serve.
- World of Origin: Dayton City's world.
- Personality: Dexter is a nice guy, but definitely insecure about himself. Can be sometimes snarky, but the one thing that shapes him is his relative lack of bravery. He doesn't want to die. Or get hurt, for that matter. So, naturally, his first reaction towards monsters, disasters, people who look significantly tougher than him, relationships, women, wild animals, large domesticated animals, insects, arachnids, weird fish, weird food, difficult tasks and anyone pointing a weapon in his general direction is to run away and hide. He is getting better though, at least five of those thing he can resist the urge to run away from, signified by the italics. Depending on how the RP goes, the rest will gradually dissipate over time, to the points that he'll come out much braver than he went in. Loves books, being alone and generally not dying.
- Bio: Dexter was born into a well to do family, with multiple brothers and sisters. After gaining a degree in Informations Systems, he now has the dreaded job: IT Call Center worker. It's a pretty infuriating, low-paying job. Although not born in Dayton City, his mother was, and he lives in his grandparent's old house. Unfortunately, only a year or so ago was he struck with the bad news that both his parents had been killed BASE Jumping of all things, and he inherited the house from them. He's pretty distant and resentful of his siblings, most of whom have gone on to live successful lives. He's the black sheep of the family in that respect, probably due to his reluctance to take risks.
You mean like Giga Bowser? Hm... Probably. Perhaps Chaos grabbed Bowser and gave him his energy to change to that form.
![]()
Hm... There's one power in the Air set that feels a little close to telekinesis. The Earth Power, though, has a good chunk of nerfs to be acceptable. The other powers are also acceptable. It's just the Force Pull that has me a bit worried.
Force Pull is under "Will not happen, too advanced a technique."
And Earth isn't nerfs. That's seriously how Earth magic works in this series. The magic in Skulduggery Pleasant is different. It and tech work perfectly fine with each other, and alongside Elementals and Necromancers, you find Bone-Breakers, Children of the Spider and Billy-Ray Sanguine (Who's power is unique. To say the least.)
I don't really mean that... EDIT: Okay, as in someone interpreting Bowser's body type to be muscle bound, or very chubby. Nothing like the original design of the character, but what a artist/writer would think the character would look like in their image/style.

Good to be back

well...
I'll put it simply if it solves anything.
The first power slows something down for 1 minute(half its normal speed lets say)
And the second one is a giant axe that is really really sharp, forget about the decomposing thing.
And the thing about the other universe. I knew it would be iffy but if so, I'm gonna hafta reprogramme Yuka's backstory. I'm not inclined to do that
The iffyness isn't removed. I may have to work something out. You said that there was around 2 months or something before tis all happens right? or can it be a longer period of time? Mitzukis need time to make.
