Seeing as how I can't recall that trait ever coming up after that one episode and maybe the following one....
Just finally watched Weiss' short! I was putting it off since wasn't much in the mood, but now that I've seen it, I don't regret it! That was a fun little entry.

Her interest in Penny's weapons after the doubles round.
Her saying meeting new weapons was like meeting people just better.
Right before the students were launched into the forest she referred to crescent rose as her sweetheart.
Considering they are now in another kingdom it is a possibility that her love of weapons will come up again.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyYeah, her awkarness and love to weapon is something that need to come again, they cant just let that slide.
which taking about that....im the only one bother by the lack of follow the penny revelation? I mean that is the kind of thing would be a huge blowback to any country or kindom, I feel weird how Jacques never refer to it or how the hell Ironwood manage to get any seat in Atlas in the first place.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Ya know, up until Penny got drawn and quartered by Pyrrha, she was a roaring success. They built a successful huntress who can mop the floor with street level goons, high tech equipment, and huntmen-in-training.
Hell, iron out the "I wanna go off on my own and make friends" problem, and you've got a formidable Atlesean autonomous weapons system.
*Beat*
We're getting mass produced Pennies, aren't we? And it's probably gonna go horribly, horribly wrong. Cause it almost always does.

With Ironwood's current hubris, this might just very well be a thing.
They will also be inexplicably weaker than the original, or perhaps explicably; Doctor Polendina would probably just put half an effort into something like this, or perhaps they would be made without his say.
Mass Produced Pennies: Powerful, reliable, or cheap. Pick two. We've seen the first two aspects in the Paladins, and the latter two in the Knights. And then they lost the reliable aspect for a while when they got hijacked.
Makes me wonder how they got Penny to produce Aura.
- Researcher: Sir, we've run out of little girls to aura transfer into Penny units.Lead Researcher: Eh, start using the Geists, then.Researcher: Is that wise, sir?Lead Researcher: Of course, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

you see this the thing: I dont thing THEY cant make penny again, or a least like they want to, Penny have aura which mean it have a soul....
maybe is me but I feel there is something fishy around here, I dont think Penny is just a cyborg with AI but there is something else around.....
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I'm not sure they'd need to discuss Penny given the nature of the situation they were dealing with — it would end up just being a throw-in. My head canon is that the Council authorised her creation (probably pushed for by Ironwood), which means Jacques would have known about Penny even before she was revealed to the world by Cinder.
I wouldn't mind betting that the SDC is financing the project, at least in part. After all, if Penny is powered by Dust technology, the SDC probably has military, engineering and R&D contracts. And Whitley, who says he's modelled himself on his father, thinks that huntsmen are obsolete and armies should do the fighting — if that's an opinion his father shares, that means Jacques and Ironwood have the same desire but for different reasons (Ironwood's attitude was about using robotic replacements to protect human lives).
One option we've got is that the Aura's original owner is alive, and was in stasis similar to Amber. Her Aura returns, with Penny's memories intact, and what we've got is 'Penny's a real girl now'.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I think she was in stasis because they said they couldn't afford to her let her die. The Soul/Aura transfer forced her to wake up since the transfer was directly affecting her on the most intimate level.
I view this as medical stasis, not time-capsule stasis. More like life-support than 'never ageing, never dying, just trapped in a moment of time by a machine'. But, hey, time is a thing in this show, so perhaps that's possible, too.

For a Pinocchio-esque character, the first that come to mind are Galatea and the creature.
Yeah, but RWBY already has a character based on a different Adam, so they couldn't use that name.
Though that does remind me of the obvious Adam and Eve...

Does anyone actually read these?
