The ladies of RWBY did an always open and alluded to breaking Ruby in the post show when they were all sloshed
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterI personally think that Ruby shouldn't be the one to intentional cause of Roman's death. I did go this one idea before, but she would have either been unintentional cause to his death or had accidentally put him in near death situation and he decides to rather let himself be killed than pander to Ruby's idealism.
Only sometimes postsOne of the problems with Ruby's character development is that she hasn't actually had to suffer any personal loss or face any personal crisis — all of it has been second hand, happening to people she cares about rather than her. It's not even just that she hasn't been tested yet, it's that they've actively avoided putting her in that sort of situation. The way Roman went out was a particularly blatant instance of this — rather than make her face the possibility of having to kill somebody (which would have forced her to examine her ideals and ask how far she's willing to go to uphold them), Roman conveniently self-disposes. The (lack of) conflict between her duty to her family and her duty to the rest of the world at the end of season three (when she decides to leave an obviously-suffering Yang behind to go to Haven instead) is another instance of this.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Which even that has nothing to do with her as a character. She didn't choose to do that, it just happened.
With Roman, I do feel it should have been an accidental kill because I can't see Ruby at that point intentionally killing him, but it would still be on her. Samurai Jack basically did what I'd like to with her there, it just happened in the heat of the moment and does deal with guilt afterwards. Then build on it.
Also, I think Word of God being needed about Ruby forcing her smile is weak because they don't portray it much. If that's what's going on internally, they need to externalize it and actually spotlight it more.
I think that's what bothers me, looking at her. I see hints of depth, but she's portrayed so flat.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.I feel like Volume 4 made it fairly obvious that Ruby's demeanor is at least somewhat forced.
And I don't see Ruby particularly caring about what happened to Cinder; the way she reacted when she thought Tyrian was working for her and how she cut off his tail does not indicate she'd be adverse to mutilating someone who has done the kinds of things that they have done.
The letter writing scene and everything regarding Qrow would be definite proof that she was not having an easy time staying positive throughout the entire journey. She was certainly not certain Qrow was going to survive the trip before it was pointed out that they were not far from civilization.
Not saying she is going to particularly care what she did to Cinder. Especially considering the tone she takes anytime she says Cinders name. I mean in the sense she is going to know what she is capable of and it might make her want to get a better understanding of Silver Eyes since she could end up injuring a comrade in an uncontrolled state potentially.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyI am just hoping Blake and Sun finally kiss next volume. Or at least, Ren and Nora.
Also, saying it right now: the headmaster of Shade Academy is an allusion to Dorothy Gale. So, I imagine it will have to do with silver shoes and the wind. She is also probably a faunus.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.I can only wish them good luck. As the second oldest, and oldest boy, of 12 children, I can safely say that taking care of babies is probably the most difficult thing on the planet.
EDIT: Saw the pic. HEART MELTING! DAAAWWW!!!!!

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.No adoptions? Not to pry, but your parents didn't have enough fun the first three times? Most parents I know are like, "screw it, I'm done," after the second, twelve is like o_o, Though I suppose a foster home is also an option, I have a neighbor that does that, I've seen like 4 generations of kids live at their place. They make me feel old. :(
Awwww. Wonder what they named it. Iris.

What can I say? We're Irish Catholics, and my mother has some Italian in her.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Well that's just a recipe for disaster right there.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Way ahead of you.
Shade's Academy head is Dorothy and will be a Dog Faunus
.
Edited to add: I'm all for combining our two theories and making the Relic of Destruction a pair of silver shoes. Remember... 'close your eyes and tap your heels together three times. And think to yourself, there's no place like home' ... and... boom!

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.

I think the problem is that Ruby bypass everything like it dosent affect her at all, Superman and Cap show conflited about what they do(sure, the stories at times bait them out but you get the point) while she is just smilling, the closer so far are her moment with Jaune who so far have coped with his lost waaaaaay better than Ruby.
in fact a this point I will said Jaune is more a protagonist than her.
