Or we’re just going to hear a newborn infant in the recording booth during all of Ruby’s and/or Sun’s lines
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterHuh, I wonder if the pregnancy will make her sound deeper. It might just be me, but I swear, I feel like Ruby's voice was even more childish in Volume Four. I sure would appreciate it if she'd go easy on the high-pitched voice thing.
There's a moment we make a decision Not to cower and crash to the ground The moment we face our worst demons Our courage foundCouldn't Micheal just watch the baby while Lindsey does her lines? VAs almost never record lines at the same time.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Lindsey also manages AH, so it’s not like voice acting is her only time sink.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." Twitteri would not be surprised if I see a picture on either of their twitters where baby Jones is behind a gate with the office dogs
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterRegarding the earlier question, yes, pregnancy can have an impact on a woman's vocal cords, lungs and nose (pregnancy hormones, increased blood supply, increased fluid retention in the body, changes to the pelvis and spine, etc.) that can change a woman's voice in the final trimester. Some women also lose the ability to sing in the final trimester.
That's the miracle of life for you.
Man, I thought it's gonna be some mind-numbingly boring tween fanfic. But nope, it was an actually pretty entertaining read, heh. I love me some Nightmare Fuel late at night! Thanks for the link, really. Hmm, I wonder if there are any halfway decent Seamonkeys fics...

There's a moment we make a decision Not to cower and crash to the ground The moment we face our worst demons Our courage foundIt's basically Gaslighting: The Fanfic.
From what I could gather, after graduating from Beacon, Ruby married Weiss. However, Weiss' family didn't approve of Ruby and Ruby suspected that Weiss didn't, either. Some years later (maybe 12, I can't remember), while on a mission with Blake (and maybe Weiss and Yang), Ruby and Zwei were overwhelmed by Grimm while Blake stood in the trees and watched. Ruby and Zwei probably died here but it's really hard to say. Zwei is probably dead while Ruby barely managed to survive and is probably in a coma. The "events" of the story are, in part, Ruby reliving the parts of her life she cherishes most, her early days in Beacon. However, there seems to be some sort of possession going on due to the occasional corruption in Ruby's memories and the events this entity "recalls" are noticeably different (it's worth noting that there may be more than one entity possessing Ruby but it's hard to tell). We'll call this possessing entity Death since that's what it calls itself at least once.
Death seems to be praying on Ruby's darker feelings to take over her body. I recall the "corruptions" happening whenever anger or Blake are mentioned but I'd have to read through again and take careful notes of everything to get a full story here. That being said, later on, when Death is in full control of the "memories", there are instances where Ruby is clearly fighting for control and calling out for help. There might be some significance to what lines the calls appear on but, again, I'd have to make careful note of them to be sure. The only thing I do know for sure is that Ruby feels like she was abandoned by her team, especially Blake. It's worth noting that during the chapter were Ruby wakes up from the coma, Blake is the only one absent. Zwei is also described as a pile of evil in that chapter so I'm not sure what to make of that. Maybe Zwei was possessed, too.
That's basically all I can say with any amount of certainty but even this much is just my interpretation of the events. There's a lot I can't account for like Weiss killing Ruby when they get home after she wakes up from the coma (although, if I'm recalling key lines correctly, she might have realized that Ruby was possessed and was no longer Ruby) and the story about Ruby and Zwei living alone due to her family dying and Grimm bursting into her house and killing Zwei then her (although that could be a metaphor for certain events but who knows) and probably some other things I'm forgetting.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Yeah, I thought that, too. However, I have no idea what that could mean so I didn't mention it. Is Torchwick the one possessing her? Did he kidnap her with the help of Emerald and Salem is the one possessing her? Is Emerald somehow rewriting Ruby's memories? Too many questions, not enough answers.
As for taking this to the fanfic thread, I would but that's the place where conversations go to die so I'd rather not. It's not like there's anything else to talk about right now unless you guys would rather talk about shipping.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Man, RWBY's soundtrack is so effin good. I listen to it almost every day and I'm not even getting tired of it. Hell, I'm starting to love it more and more. Bad Luck Charm's so damn good; I can't wait for the full version to come out! Armed and Ready is great, too. I'm really not sure which one I enjoy more, heh.
I love the soundtrack so much, I wrote some fan mail to Casey and Jeff Williams yesterday. I've never bothered to do anything like that before, but they definitely deserve all the praise and more! How the hell did I go from borderline hating to loving this show, despite all its faults? I was never part of any fandom and yet here I am, getting excited because Casey liked my tweets, lol.
By the way, Lusus Naturae kicks so much ass.
It's not as well known as other songs, but it's just as good. :3
I like lusus is that as villian song they singer seen to be enjoy really well.

For what I can get of that weird fanfic, everything sort of change in the last mission before they graduate, the implication are that Yang kill someone aparently, them she argue with Blake(which is what her hate come from?), also that part of Blake looking clearly is exaggerated it, I think she was hurt or probably kill during the fight(in fact the way she keep describing blake standing in the tree I though she was hanged there) apparently she was maim during the fight and that afect her sanity.
what is weird is that she dosent seen to blame Weiss in any way, shape of form even to the point Death seen to use her love to her into some weird and fetish lust for comsume her, I think Ruby have a grimm inside of her...it make as much sense as everything we have seen so far.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"

This conversation veered exactly where I hoped it would
.
Seriously though, good for her. I rarely pay attention to the people behind this show so that caught me a little off-guard.
...
...and bad for us. If she's pregnant Ruby's going to need a new voice actress by Volume 6. Unless she's really dedicated to the role and wants to come in anyway, but "newborn infant" tends to rank higher on the priority list. I mean she can still do it but if I had to guess RWBY would be on hold for a little while.
Unless we get another time skip after Volume 5 and they finally decide to go with an older voice for Ruby.
