EDIT: Nevermind, you edited it away. Also, Marvel's Thor stopped having the backstory you're likely referring to a long time ago.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, I'm positive that he did for a good while there. If he doesn't have it anymore, that's news to me.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Salem is secretly Shrek trying to get his swamp back. Illuminati confirmed.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Plenty of bad things happen to the Monkey King... that's sort of the point of his story: it's usually brought about by his own actions. He's a trouble-maker who eventually achieves buddhahood.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. She wishes. The instant Ruby sees her again silver eyed rage will just make Cinder burnt even worse.
And that's ignoring the fact that Cinder probably won't ever have that left of combat ability she had against Ozpin thanks to her scarring. She won't be bullseying people in the chest as easily with one eye.
Cinder will taste the power of goodness and justice.
Because eyeballs almost always do weird stuff in anime.
In Naruto they can form giant demonic avatars.
In Basilisk they can make people kill themselves.
In Jojo they can shoot pink laser beams and hypnotize people.
In RWBY they can make you lose your voice and burn you.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

I would be darkly amused if that's somehow the way each of those characters die.
Meanwhile Jaune... I mean what with the creepy way Tyrian looked at the waitress... you know what let's just not go there.
Ren's dad died fighting a giant snakehorse demon knight. It's limbs kind of stretch like a snake's body would. Maybe Nora dies protecting Ren from a similar creature, in sort of a tragic callback to how he protected her when they were kids. Which could set up Ren dying the same way Hua Mulan did but, well, some parallels should probably be avoided.
I think the most messed-up part of this is that out of everyone based off of myth characters, I think Sun would actually come out on top. Does anything bad ever happen to the Monkey King?
