I mean if it's my scenario there's every possibility that Oscar will end up escaping his fate by virtue of our heroes finding a way to Take a Third Option in regards to the Vicious Cycle Ozpin seems to be trapped in, and which presumably will result in both his and Salem's destruction, leaving the world of Remnant free to seek its own destiny or something along those lines.

Alright then, reasonably solid episode 11; WBY is set up for next season. Salem is disappointed in Cinder's progress in her training to use the fall maiden's powers, Tyrian returns to Salem, and freaks the fuck out after she tells him he has disappointed her and stabs the shit out of a random grimm. Also Ren and Nora catch up with Ruby and Jaune, just in time for the Nukavee grimm to show itself.

The whole Blake and Sun conversation seems like a big fuck you at the Sun haters. XD! Kali acting like Sun was funny.
Watch SymphogearWell, one way or another Qrow's fate is going to be decided next week. If he's still poisoned but alive in the finale, there's virtually zero chance that he dies from it because of how long "Qrow being poisoned" seems to be dragging out. Even now him dying seems unlikely, the poison seems to have been a plot device to keep him out of the Nukalvee fight. He's very likely to end up dying later in the series however.
Edit: One thing I liked was that there was no You Have Failed Me from Salem. Just "I am disappointed." Tyrian being the way he is though, that still causes him to freak the fuck out.
Edit 2: I wonder where Yang is going to end up going; to find Ruby or Raven. The choice she makes will most likely have a huge impact on the direction her character arc goes in after this.
Edit 3: Cinder is increasingly looking like Zuko. JNPR also happens to be missing a member of their cast herd once team RWBY reunites. That would be really awkward, unless of course Cinder has Pyrrha as a headghost for some reason, then it's slightly less awkward.

In my opinion, Blake's declaration of her intentions to take control of the Fang is probably the most bad ass thing she could have possibly decided. Also, they seem to be setting up a RWBY reunion and Cinder (and maybe the M&Ms) for a Heel-Face Turn in Volume 5. So that will be interesting. Also, Bumblebee confirmed.

bro im literally a girl
The possibility of CMEN turning good is definitely there, but I don't think it'll happen in volume 5. It might happen in 6 though.
Edit: Regarding Ironwood, I'm guessing the other kingdom's fear of Atlas going back to its totalitarian roots will end up accelerating a breakdown of relations when Ironwood starts acting more and more like a dictator, even if it turns out he was Properly Paranoid about the threat posed by Salem.
@Wyldchyld: My theory regarding Ozpin's previous incarnation was that he was a Merlin themed character to the KOV's King Arthur, and the KOV appointed him as the first headmaster of Beacon; that's what the wording of that WOR implies, that the KOV appointed his most trusted friends and associates as leaders of the new academies, not that he was one himself. In that scenario, KOV is also quite likely to be one of Jaune's ancestors.
Also, now that it's looking like at least a partial RWBY reunion is in the cards for the next season, I wonder if they'll end up falling into the trap of having too many main characters rather than having too many plots going on at once, assuming JNR doesn't go back to being the B team.

Laconic summary: Weiss, Yang, and Blake all now have motivation to go to Mistral and done with their interpersonal issues. My takeaway after this and the Sophomore Slump of Mr. Robot: a season of internal issues without much on the external side weakens a season.
Also, how the hell did Tyrain travel from Salem's castle to where Team RNJR was, fight them, then travel all the way back injured so quickly while they take so fucking long to get anywhere?
While it was only for a few seconds, I hope nobody accidentally saw the above when I accidentally messed up spoiler tags. Apologizes if you did.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!@Saiga If they do, I wonder why Tyrian didn't use it during his escape. Or why the writers would decide not to show it at all.

Improving as an author, one video at a time.Possibly. I don't feel we need to know how it works to see it though. Regardless, if there's some revelation to how it works, it better be relevant to actually getting there. Otherwise I'm just at the point of thinking they either didn't think stuff out or just being mysterious for its own sake as opposed to advancing the story.
Bleh, I think I'm getting jaded with RWBY. ;_; It's a shame since I like the potential of the world and characters. I just feel the plotting and pacing is incompetent and so that feeling colors so much that I find it hard to give them the benefit of the doubt like I want to.

We don't even know for sure if he is going to force him to be more like him. There's likely going to be some unintentional influence going on there, but we have no idea how severe yet.
