Yeah, but that did ruin the moment. I may not agree with the potential sex-offender/stalker interpretation, but I do think they're talking the comedy relief bit with him too far to be even mildly funny.
At least Blake voiced some of the issues people had with him, whether they're intentional or not.

Well the show is clearly aware of the Unfortunate Implications in how Sun is behaving.

But what he did wasn't necessary. Giving the information and the eavesdropping don't have to go together, hence her anger.
I don't know that other part is arguable actually. That situation was set up so that even the two of them alone could win, let alone Blake alone.
You're right, I'll back out now and just watch how it goes.

Hoping they stop pushing the annoying comic relief angle with Sun, he can be a better character than that. Also, Belladonna bonding was cheesy but heartwarming, Qrow's expodump was great, his Semblance is an interesting insight into his character, PLOT, and Jaune's voice acting is top notch. (Don't think Qrow's gonna die just yet, but he's out of commission for sure.)
And maybe this is just me, but Blake is being slightly annoying as well. It's been two thirds of the season, is she gonna stop feeling sorry for herself yet? Yang already did it and she hasn't shown up for half the season.
So yeah, to back away from another Flame Bait topic, can anyone make out the lyrics to the song during the later parts of the Qrow-Tyrian fight from episode 7? Because I definitely caught something that seemed to reference Qrow's probability semblance, and possibly something that might support that WMG that Qrow feels responsible for Summer's death.

@Ambar: I'm glad you are supporting Sun abuse. Because that's what Blake's been doing recently, not unlike Adam when he was abusing her back in a day.
Did Sun deserve to be told off? Certainly; especially since his excuse was really cringy and I do agree him being the new overexaggerated comic relief is perhaps being pushed too far.
Did he deserve to get slapped twice for ruining a moment? No, I doubt he did. He's no saint in there - as stated above - but Blake's been taking out her frustrations on him quite so recently.

And, well, Blake's perfectly entitled to quit and try something else if she feels like she isn't cut out for being a huntress. Though of course, The Call Knows Where She Lives.

the problem is no sun behivor since is not doing anything bad, but the set up of having him stumble into things.
or too put it better: Sun is right now that guy in anime who keep sliping and touching someone breast, or the accidental pervert: you cant hate him because he didnt mean it and was an accident but the way the moment is created is kinda cringe worthy.
Also, this revelation set up a new thing here: is fight with Winter...I think Qrow was never plaing to really face her, just move the fight long enought so is semblence kick in and trap Winter in the worst posible way
After all, Ironwood coming to see that? kinda bad luck dosent it?

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So with the cosmic revelations* that this episode has given us, just how Cosmic do you ladies and gentlemen think RWBY will get?
Also, what do you make of the connection I drew between the age order of the deific siblings and Yang and Ruby?
* More like breadcrumbs than an actual revelation, but you know.

Ok, I'm usually not one to throw this out so blatantly, but.
CUT THIS SHIT OUT.
Seriously, this topic keeps getting brought up, it either goes nowhere or escalates, some people are getting tired of seeing it come up. It's ridiculous, and frankly if this keeps coming up I'm just going to start calling the mods. It's ridiculous that a character's entire appearance has to be censored from discussion, but frankly this cycle of stalker/not-stalker talk is getting annoying.

because we see him as idiot, or to be more clear: the show is setting him as guy who fall into idiot moment for cheap laught,
think as Hanon razor here: we do not put him as creep when perfect explanation is that he is mighty idiot(or the show is making him one).

I feel there is some conection with the maiden and the relic, granted aparently the maiden plot wasnt tie to that at first since it was only created in 3 volume but it would a good idea to wield things up

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So now that my line of speculation has been shit down what do you think the thing that Qrow isn't telling RNJR is?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
I don't necessarily think that's the case, but Ozpin is definitely connected to the Maidens and probably also to the creator gods.
What I'm really wondering though is just how far down the rabbit hole we're going to go. Will the final villain be an expy of the Abrahamic God as is practically tradition in JRPGs? Or perhaps an unspeakable horror from before time and beyond space which spreads death and madness in its wake as it carries out its unknowable alien designs?
Or will the series settle for something more mundane? Or will it be like Mass Effect where it flirts with Going Cosmic, only to back off for a bit into more conventional grounds then suddenly ramp it Up To Eleven in the last five minutes of the series finale in a wall banger of epic proportions?
That's the biggest question.

Doesn't change the fact he was an ass about it. Or more importantly that the show keeps positioning his unacceptable behaviours as necessary.
