He taught her the ways of the sword.
And then Blake decided that was boring and bought a f'cking gun sword boomerang meat cleaver. Feeling somewhat emasculated, Adam cut the handle off a shotgun and used the rest as a sword sheath.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I never get tired of people reading so much into Blake and Sun's interactions. It's getting to a point of delusion if I'm quite honest.
I can't help but feel some are projecting some of their own feelings into the whole thing and it's just skewering their perception.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I won't push it any further, I'm just saying I can't understand such a negative reaction, unless I'm not seeing something everyone else can. But I digress, this is the last I'll speak on it unless someone else PM'so me.

@Black Yakuzu
You're looking at it in isolation, those of us who find it problematic are not. And that's all I'll say on that for now.

So is it just me or are the two White Fang members who approached Ghira the same two who appear in the intro during Yang's sequence? Are they going to try and kidnap Yang to get at Blake to get at Ghira?
Also how is Tyrian traveling through Remnant? The council of evil meeting should have only taken place a week or two before the present episode yet he managed to get from Salem's conference room to a village in Mistral in that time. Does Salem have a private jet she loans out to her minions to shepherd them around?
Her dad's not that tall...
What makes you think they're gonna die? Are they too nice?
Given that Adam is with Cinder and Cinder wanted the White Fang's allegiance, and Adam has sworn to kill Everything Blake Loves (tm) - parents do fall under that category. Making Adam leader (especially when the corruption is as far up as Dad Belladonna's messengers apparently) would increase Cinder's influence over the organization.
And if Dad-Tallest Faunus In The World-Belladonna is leader it's quite likely that Salem's Murder Club will, well, want to murder him . Which sets up the next stage of Blake's character growth nicely, if they succeed. She wanted to change the world and was being pressed on how she would do it, after all.

...took me this long to realize the irony of having someone named "Salem" apparently launching witch hunts for strange, silver-eyed women while living in a dark, monster-filled dimension surrounded by sociopaths. Her eyes even glow with flame during the intro.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!If that's the closest comparison...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Can everybody in this thread please take a deep breathe, ignore any flamebait and continue on.
I don't get a Joker vibe from Tyrian yet. He has the cackling laughter down but he's too overtly unhinged all the time. All versions of the Joker could feign sanity for short lengths of time, Tyrian seems incapable of getting through a sentence without indulging in his tics.
I really think it would be best for people to drop the topic. This episode really provided no new information, so I don't see how the conversation will avoid ending up the same way it originally did. It's clearly Flame Bait at this point.
It may seem silly to suggest people stop referring to it, honestly, but it's even sillier if we just keep repeating ourselves and let things get out of hand as they did originally. That also includes complaining about it, because it simply wouldn't be fair if only one side gets to have their say.
This isn't like other disagreements or complaints we've had in the past because none of those have turned into such a heated debated that it had to be moved out of two threads.
edit: Yeah, Tyrian's behaviour this episode was so disappointing for how little sense it made and how unsubtle they are about it. I would appreciate something like the idea that he actually gets serious when he fights, I just highly doubt he'll be any more one-note than this.

My best guess is that there are so many Grimm attacks/random bandit encounters people might overlook that one crazy guy who showed up and murdered a waitress (I mean, Atlas isn't sending a fleet of warships or a squad of robots to deal with it anyway). Since everyone outside the kingdoms basically "fends for themselves" or so I understand, I guess Tyrian might be both extremely efficient and expendable. If he dies, well, he was a crazy bandit. If he succeeds, well, he was a crazy, skilled bandit and we probably shouldn't mess with him.
Maybe Watts or that mustache guy would have been the better person to send, but whatever timetable Salem is working on probably requires them to go after another Maiden. But then that raises the question of why have Tyrian anyway. I guess he's just so scared of Salem he's "too scared to rebel" but, in a World of Badass Huntsmen/tresses they really couldn't find a "saner" associate.
Of course this might just be an anime thing where "the literally crazy Badass is always the best person for the job so long as you point them at the enemy." I mean if Nui from Kill La Kill got away with it, or, well, Kimblee from FMA.
