Can Faunus be non-mammal animals? We could get a spider Faunus.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.Hey, I have been discussing in Youtube about two things:
-What is exactly Moonslice? the writer said is not his semblence and that Adam just brute force is way out Yang, on the the other (maim)hand, we see his sword absorbing energy, having time to recharge and the symbol in his suit glowing
So...what it is the deal with him?
-Second, how those Yang user her semblance? people said she used when tacking hits while other said she used when she is angry, it dosent help the fact we see her hair glowing other times(like that Ursa cutting her hair)
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"As I understand it, Yang's semblance is tanking hits and then channeling the power from them back into her own strikes. It doesn't negate the damage, so she has to be able to withstand the hit in the first place, but if you don't knock her out then she's able to turn around and hit you with all the force she can normally muster plus however hard you hit her in the meantime.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.![]()
the issue is, every time Yang use her semblance her hair glow and her eyes turn red....but we see that other times like when a Ursa cut her hair or when she jump to punch Adam, so can she active her semblance or she need hit to do that?
![]()
The only thing I'd mention to a new viewer is that the third season gets a lot darker than the first two, but if you already know that then you're in pretty good shape.
Yang's semblance doesn't have an obvious visual aspect to it like, say, Wiess's glyphs or Pyrrha's... you know, flinging metal things around, so the glowing eyes/hair thing is likely just visual shorthand for "semblance is active". That said, Yang's not always great about using her semblance to its best advantage, especially when she's angry. As I understand it, activating her semblance and then beating the crap out of someone without taking any hits herself wouldn't actually offer any benefits over don't the same thing without her semblance on, but that doesn't necessarily mean she wouldn't do it anyway.
Actually, now that I think about it, are there any drawbacks to using your semblance? Does it drain your aura, or require dust, just take a lot of stamina, or require a lot of focus, or anything like that? I don't remember anything to that effect being mentioned, but if there isn't any real drawback, then I don't see why people (especially people like Ruby and Yang, whose semblances are essentially passive buffs rather than active abilities) wouldn't just turn them on as soon as they're in combat.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I don't know if you're watching the show on Rooster Teeth's website or their YouTube channel. If you're using their website, you'll notice that the episodes are broken up every so often by the appearance of a World of Remnant segment. The fandom is a bit divided on whether or not they add any value or detract from the show. They're world-building segments that drop clues (sometimes very obvious ones, sometimes more subtle, and the choice of narrator tends to also be a clue connected to the main story). I'd advise watching them - and when they crop up in the video list. You can make up your own mind about how valuable you think each one is, but they are worth watching at least once.
If you're watching on the YouTube channel, I'm not sure where the segments appear - I assume they're dotted through the video uploads in the same order as the RT website. If not, don't forget to watch them.
You don't seem to mind being spoiled since you said you know what happens at the end of Volume 3, but if you don't want any other spoilers, I'd avoid this thread until you're caught up.
The episodes are released as follows:
- Saturday, 10am CST: RT website, to sponsors who have a paid account.
- Sunday, 10am CST: RT website, to anyone who has a free account.
- The following Saturday, 10am CST: YouTube, to everyone.
This does mean YouTube viewers are one week behind sponsors and six days behind anyone with a free RT account.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Kick my ass?/I'm world class/And Super Saiyan now.
Also, Super Saiyan doesn't work like Yang's Semblance at all.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
I've tended to get a Super Mode vibe from Yang's Semblance.
It's not quite Super Saiyan (though Yang does get a bit of a power boost).

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Super Saiyan was accessed by getting angry enough...so there's a similarity.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Actually no. It's accessed by being "pure of heart". This was a plot point: Vegeta was able to access it by pointing out he was pure: Pure Evil. Hell, that scene in the manga its the picture for Pure Is Not Good
Also: Super Saiyan makes the Saiyan go into an Unstoppable Rage.
And in regards to Yang's Semblance: I don't think it actually has an on/off mode. The way I see it, it's always active, but the Red Eyes + Glowing is when her Semblance kicks into being a Super Mode

Somebody pulled a screen grab from one of Monty's "work photos" that showed a frame titled "moon slice" or something, during the exact scene from the Black Trailer. Since it didn't have any other name at the time and RWBY fans love naming things the name "Moon Slice" caught on.
RWBY avoids the Calling Your Attacks anime cliche so I don't think it really fits.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

I'm getting more of a 'continent' vibe than an individual country vibe. On a mythological/conceptual basis more than a realistic basis.
Still waiting for the Giant Spider Grimm, probably with a name based on the Greek spider myth of Arachne. Why Arachne? Because she was the daughter of a wool dyer, one specialised in the royal colour (Tyrian purple). Because colour.
