I never really got the appeal for Neo. Admittedly, her first more-than-a-minute appearance soured me on her.
But I just hope some of the new people can shrug off their genericness and become half as interesting as Roman.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValSo, they just need to appear more...obviously. First impressions aren't great, of course.
Over the top-ness on crazy guy...100%.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. One thing that struck me about the Maidens story is the Wizard's behaviour at the beginning of the story. He's in some kind of troubled state and just sitting alone in his cottage, staring out the window every day until the girls pull him out of his funk. Every time something is troubling Ozpin... he sits alone in his office, staring out the window.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.@Cross (Wow this thread moves quick): Admittedly, I think it would've been better to swap his and Adam's motives because wow did Adam's obsession with Blake come literally out of nowhere whereas Roman being obsessed with taking out Ruby would've made a lot more sense considering how she is a perpetual thorn in his side.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior Valthey need to make Tyrian at least as smart as Betelgeuse for me to find him interesting.
Watch SymphogearSo he'd be smart crazy instead of average intelligence crazy?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Re: Tyrian — I agree that he's rather boring. Given that he's being sent after two young women, I anticipate him being creepy as balls (in the bad way) and generally unpleasant to watch.
Re: Neo — the most interesting thing about her was her relationship with Roman. Roman's a self-centered asshole, yet works very well with Neo despite her seeming to be more powerful than he is, and we don't know why they get along so well. We also don't know why she's mute, which hints at an interesting backstory that we've seen nothing of.
Re: Roman — the reason he's the most entertaining villain of the bunch is that he actually has personality. He gleefully hams it up while the rest of Cinder's crew (including Cinder herself) are either boring, annoying, or both. Cinder is capital-e Evil and that's about it, Mercury is a smug amoral bastard, Neo is mute, Emerald keeps making hints toward having an actual conscience and being conflicted about her role as one of Cinder's enforcers, but that has yet to actually go anywhere, and Adam's only two settings are "grrr hate humans" and "grrr Blake you betrayed me".

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I refuse to believe that anime is anything special after seeing how cliche-ridden the first episode was. And I know someone was plugging it on this wiki for a little. "Trapped in a video game" with the ultimate waifu that no one understands, trying to subvert anime cliches while playing them deafly straight. I refuse to believe there is a good character among the litter.
Tyrian is amazin i will cut you.
Hrh-hrm.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Re-Zero. Tyrian needs to be as interesting as a character from that anime apparently. I saw the first episode and was not amused , but maybe Sword Art and Over Lord have just tainted any positive perspective I could have on "trapped in the game" animes.
It's a but Neo either exfoliates a lot, or the damage healed (look at Cinder's face) but she never regained her voice (why?). Also, Silver Eyes seem to be Maiden kryptonite, or kryptonite to whatever Cinder is.

Flame lady can still talk...just not good.
(3) I've considered that Torchwick and Neo aren't dead and have mysteriously teleported to offscreen land, and that Whitley is secretly an evil alien parasite possessing the original Whitley's body. There is literally nothing about this show I haven't considered.
Neo being a Maiden conflicts with her lack of Avatar-level bending. Being an illusionist and masking her real abilities sure, that makes sense, but then we'd also have to assume that Raven is so badass she can scare maidens away. Then we have to assume that Neo is a Lvl 1 Maiden and refuses to use her powers. And that whatever Maiden she stole from had an illusion ability that the other Maiden didn't have. And then we'd have to wonder why Neo is hiding her maidenhood (tee hee) when she's working with Master Escape Artist Roman Torchwick, and Cinder's group is clearly on the hunt for Maidens, especially when we've seen Cinder actively use her abilities without restraint.
Too many razors for a morning shave.
Yes, it'd be a little out there.
