"I think it's more Tobias is saying that Sun isn't actually being nice, he's just acting nice so he can get laid."
He is really not.
" The issue is that Sun's borderline Satellite Love Interest at this point. How many scenes have there been with him that didn't involve Blake directly?"
That's what's he's talking about.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Actually, it's more like Tobias disagreeing with a statement that the nice things Sun does for Blake proves he cares more about her than any of her friends do - which was apparently a joke anyways and didn't really need to explode into this big dissection of romantic intent and its influence on people's actions.
Here's a courtesy link

Iirc, she drinks tea during her meeting with Sun in Volume 1
However here's a question: In Volume 4, did Blake go to him for help, or did he find her and basically drag her kicking and screaming to help her out?
Because either one of those sounds funny

She won't survive as a loner. That's why she went to school.

Oh I can see it now:
- Sun: Come on Blake, stop struggling and get on the boat and let us help you.
Blake: No! If I go with you guys, you can get hurt.
Sun: Getontheboatgetontheboatgetontheboat. -tosses Blake onto the boat-
Sage: Does this mean I get actual lines?
Scarlet: Does this mean I'll be relevant?
Neptune: Nope.

That's an alternative reason.

Who are those other 2 "S" named characters?
I could actually see it being the former. She's basically doing the exact same thing she did in late season 1. Things with her team have gotten emotionally difficult, she doesn't know how to face them, so she ran away and has been chilling with Sun ever since. As I see it, there are three possible explanations for why:
- She's emotionally-invested in him enough that she desires his presence in her life even when she knows she shouldn't be near him. Because Adam.
- He's disconnected from the RWBY drama, making it easier to confide in him. She blames herself for Yang's dismemberment, but because Sun has no personal attachment to Yang, it's easier to talk about it with him than it would be with a RWBY or JNPR member.
- Both.
Blake is really good at running. Her powerset is optimized for it. I can't imagine Sun keeping up with her if she didn't want to be kept up with.

I can't tell if you're joking or not. If you're being serious: Sage and Scarlet are the other two members of team SSSN. Sage is the black guy with green hair and the BFS, Scarlet is the redhead voiced by Gavin Free and get hit in the nuts with a coconut.

But he should be able to keep up with her, he's a monkey...there's an agility thing to note.
I'm not joking.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice."trend in shows with female protagonists to portray men who are interested in the females as being inherently wrong for doing so. That they are the "NICE GUY" who will lash out and turn violent when his advances are inevitably rejected and is mocked for them endlessly."
Yeah, I have to agree with this a little bit, while I untderstand that in feminist oriented work is just create more one shot chararter for rpotagonist to beat, it get annoying quickly
Hell, One reason I enjoy Adam was because his "reunion" with Blake sound extremly like yuri fan fiction where the awfull ex come hit the poor women only for her real girlfriend come and kick his butt, good thing that was subverted
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"It was all a big misunderstanding, that everyone involved can just laugh away.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice....I did not literally mean "keep up" as in "running fast enough that she can't get away by sprinting speed alone".
Point is, Blake's really good at vanishing. Like, it is literally her Semblance. If she's in "Get the f*ck out of Dodge" mode, then she's not liable to be found unless she wants to be. Adam only caught up to her because she found a place she wanted to stay and began putting down roots.
