Granted, I would imagine what jaune would said to him, after all he can said Ren is not the best man to talk considering he just follow Nora around like lost puppy and he will have to answer Nora feeling(whatever the hell they are) or being silent forever like Phyrra
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Ren and Nora are in an equilibrium of Can't Spit It Out.
As for Jaune, I'm not sure why people are assuming he's going to act like he was in love with her all along. I'd think him being depressed because he never got to see how things would be between them would be more likely than him going "She's the only girl I'll ever love and she's gone!"
Probably because the guilt will cause him to be in denial...

It is his fault, of course.
It's just understandable.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So, we have a better look at RNJR.
◊
JNR all look a bit different, just instead of having new designs they had their old ones upgraded.
Jaune has different chestpiece, a spaulder on his left shoulder, armbands and actual boots. Most interestingly, he has a red sash tied around his waist, evoking Pyrrha's look. Wonder if he got the cloth from Ruby's cloak? That would explain why it's so tattered.
Ren no longer ties his hair up, changed his pants and boots and popped his collar.
Nora has grown her hair a bit, wears a jacket, sleeves on her elbows, changed a ribbon tying her skirt for a belt, and got herself knee-high boots, though she lost the metal brace on her torso. Also, her heart-shaped cleavage is torn a bit, making it look like an arrow was shot through the heart.

That was dissected here already...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.
Primo- the image is better quality and closed in on straight on RNJR, allowing to see some things that weren't visible earlier here
.
Secundo- it wasn't really dissected, since everyone seemingly ignored it first for Jesu Otaku rant, and then for Tobias' skit.
A total of 3 people commented on it before that minor derail, that's pretty dissected...I'd say.
But okay, I get what you is saying.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Hey, I didn't notice the changes, so thanks for the analysis. Had overlooked Jaune's sash in particular.
And from what the writers have said, I'm expecting Jaune not to be melodramatically beating his chest and crying in the rain, but likely internalized at least some guilt. They said he'd done his mourning, but I expect that the fact that if he had been stronger Pyrrha wouldn't have had to send him away and fight Cinder on her own is not lost on him. Doubt the lookout thing will be brought up, though.
Apparently the village in the character short was on the outskirts of Vale

Honestly, it's kind of interesting where you have a village that looks like downtown... and then you go back to Qrow's story and recall a medieval town.
The way it - the downtown village - looks, you'd think there are some defenses to ward off the Grimm, rather than it being completely out in the open.

They're walking at a snail's pace...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I was wondering about the lack of visible village defences as well. I would have expected at least some inspiration from mediaeval Europe, where villages, towns, forts, country homes and castles all had some kind of border protection to defend against attack - at the very least to fend off opportunistic attacks.
Then again, I wonder if we'll get some Tremors inspiration? That would be amusing.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.A Graboid Grimm would be pretty great, if you ask me.

We had a debate about how ungodly long it took RNJR to walk to Mistral and everyone was all like, "Well it takes a really long time if you're fighting Grimm! Six months sounds about right since they had to get over the water!" and I was all like, "People! We have people in real life who have gone cross-country in less time than it's taking RNJR to, and said people don't have superhuman attributes and airship technology!"

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
As far as I remember, someone followed up the statement you're quoting by noting that the trailer was set before the volume started, during the 6 month timeskip as they were traveling.
They got sidetracked by every single town and village on the journey. Or they got a boat ride from a character based on Odysseus.

Wait... so then that trailer, all of that was just "Something Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer" RWBY edition?
Interesting. It kind of fits how the original trailers were before Volume 1 and didn't receive a lot of explanation until later.
At this point I'm convinced they were faffing about playing Pokemon Go. Sorry world you're going to have to wait we have to capture this Eevee!

And then it got too real. The "you never loved Pyrrha, you just felt guilty about it" thing, I mean.
