I think she's very much gonna try and do her own thing rather than catch up to the rest, whether to get revenge, answers or save people I'm not sure. It's also in the air just what will get her off her ass — perhaps a pep talk from Taiyang, although I'm very curious as to their relationship. He's also one I want to get some more spotlight on, he's been talked up as a cooky fellow and doting parent, but we've also heard that he got deeply depressed after his first wife left him and the second died — one of his daughters being crippled and afterwards the other running away to try and save the world is probably not gonna do wonders for him.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The second link includes Weiss and Yang palette-swapped characters.
What the hell is BBCF? I've never heard of this before.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Dear Rooster Teeth and Arc System Works. Team up and make a RWBY fighting game. NOW.
Interesting stuff! Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game actually does something like that! (even though it's a beat-em-up). As you level up you unlock more moves that you can use, and over time the enemies get more moves too.

Blaz Blue something something. Fighting game of the "anime fighter" subgenre, which tends to feature 2D sprites as opposed to models, quite diverse and wacky characters, animesque art, and extremely complicated mechanics with a sky-high skill ceiling.
Yeah, something like that, only with a single player that has levels and a progression system to ease you into the game, so the learning curve isn't so sky-high.
Or even an RPG story mode, with a fighting-based combat system where you can switch party members, like Skull Girls or Marvel Vs Capcom, and level up to learn new moves. A traditional fighting game could be included as a multiplayer mode.
BBCF is BlazBlue: Central Fiction
Characters with RWBY palettes in Central Fiction are:
- Es: Ruby Rose
- Izayoi: Weiss Schnee
- Bullet: Yang Xiao Long
Additionally: Hibiki Kohaku's Drive works like Blake's Semblance
Mori, creator of Blaz Blue has actually said in interviews that he wants to make a RWBY Fighting game so...
I will say with doing a single player mode with RPG Mechanics, the main issue with unlocking moves through levelling is that 1: You have to grind through 1 v 1 fighting matches and 2: To actually balance such a game to make for a multiplayer component, you have to have all their moves intact for that, because in alot of fighters, multiple specials are required to perform combos, and taking them away cripples the character otherwise.
It's why most fighting games that have RPG Modes instead increase your stats, give you throwable items, or give you perks, all on top of what your character already has.
A RWBY Fighter's story mode would either be a retelling of Volume's 1-3, or a completely original, non-canon story.
Also, I would have found it hilariously cruel if they gave the Yang palette to Ragna.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...JJBA: Eyes of Heaven has you unlock moves as you level in the single player (among other things) but gives you all moves in the multiplayer, I do believe.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That was due to it being a different kind of fighter, as it was a 3D, full movement arena fighter that much less combo focused. The Specials didn't link into each other like they do with conventional fighters.
Complex Example For Those Interested: note
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Never played Blaz Blue and don't care for competitive fighters. Never was very good at them. My vote's actually for a Beat 'em Up style RWBY game similar to Scott Pilgrim vs The World, unlockable movelist, RPG progression system, meat shield end-level bosses.
And boy does no one ever talk about Grimm Eclipse anymore.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Most of the Dragon Ball games tend to give you new moves and transformations as you progress through the Story Mode.
Regarding Grimm Eclipse: I'm excited for it, but I'm not a PC gamer so I need to wait for it to come out on console.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Yeah but I don't know if I'd consider the DBZ games competitive fighters, which if we're talking a Blaz Blue-style RWBY game is likely what it would be.
So you've played it? It was that bad? How far did they get with the campaign?

@ Emperordaein Going by that example: (Removing Ryu's hurricane kick, or a move that does the same thing); that should be easy enough to balance for a single-player mode.
For example, make sure enemies have no projectiles or much of a reach at first, therefore eliminating the need to close the distance quickly.
And around the time that move is unlocked (which would be early in the game, since it's a basic move), then you start getting enemies that sometimes require you to close the distance quickly, so you get lots of practice with the new move.

the game looks pretty enough i guess? but it doesn't look stellar. plus it has a pretty steep difficulty curve, and there isn't much reason to be playing imo.
the gameplay just ends up feeling really samey after a while and eventually gets boring. there isn't much variety in enemies, and the differences between the characters isn't enough of a reason to play through for too long.
it's better with multiplayer, as everything is, but overall it still ends up as a mediocre beat-em-up that looks nice.
hopefully the full game is a lot better, but i'm not gonna hold my breath.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI always feel bad that, for all people's complaints about how the fight choreography has changed, I'm fine with that tradeoff for the more coherent plotting. To me, fights and all that are nice, but I rather have a plot that's focused, storyboarded, doesn't have random moments, and so on. The plot still has some issues, but still, the improvements are obvious and I rather have more of that.
Also, I like the new CG.
I actually do think a Beat Em Up is a good idea, especially since Monty said he would have liked a a Castle Crashers style game during one interview. However... I would actually like it if it didn't have major RPG elements. Because while I like Scott Pilgrim and Castle Crashers, the problem i've always had is that when you do Co-Op, the character that your friends play as can't be played anywhere. They end up underleveled and underpowered, barely able to contribute. You have to grind them up as well, which sucks. Also I feel that having little to no upgrading elements encourages more complex stage and enemy design.

Agree. Also, I'm in a minority for not liking Monty's fight scenes. The fights occurred too fast to get any meaningful idea of the character's movements unless you freeze frame, and when you freeze frame, you discover that what makes the movements look so fast is because parts of the weapon and character are broken up into disjointed pieces so that a weapon ends up looking like it's magically vanishing and reappearing in a slightly different location as if it's teleported.
Which made slowing the fights down a mess. As a result, I feel the great lost is Monty's design creativity, rather than his fight scenes.
On the subject of trailer. Now I've seen the proper trailer instead of the illicit one, I notice that Yang's hair is in a ponytail. It looks good. I really like it.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.
