Too broody?
But as for why I'm not all for "every big thing should be a team fight" the team gimmick always seemed unnecessary to me. Jaune and Ruby are made team leader, and except for a bit of angst early on, it's not really treated as a serious thing. None of the others in the group actually seem to look to them as a leader in any meaningful sense, and it's never actually clear to me why they have that system to begin with.
Ninety brought up a main eight, and that's another problem; Nora and Ren do not feel like Main character. For Ren it's even lampshaded a few times.
I suppose the team dynamic was used as an excuse for their relationships to actual grow and develop but it's not really needed for that. They all stay in the same dorm and rooms anyway, that's your in. Maybe the reason for that is that they're on the same team, but that could easily be changed to it being randomly assigned or Ozpin doing it teach them a lesson or something.
Adam: tell me Yang, do you bleed? Yang: GET AWAY FROM HER Adam: you will...
- Adam: Tell me, Yang. Do you bleed?
- Yang: Sure, three days out of every month. I actually just started yesterday.
- Adam: O.O >.< Why would you share that?! That is the grossest thi- (nose broken, thrown backwards by force of impact)
- Yang: Hey Blake, I found his weakness! It turns out stalkers are uncomfortable with female bodily functions! I know, surprised me too.
So a pet Metal Gear then.
I honestly don't know what's funnier. The fact that typing in "Blake Belladonna is useless" to prove this point wrong brought up lesbianism, or that I found a comic called Weiss the useless lesbian
.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Team's existed solely so the main characters and show could be called RWBY with a W, and that's literally it, with them struggling to justify it in story some how. I mean that certainly seemes like how Monty rolled, and apparantly the whole idea for the show just started with "What if there were 4 badass girls that were Red White Black and Yellow?" and they built it from there.
So I don't expect the teams to really matter all that much. In fact I bet M and K were thrilled to get rid of the school setting just so they could start introducing characters without them having to have 3 other ones tied to them.
Though I do think it will be something Ozpin came up with specifically so his ultimate team will be small enough to defeat Salem without having to have too many people know about his secrets.
They never had a problem introducing characters without 3 others before. Team SSSN consists of Sun, Neptune, Who Gives A Shit, and Nobody Cares. Team CRDN is Cardin, Crony 1, Crony 2, and Crony 3. Team CFVY is Coco, Velvet, and Those Two Guys.
I really don't think the Teams were as much of an obstacle as you're suggesting.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Weiss had a partial summon in a stressful situation. Which means that she can now realistically work on summoning the Knight properly.
Seeing as how the Knight one-shot that Paladin, I'm going to expect the full thing is going to be her "ace in the hole" if you will.
Or the knight gets the Worf Barrage treatment. That knight is her first summon. The first summons usually get outclassed in the long run.
Weiss will slay Kevin and teach him to fire lasers.
I dont know, I feel this series have team work as mayor theme around, I mean even the villian now how to fight like that(Neo and Roman, Emerald and mercury) to many series tend to forget that and focus to much in the one on one.
So I think it would be better if Blake and Yang take Adam, it reflect better in her learing to have friend(which is important in order to help in case of abused) instead of her calling dibs on him.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I'm still not getting why people are talking about this as if it's a one or the other situation.
One character having a personal battle doesn't suddenly mean team work means nothing or that that character can't participate in important team battles later on. It's also not saying that Blake should destroy the White Fang by herself or anything like that.
And are you on a phone?

is a matter of aproach, otherwise you should yourself in a foot and broke an aseop, like many shonen show like Naruto, Adam is a tought enemy and already harm two chararter already, so giving them team work to defeat him sound more fitting than just giving to Blake alone
Phyrra magneto ability, and as suport I will said emerald
Also, I dont know if that is her semblence but I will said Cinder bow and arrow tricks

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"
How is it a broken aesop? Again, the characters sometimes doing some things by themselves doesn't suddenly mean that teamwork is shit or doesn't matter. Not when they also do other, likely much more important things together.
At the end of the day, Adam is just one guy. The White Fang existed before him and it would likely persist if he were to be taken out. That's where not being alone comes in. Ultimately, defeating the White Fang as a whole is more important than defeating Adam, and that's certainly something that Blake won't do alone.
Edit: But, I think Tobias explained pretty well the personal note, not just of actual history and just a personal note of people fighting alone. I don't really think there's much else for me to say.

because for being a story about team work, it arrange in such way the chararter end alone.
And Adam already cripple one of the main chararter, that leave with something to settle, unlike Merc who just did kick the dog moment, the white fang are mooks but Adam is a bigger deal, it also tie with Blake who is a loner and have a tendecy to push those around her, she(and the rest of the team) need to face things a one.
Again we have yet to see what aproach they used
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The White Fang aren't mooks. Individuals in it, sure, but the organization as a whole isn't. Without the White Fang, Adam is just a lone nutjob who probably would have already been captured.
I'm not saying anything is set in stone, just pointing out why Blake dealing with his is the most likely scenario. There's just too much baggage going on with the two for them to not have at least another conflict alone.
And, honestly, Yang is probably going to get a robot arm that will effectively "uncribbles" her, and leaves me less receptive to her payback. But we're just going around in circles here.
But either way, I still don't get why a dichotomy is being made were Blake ends up fighting him alone somehow means teamwork and friendship doesn't matter.

That's just Unknowing. English isn't his first language and it kinda shows, but he has improved since he's been here.
Regarding the White Fang: I think there's a bit of a communication error here. Specifically, I think it's being assumed that if the entire team isn't fighting Adam, then Ruby, Weiss, and Yang won't have anything to do.
I'm sure they'll have their own fights during Adam's climax. Now that the focus is away from Torchwick, maybe we'll get some cool new White Fang characters out of it, or see some returning ones like that asshole with the chainsaw that Yang fought on the train the last time the team had to split off for multiple simultaneous 1v1 matches.

First at all: thanks for saying that, I know my post are hard to read sometimes but its good to know I have improved
Second: is Weiss the one who faced Lt or banesaw or non-latherface, whatever you want to call it and so far he want to kill a schneeeeeeeee(what, I like the way he said it)
thrid: while I think new villians are in order(so far we have very few right now) I doubt we will see more white fangs chararter in the future, they have their used in the first two season and yet we only see two of them with names
Also, that train sequence was there because Monty wanted 1 vs 1 battles which make things....awkard as hell.

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"It's true. When you first showed up here, you were largely unintelligible and I think a lot of people ignored you for that reason. These days, you have your moments here and there where it's really hard to make out what you're trying to say, but a lot of your sentences are well enough put together and we can usually catch the gist of the rest.
Yeah, that was Weiss fighting him on the train. I wouldn't mind seeing him make a return appearance.
That's because the White Fang weren't really the focus. They were being built up in the background while Torchwick took on the role of current villain. With him gone and Adam next on the Sorting Algorithm of Evil, now's the perfect time to really delve into the Faunus/human conflict and flesh out the White Fang.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Yeah, unknowing I apologize for my previous comments about your posting now that I know English isn't your first language. Most of my issues with it is well... guess who's the spell-checker for several of his friends who's first language is English and they butcher it constantly
?
Just know this: even on your bad grammar, your posting is still more understandable than one of my friends (seriously, the dude cannot spell worth shit)
Also yes: I want the White Fang Lieutenant to make a reappearance. Also, where's the second named White Fang member? Adam's the only named member right now.

All overplayed "jokes" aside, Blake really isn't that useless. Her track record isn't noticeably worse than, say, Weiss. And from what I've seen, "Blake is useless" doesn't seem to be a fandom thing outside of this thread. Mind you, she's still my least favorite character of the main eight, but that's because of her personality, not her combat performance.
