He's just using that as an excuse to hilariously maim some humans...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah but to make the connection that Yang is someone Blake loves? What if Yang was a Jerkass with a Heart of Gold who just happens to be worried about the safety of her completely platonic roommate?
I mean Adam specifically chose the words "everything you love."
Adam's rationality is like:
(List of everything Blake likes, loves, or feels any sort of emotion towards (That I must destroy!!!):
- sushi
- belly shirts
- lakes
- getting scratched behind the ears
- destroying all of my furniture (I must burn all of my furniture!!!)
- people in her dorm (I must kill them!!!)
- people that live near her dorm (I must kill them too!!!)
- anyone that would call out her name while standing outside of a flaming building in the middle of a terrorist attack (they must suffer!!!)
- cod, whitettail, tuna (I must wipe these species of fish off the face of Remnant!!!)

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Adam won the physical battle and the mental war.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I got the impression that Blake left pretty much right before Cinder returned with her An Offer You Can't Refuse. He was all gearing up to hunt her down, when Cinder's like "Haha no, you're working for me now, and I don't care about your lost cat."

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Dealing with Blake seems to be lower on Adam's list of priorities. I'm thinking that post-Volume 3, he isn't going to be actively hunting Blake down. Instead, he'll only take the opportunity to inflict pain on Blake when an opportunity presents itself, like it did with Yang.
Also, I think Adam knew that Yang was connected to Blake through the first round of the Vytal Festival Tournament.
I mean Adam specifically chose the words "everything you love."
Love CAN be platonic, you know. That wouldn't rule out the "everything you love line".
Really, there isn't much point over-analyzing what Adam said unless we have some evidence that he actually knows who the fuck Yang is. He's making a reasonable assumption.
"Everything you love" would presumably cover all types of love. There's not much point in saying "everything you romantically love" unless you're talking to a polyamorist and that's just odd.
No really, I mean Adam should know about Blake and her group after the whole breach fiasco, but he didnt run into her but the oposite, her found him, he told to get closed, they "fight"(jaja) and Yang come screeming for her.
Also, intersting Adam said they will return to MISTRAL, isnt where Cinder said she and her team comes?
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"That reminds me.
Am I the only one who finds it weird that Yang got her arm cut off...which caused her to go unconscious for some reason? I mean, if it was few minutes later, I can take it as her passing out from the blood loss, but the suddenne ss does feel strange, now that I watch that scene again.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. Her eyes were still open...
I think she was just...contemplating.
She'll have plenty more time to do that.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.This. While the mental image of Adam sidling up out of the shadows with edgelord eyes and blade drawn any time someone gets a bit too close to Blake and going, "ARE YOU BANGING? NO? Carry on," is quite hilarious, I don't think that's how he intended it.
Uh, no. Going into shock can cause a wide variety of symptoms that would make someone unresponsive up to and including outright unconsciousness. Even if she didn't physically pass out, she'd still be in no condition to continue fighting and might not even be capable of recognizing her situation anymore.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Instead of appropriately going with that reaction to losing her arm...
Maybe...because she's the cool character, Yang could've had a reaction similar to this kid:
Tanking hits is kind of her thing, I could see her doing this.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That's possible but...
I still don't really buy that. These are people trained for combat who have superpowers that let them get smashed through walls/land from several hundred foot drops and laugh it off. I have to assume there's some higher pain threshold in this world or nothing they do makes sense. A show can't have somebody resist x amounts of pressure/force, but then say " but the shock and pain of losing a limb made them lose consciousness."
Most war films I've seen usually have the person react to the pain at least before passing out. This is the first example I've seen of someone getting mutilated and just passing out. It's not often you get to see someone lose a limb but I've never heard or known anyone to immediately pass out from it. People get cut by glass and don't even realize it happened (that's happened to me, not identifying the glass in my hand until I actually saw it and the pain registering moments later).
To top that off Yang was pissed, and her explicit power is getting stronger the more damage she takes, which seems to be affected by her state of mind as well - so Yang of all people immediately losing consciousness? Adrenaline keeps people from losing consciousness doesn't it?
"Ah but in real life there's an unpredictable range of responses therefore it is not the least bit odd that someone perfectly equipped for taking damage would have the most passive response to taking damage."

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!You guys can argue that all you like but I'm still far more concerned with why P-Money's (because I can never spell her name) Magnet Slam didn't also affect Penny.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Adrenaline should make one stay concious when injured. However, getting a limb sliced off faaaaaaaaaaar exceeds that threshold, and would send even the toughest person into shock. Adrenaline is a boost to your body's systems, not a super-override or something.
Pyrrha? And it did affect Penny. When Pyrrha used her Semblance, Penny's eyes went wide and she had a shocked look on her face. Essentially: Pyrrha gave Penny a heart attack

What's weird to me is that Adam decided not to search for her during Cinder's flashback. Then when he shows up he's all "RULES OF NATURE" and decides to attack the first person he thinks Blake might have any relation to.
