Maybe a little bit, a few lost limbs and some noticeable deep scars would be enough...for visually.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Thanks for the response, but can I ask who you're quoting as I don't know where that comes from.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Plus Roman was evil, was beating up a 15 year old and was in the process of telling her how he didn't care if everyone in Vale was killed by Grimm because the only thing that mattered to him was keeping himself alive no matter what terrible things he had to do to others.
It would be significantly different if it was some helpless townperson that got nommed instead.
Plus a bloodless swallowing only works with the bigger Grimm who are already mostly shown as dangerous as it is. Beowulves and Ursas, the Grimm people suggest should be made more meanacing, aren't really scaled to do that.

Cool. Thanks very much.
Ooh, that chat confirms the CCT = Beacon Tower thing. I knew that had been confirmed somewhere, but didn't know where.

It never seemed that important...until now.

When your personality can be described as "Adorkable doormat" it can. Hell, iirc, they mention that Velvet doesn't really stand up for herself.
Plus: Cardin is much bigger than her.

If they're the nerdy or meek type, it could happen...
It's not likely, I got "bullied" by some 4th graders once...in 7th grade.
Rare examples.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Upperclassmen being bullied by underclassmen...well, that's something not even theoretically possible where I came from, where meek upperclassmen are just ignored (and backtalked) by underclassmen.
So when I saw Cardin bullying Velvet in front of everyone, it had more of effect of making her look really pathetic.
It's a weird concept...everything's all fun and games until your inferiors wanna pick on you, then things just get awkward.

About Grimm: let fae it, the grim arent threating because the show was never about that, it talk about it but the focus was the 4 cute girls kciking butt(yeah, not ass, butt) it was going to happen, is the dissonace between backstory and story focus, or like I call it, the "pokemon syndrome"(I call it like that because of much dark fic the show have)
"Faunus stink and deserve to be taken out as a group with the ease it takes to defeat one really tough Grimm. "
Now, before I will agree with you about it, but as my favorite chararter is a faunus and he maim the last fucker to try to cross him, I have to disagree
" Adam broke someone's neck by curb-stomping them."
He did WHAT?....damn, he just getting cooler with each moment
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Also, on Grimm:
Who gives a flying fuck about the average Joe? Is there any of the heroes a Joe Schmo? Not even Jaune and Blake is a Joe at this point. Hell, if any of the characters have someone they want to protect who is a joe, that might have been relevant but even that is not the case here.

Ya don't remember? It was right when Black found him and he was stepping on some random shmuck. Poor guy probably ruined Adam's boots.

Gory Discretion Shot is a thing.
Also, as a reminder, Adam stomped on someone's neck so hard it cracked quite audibly. Gore can be more than visual.
