From what I gathered nobody really wanted that Stinger except Monty and Shane and Monty being the boss, basically forced it because he wanted Raven to show her face and have a line of dialogue.
With Monty gone and Shane having no influence over the story, they basically ignored it since they never wanted it in the first place, maybe because they were afraid it was too obvious a hint that the team would be going their seperate ways soon.
Obvious hints...let 'em happen, there's nothing wrong with a little blatancy.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm not going to discuss Shane, so steering away from that topic, the RWBY team did say that Raven was supposed to show up during Volume 3 but they were forced to cut that due to limited time. They're not ignoring Raven, they've changed things around. My guess is that the Stinger is still relevant, it's just going to take longer to reveal than initially imagined.
Changing things around isn't unusual for RWBY because Monty himself mentioned during Volume 1 that there's a difference between the story that's created inside your head and how that story unfolds when you get to develop it. He mentioned things in Volume 1 were shifting around - things he initially imagined happening quickly, have been pushed back to later volumes and things he imagined happening later in the story got brought forward to the beginning. It was mentioned again in Volume 2, especially when everyone said that Volumes 2 and 3 were basically the storyline that was supposed to unfold in Volume 2, but as Volume 2's plot was developed, they realised they had too much for a single volume and needed to separate it across the two volumes (and it sounds like that problem occurred before Monty came up with the Maidens, which probably further changed what was going to go into Volume 3).
What Monty and others have said isn't unusual. A lot of authors, poets, script-writers and film-makers are on record as saying no matter how much they may have plotted out before sitting down to actually write the story, when they begin to write it, they find they have to change things as they go, and the final result is often very different to the original concept.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I guess the dream is a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment then.
Dayam.
You know sooner or later somebody new is going to join this forum and someone is going to have to give an objective rundown of what exactly happened. I still haven't read that entire letter myself and no one really wanted to talk about it then either. I get that the guy might've been obtuse, but if cutting Sheena out of the franchise had any truth to it, there's some nastiness from both sides.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!What is this "fandom" you speak of? I only know of the FNDM.
By the by, has anyone turned that into a backronym yet?

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
(2) Sweet, neapolitan-flavored angels in heaven, that's delightfully salacious.
Found the source
while I was at it. Only to find that there was no source. Apparently it's from somebody's defunct tumblr

I just looked... and my god you're not kidding. o_o Wow.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That would require a level of surgical knowledge I'm not sure Raven is equipped with.
I think she has enough abilities as is.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!![]()
The only abilities I've seen Raven use is creating portals and intimidating Neo. Raven still has a bunch of other colorful sword blades which probably do awesome things, like toasting bread. She is also apparently a spy for Ozpin. Therefore, dream infiltration sounds like a skill Raven would have.
Currently, with her two appearances thus far, it's like giving Freddy Krueger's powers to Jason Voorhees, overkill. If she's going to have that power, she needs to be less of a mysterious, untouchable assassin first.
- Able to fend off Neo through mere killing intent/appearance.
- A BFS Elemental Rock–Paper–Scissors sword that may or may not grant Implausible Fencing Powers, such as:
- Teleportation.
- And she can infiltrate dreams.
Another reason I don't see her having dream powers:
- Taiyang is a good fighter (having apparently taught Yang), and Yang is a good fighter.
- Ruby's fast and bad H 2 H, Yang's slow and great H 2 H.
- Qrow is aloof and trained Ruby personality. Raven is stoic and isn't interested in helping Yang.
- Qrow mainly uses a weapon in his fights, but we know he's pretty strong, whereas Ruby's weak without one. Qrow can turn into a crow, we see Ruby do that Spawn/Alucard thing with her cape - currently, they're the only shapeshifters we've seen on the show that aren't using hypnotism. Yang's Semblance alters her eye color also.
- When Qrow went to save Amber, he charged in alone, similar to how Ruby charged in alone against the Death Stalker, and how she was alone when she found the WF hideout, and how she went to face Torchwick and Neo alone, and how she went to save Pyrrha alone. I get the vibe Qrow is sort of a lone wolf, since as far as we know, he's been going on missions by himself in service to Ozpin.
All of these abilities and traits match each other or create some obvious contrast. She's a spy sure, but Raven having the ability to enter dreams doesn't really fit with anything the Rose-Xiao Long family has been seen or implied to be capable of doing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I did read the whole letter. I am capable of doing an objective summary of his letter. However, I don't want to because I've seen the snowball that an originally objective post can spawn. That is why I think it's wisest to keep discussion about Shane's letter to a minimum. This is the Internet. Things snowball.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Offscreen land is indeed a wonderful place.
- Japanese release poster
apparently.
- Does this make Neo a cannibal?
- This is somehow even sweeter.
◊
- Probably not safe for work
◊, but I do love how Ruby is just that much shorter.]]
Well, Ruby is only 5'2" (before the Time Skip dunno if she's any taller afterwards), and Pyrrha's 6'0" in heels.

For one weird moment was Cinder taking on Phyrra hair and saying something ominious...but we dont know why because her battle with Penny was planed mid way of the operation, maybe that figure out she will be maiden? just like anything else with Cinder, we dont fucking know
