Well now this serious story stuff...thing has to hit harder than it ever did in the first 2 season books.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That's good to hear I guess, though I question what that will entail for Yang, since I still doubt she'll get to do that much. Plus I'm more unsure as to what this volume will be like. It certainly won't be lighthearted, but I doubt it'll be very angsty and depressing, so I'm wondering how it's going to go.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Yang's gonna be just fine, she's the spunky one. All she needs is an attack...walking stick.
"Blake"...needs to stop running away from her problems.
I don't really know what Snowflake needs, her "trapped in the tower" situation is something I didn't really understand.
Rwby needs to train the weakest fighter there, because she's not got anything to mope-a-dope about.

Is there a reason you have Blake in quotes? It's her name. There's no Blake imposter.
It's hard times, mang. The struggle to use a character's actual name is real.
Don't point it out, people might notice a pattern.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Weiss is at a cross roads. She wanted to huntress it up for a few years, doing good will before taking the company and reworking it for a more friendly image, undoing the damage to her family's name.
Unfortunately that's can't work now, Papa Schnee took her away because of the crisis brewing in the world and probably put a stop to her fighting, locking her away until she's ready to run the company. She can't do both.
So she has to choose. Either she does what her father wants, and gets the company in a few years, or she leaves goes back out to the fight and rejoins Ruby, and cuts ties with her family, losing her social status, inheretence, and leaving the Schnee's family future out of her control.
Obviously she's gonna pick the latter, she's just angsting about it right now.
The ball is probably in Weiss' court for her inheritance unless she has another sibling, since I doubt Papa Schnee wants somebody outside of the family to take over the company. Winter is pretty heavily implied to not want to succeed him (or was it confirmed?), while the only other kid he has clearly does. I don't think disowning Weiss is actually an option for the old man, which I hope she abuses later on if they don't patch up their relationship.

I laughed at this more than I probably should.
I thought that was why people liked Snowflake...she has something...nothing else to be ashamed of for a goil her age.

I know the game's basically the first game to be made by some indie devs, but it seems like a pretty meh game at the moment. Maybe it'll get better in later updates.

(2) It's Rooster Teeth's first game and it was kicked off from a fan's (admittedly impressive) beta test. To be honest I never really expected much from the game, not worth the $20. It was just exciting that a fan got to have his idea materialize and even be picked up by the company. Rooster Teeth was just a couple of guys getting drunk and doing playthroughs once upon a time.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

It's not about whether to have to humor or not. It's that 1 and 2 sold the show entirely around the wacky kids in monster hunting school. Then 3 took a hammer to that. That's done, outside of Chibi. The show probably can't go back to that now.
But at the same time 3 sold the show on the shocking twists and them demolishing that setting. They can't do that anymore either, because that's done. The setting has moved, and them not being in school anymore and being down a friend isn't going to be that shocking anymore.
So for the rest of the show, the main part of the show since Beacon was just the prologue and this is going to be a long runner, whatever they're gonna make the focus of the show now is up in the air.
