Okay, so I just had to skip over, like, 20 pages. Did I miss anything?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!RWBY: Grimm Eclipse has now come out of Early Access and into Full Release status.
Also, you can buy the previous RWBY Volumes in a bundle with the game, a bundle without the game, or individually on Steam. Yeah, I know, you can watch RWBY on Steam! heh.
The Volumes are the All-in-One deals like in Netflix.

Well we confirmed that Adam is a rapist.
Everyone signed an agreement for ship neutrality, meaning that we all accept each others' ships and no one will argue about which ones are better.
I just found out about one of the animators leaving on bad terms with Rooster Teeth.
Some of us think Cinder is a Villain Sue and some of us don't.
EDIT: And the RWBY Volume 4 trailer showed off a new gorilla Grimm that actually puts up a fight against Ruby.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
At best Ruby is 16. I don't see that much of a change IMO
And how could we call this new Grimm? Grimmston?

Uni catRuby was 15 at the start of RWBY, and Volume 3 Ended likely 8 months after the start of Volume 1. Volume 4 takes place 6 to 8 months after that, so Ruby's likely 16 or 17, depending on when her birthday is supposed to be.
Also: We don't know Remnant's laws. Age of consent could be anything from 14 to 18 (or like the United States, 16 to 18)

At RTX, they confirmed that Volume 4 takes place after a 6 to 8 month Time Skip after Volume 3.
Also:
"Jaune has stubble, and Ruby's hair is longer."
I have stubble if I don't shave in two days.
Jaune is 17. The fact that he (and every other male student) had a hairless baby face is very unusual
Also, Ruby's hair is just barely longer. If her hair was Yang's length, then I could understand your comment, but it went from "slightly longer than short" to "not yet shoulder-length"

I'm starting to hate these people for having offices in Austin, Texas.
I have stubble if I don't shave in two days.
Before you mentioned RTX, I thought that was what you were basing it on.
I find it hard to believe it took Team RNJR six months just to get to Mistral in a world where children can leap across collapsing bridges and airships are a thing, the trailer had to be at an even later point.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The Pokemon way would include abilities like surf, the naval portion of their journey should've been a breeze!
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Dude, Vale is on a different continent than Mistral, separated by an ocean, and they likely are walking there.
Yes, six to eight months to get to another continent is very believable.

Uhh... Yeah they do? Remnant doesn't have the CCT anymore, but everything else still works

Being able to jump across buildings...or anything similar doesn't really help them travel faster to a distant place. They're pacing, save strength, combat any enemies along the way.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I can almost guarantee there are people in real life who have crossed continents and oceans in less time than that.
Without the benefit of superhuman abilities and magitech. And Team RNJR has both.
They could be hoofing it, not hitchiking, not using any transportation, pacing themselves - but in addition to making that many assumptions, why would they? Ruby has healed up, they're all in decent enough shape physically - and they're going after an objective. On top of all those things, Ruby left home without telling her father, so more than likely she'd want to get out of dodge before he or Qrow manage to catch up.
The only two ways I see that making sense is if there's a large amount of Grimm, forcing them to hoof it Walking Dead-style and avoid hordes, or if Jaune is slowing down the group by lieu of not having incredibly awesome powers. Ren is slowing them down in lieu of not having much stamina.
