Oh god, that's horrible

The way I see it. Panels like that are of fans to cerebrate the show and get hints on whats coming next.People want to have fun.And bringing up topics like that tend to have the opposite effect.
So I kind of get why people went all 'don't bring that shit up'

They're still actively ignoring perfectly valid criticism and enforcing their own little echo chamber where no one is allowed to dislike them.
At the very least, they should've at least tried to justify it instead of actively insulting and encouraging the insulting of those of us who are dissatisfied.
It's not a valid criticism when every member of RT connected to RWBY said that Pyrrha's death was planned before almost everything.
That's like people complaining about, gee, I dunno, the ending to Lord of the Rings or something like that.
Honestly, that's something I vehemently disagree with. Fan critics can criticize all they want, sometimes their criticisms are good and will be acknowledged by the creators, but most of the time, their criticisms are often pointless and focusing on one aspect of something

They're saying get over it basically?
Even if some critics don't like it, at least she went out in a blaze of glory...like a troo amazon would.
The satisfaction is that she didn't get one shot in her battle...unlike Black and Yang.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I mean they could easily say something like "Pyrrha's character and death mean far more than just one thing as you'll see as the show goes on." Instead of "Screw you we write our show how we like and it is great!" and then encouraging everyone to mock and insult people that criticize them.

That's my main issue with this. They're acting incredibly unprofessional and seem to be actively encouraging toxic behavior in their fans towards anyone who dares to question them and the direction they take the story. And That's Terrible.
This is the Internet. We're always doing this.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! While complaining isn't the best thing i would do, if what are saying about the RT team is true, then he kinda has a point
Uni catI'd say the fanbase sees Volume 3 as flawless while the previous 2 volumes have always tended to get varying levels of criticism. I rarely see anyone criticize the 3rd volume that much. 9/10 outta times I see people talking about it, they're always praising it. Well, more so it's second half when things got dark.
Also, I've gotten sick of jokes about Yang's Arm and Pyrrha being nothing but ashes. Feels like the fans haven't just rammed it into the ground, but rammed it so hard, it's all the way in China now.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Yeah, my main complaint about Volume 3 is it was very clearly You Can't Thwart Stage One. Like, I would have liked some fucking up of the plan, even if it was minor shit, aside from the Silver Eyes thing (though that was awesome because we ''finally' got an emotion out of Cinder aside from "smug")

I wouldn't say that Volume 3 isn't criticised. The tournament fights at the beginning of the volume tend to have varying levels of criticism, both at the time the episodes were coming out and ever since. There's been the complaint that Cinder was too untouchable and the protagonists and teachers weren't allowed to learn anything because You Can't Thwart Stage One. Also, the dark turn receives varying levels of criticism including: it turned dark too fast and too abruptly, that it got too dark, and that there shouldn't be any darkness and the light-hearted comedy of the first two volumes is all the show should do.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.![]()
They all had the "best" intro theme?
Most of the time I hear people talk about Volume 3, it's usually singing the praises of it's second half. Beyond introducing Winter and Qrow who both tend to come off like they're fan favorites as well as some people talking about Neon(No one seems to remember her partner, it seems), the first half doesn't seem to get as much recognition.
The RWBY reddit is where I see a lot of people praising the dark 2nd half. I've seen some people outside of their praise that half as well(Including here). Like I said, rarely hear people criticize the second half. And if I do, it tends to not be that often and it's usually ignored.
@Soble Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

That depends entirely on how much they milk it with Jaune come Volume 4, but yea its kinda hard not see that was their intention with Pyrrha's character.
I will never not be amazed by how much buzz this series got because of Volume 3; before airing, I felt it was relatively known, but still pretty niche. Then suddenly Volume 3 comes, kills off fan favorites and maims protagonists and suddenly its one of the hottest topics ever. I love shit like this.
Anyway, Volume 3 has its fair share of issues just like the previous two volumes, its just that the Holy Shit Quotient was so high in the second half that those issues are generally overlooked because of just how shit went down compared to before.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So those early fight scenes in season book 3 are still bad...less than decent, but people just don't care now?
