Is it true that in the RWBY panel they made fun of Pyrrha? The YMMV says so
I'm starting to notice that Pyrrha may have transformed from The Ace to Butt-Monkey
Aaaaaaaaaanywhoo:
The reason why people (including the creators) are supporting Bumblebee:
- Yang and Blake are hot, therefore, shipping the hot characters = more hot
- Yang and Blake's relationship actually IS progressing towards a relationship. Not everyone who end up in relationships have a "friends to close friends to romantic partners" thing. Some people have to work at it, and work out both member's problems.
- Also, having Blake/Yang consistently talk and have development towards a relationship would cut time away from the rest of the show. Now, if RWBY had longer episodes (like 30 minutes each) I could understand, but each episode is, on average, only 12 minutes. Like, if there was to be a large scene dedicated to having Yang/Blake talk and go towards a relationship, the entire episode would be that and people would complain about "overdoing the gay".
Although, I have to admit, despite Prany's posts having terrible grammar, I do agree with the Sun thing. Honestly, I think Sun would be a total bro about it, he strikes as that kind of guy.
Having them talk consistently would be bad. It is also bad that they don't talk at all. I'm not asking much. Look at Ruby and Weiss or Sun and Neptune. They don't gobble up entire screentime, but, with what they've got, is enough to establish chemistry. If RT would suddenly make them gay, I wouldn't mind one bit.
When it comes to interections, Bumblebee got barely more than squat. I really hope RT are going to rectify it, if canonizing that is their goal.

Honestly, having 9-11 minutes of a 15-minute episode dedicated to Blake/Yang work out their relationship wouldn't be that bad so long as the episode was placed after one with a lot of action.
And now for your friendly, pointless reminder that I continue to sail proudly aboard the S.S. White Rose.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!![]()
You say that, but people would still complain.
Qrow/Winter: Slap-Slap-Kiss and Destructo-Nookie
Checkmate/Monochrome is my favorite because it's LITERALLY Dating What Daddy Hates as a ship

Will rooster teeth upload the trailer themselves after RTX?
Because the link to the trailer in this thread was taken down.
Watch SymphogearAll this talk about shipping and the only thing I care about is how many new Grimm we're going to get :V
On Bumblebee; I honestly don't care either way if its canon or not, but my main issue are fans harassing the actors and creators on making it canon, just to satisfy "representation". Shit like that has a habit of overshadowing pretty much everything else about the series.
I'd rather care about Blake and Yang as individual characters first and accessories to a pairing second.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. They didn't make fun of Pyrrha as much as totally dismiss the critics on tumblr saying that Pyrrha died for Jaune's mainpain only saying they'll write their show how they want without taking stuff like that into consideration, and the audience basically wanting to lynch the guy that brought it up.
On one hand....yeah tumblr critics should probably be ignored. But on the other it seems like the RTX crowd views RWBY as a flawless masterpiece and wants to stab anyone that suggests otherwise, when the show has clearly got some actual flaws.
But considering the number of cosplayers at RTX that were actively poking fun at the death and gloom of Vol 3 I'm guessing the majority of the fanbase doesn't quite take RWBY as seriously as some fans do.

He killed Pyrrha!
