I know the Wicked Witches are a natural comparison, but I have another idea. Given that both Cinder and Adam are the opposite of their sources of inspiration, if we look at an 'opposite' for Salem in the Wizard of Oz, we get Queen Lurline and her daughter - and the Wizard of Oz does have a history there because he gave Queen Lurline's daughter to Mombi, a wicked witch, who transformed the girl into a boy for years so people wouldn't identify the child.
Queen Lurline was the closest thing Oz had to a Mother Goddess. She's practically folklore in Oz and isn't human. Her daughter (half human) was Princess Ozma who was the rightful heir to the throne the Wizard had usurped. Dorothy's group eventually helped restore Princess Ozma to her rightful appearance and throne (the Wizard helped) and Princess Ozma decreed that unregulated magic should be banned - the regulated magic allowed to be used was performed by herself, Glinda and the Wizard (who had trained under Glinda to become a real wizard - turns out he had genuine talent for magic).
Now, once she was sitting on the throne as the queen of Oz, it was Princess Ozma's most determined wish to unite all the different peoples of Oz. She forgave the Wizard for what he'd done in the past, and he was helping her dream (along with Dorothy, Glinda, etc) to see Oz united.
Salem sounds like the exact opposite of Princess Ozma - both in terms of her relationship to Ozpin (she clearly isn't forgiving him any time soon) and her long-term plans for the people of Remnant.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.![]()
Summer is also Salem, which means Dorothy was the wicked witch all along.
with Cinder, I kept saying that if Salem is the fairy goodmother them Ozpin is the "Prince" and the dance is actually being a hunter, she belive in destiny and them saw the "truth" of Ozpin using them for his benefic
Also I kept thinking they are going to adapt the little red hood in this volume: they are in a forest so Ruby is going to find "the wolf"
And again, for me Jaune is going to be burn by Cinder consider the destiny of Joan arc, granted I think his semblence is going to save him but that is another think enterely
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I don't think you need Dust to kill a Grimm, since they can be easily killed with your bare hands (hi, Ren) if you know what you're doing.
Dust is just the be-all end-all electricity of Remnant. I mean, heck, it can't quite be running out yet, in the very first ep there's a Dust shop, for crying out loud.
However, we haven't seen the effects of Roman's mass Dust stealing yet. With Vale being in trouble and CCT being down, Dust prizes might yet jump up...
It'll last conveniently long enough to last throughout our main characters' lives...and maybe even a couple 1000 years more.
Only then will there be DarkestFuture on a Grimm day.
They steal effective lots?

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well yeah, you can kill a Grimm with your bare hands if you're aura is good enough. But I think Dust is the only thing that can be weaponized to kill Grimm to the point where even a mook with little to no Aura can shoot Dust guns to kill them. They did say Humanity was basically helpless against them until they learned to use Dust.
Although speaking of those robberies, yeah that just kind of went nowhere. Was it all for the bombs for the train? It couldn't have been to bribe the White Fang with because Roman was still stealing it after Cinder forced them to join and it wasn't until the dock operation that Cinder decided they had enough.
Also considering how much of their world is unsettled territory there's probably tons of Dust to mine even after their current sources start running low, if they can get around the Grimm.

If it was this thread Pyrrha would be getting the Kenny treatment, Yang would keep losing limbs, and Qrow would be banging Grimms.
This episode of RWBY Chibi was great. I laughed at basically all of it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!It seems like it goes around - Jaune, Weiss, Blake.
Two episodes in and it's giving me that Teen Titans Go vibe. The only part that got me was Ruby going after that ball of yarn.
