Nothing's more interesting than inner conflicts of characters you...are on the positive side of the neutral scale of caring for.
Too bad Penny died, would've liked to know her conflict.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Honestly, I feel that she's going to come back. They wouldn't have shown her father's reaction if she's Killed Off for Real, plus: She's a gynoid and can be easily repaired. In all honesty, she's more likely in a coma than "dead"
Maybe they have her personality backed up for that specific possibility.
Can never be too careful.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'd say the biggest point to Penny coming back is that her big moment, the Vol 1 finale, wasn't supposed to happen. Monty just threw it in there for the hell of it last minute.
That would mean Penny's only originally planned action scene was the one right before she died, which is unusual especially when the other two character that died got plenty of fight scenes throughout the 3 Volumes.
Not sure of the justification for keeping Sun's example under Would Hit a Girl. Yes, the scene was hilarious - but that's what the sugar wiki is for. It's not like we've got Neptune being willing to torture the girls by electrocuting them in water under the trope as an example (his only objection was his phobia, not what would happen to the girls).
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Speaking of funny, not sure if this would work as an entry for the Funny section, but anyone else find it hilarious that the guy who's other most well-known role is the Idiot Savant Caboose is playing, essentially, the smartest character in RWBY?

It occurs to me that despite Blake's "You had to fight to survive" childhood, she spent most of her White Fang time as a peaceful protester. Fighting was never her first choice. Even as they descended into a terrorist organization, while Blake would engage in theft and sabotage, she drew the line at willfully hurting others.
Coupled with the fact that when push comes to shove she's admitted that "Flight" takes precedent over "Fight" in her personality, I can see why Blake is generally not as an effective Huntress as the others; her heart's just not in it.
Is that why she fights with a whip?

She's better than Ren?

Given the dark tone this series took, it would be awesome if Ren uses the technique as a part of Mutual Kill.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.

However, I think we can leave the entry regarding it with Cardin in RWBY Beacon Academy. Or move it to The Bully or something.
Also, the entry for Sun can stay because it mentions the series status as well as pointing out the sheer over-the-top nature of that flying kick to Octavia's face. Plus, the image that's linked in it is kind of hilarious
