Ha! Now I can't unsee team RWBY and Zwei as the Mystery Inc. gang.
Thanks for that, seriously. Yang would be Freddie since she also has an orange scarf/ascot. Weiss will be Daphne, Blake is Velma... and of course it's obvious who's Shaggy and Scooby here.
Or perhaps keep things a bit more accurate by having Team JNPR as them instead?
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.I will admit I am curious about some of Monty's original ideas. I saw a few people in the thread bring up Lucas as an example of "not everything the creator thinks is a good idea". I'm not saying Monty had ideas as dumb as Lucas', but I doubt everything the man thought up for the show was absolutely brilliant.
In a weird way, I'm at least a little thankful that Jaune didn't end up playing a part in Pyrrha's death, even if it was on accident. I can only imagine that the fans would never let that down ever.

My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Speaking of death, it said that having Neo's umbrella going poof which implies her survival was not part of the original idea. Guess she was supposed to die too. Oh, man, I wonder if Ruby delivered the killing blow?
I mean, a 15 year old taking a life... that's just messed up. But in the world of Remnant, that kind of thing will happen if you're a hunter/huntress. Character development scene, right there.
Still, I'm curious; say the FNDM isn't as salty as they are with Jaune (a goddamn miracle) and the original draft happened with him causing Pyrrha's death—most likely accidental or he was caught off guard—will this scene actually work or it was one of the good calls RT made for the story?

I think killing Neo in V3 would be a pretty bad idea since we still know very little about her. Having Ruby kill her could be an interesting idea, but not something that should've happened in V3.

x4 A human life?
They should expect it to happen and treat it like an obstacle to overcome before ever deciding to take up the task.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Public version? Cool.
Again, say the original draft of Jaune causing Pyrrha's death—accidental most likely—did happened and if the FNDM aren't as salty as they are with him... will it work well, or was it a good call to change it?
And yes, I meant human/faunus life. I think it's obviously clear that everybody in Remnant knows that the Grimm are too dangerous to let live.

But on your earlier suggestion of JNPR being the Scooby gang?
Maybe in Chibi they can be!
That's right. I would accept the death we got versus Jaune screwing up, which would make me hate him more for not only ignoring her feelings but killing her too.

You can't get it wrong if it's the truth! But wouldn't it fit with Pyrrha's Greek Tragedy thing? She died protecting the man she loved and stuff.
It can also be shown as a hard lesson for Jaune. All the training they did together... for naught. How he handles that will shape him for future episodes. And considering the theme of "small light in the vast darkness" the show has, I think he'll get better.
Or I could just write a fanfic about it.

x4 There's a way to do that and still make her seem "cool"...it just wouldn't fly for the tone they were going with, also a lot of complaining either way.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Okay, I guess Jaune causing Pyrrha's death—accidental or otherwise—will most likely be a bad, BAD, idea.
But him witnessing it is something I really like... also, he and Qrow could help Ruby off the tower or something... Dude, imagine a scene of him defending an unconscious Ruby after her Silver Eyes power awakened and we get to see his semblance in action!

Let's split up and look for clues, gang!
