Killing characters for the sake of killing them is the problem in writing. If character death is a planned, integral part of the storyline (as in, there's a specific reason for the death to occur), that's probably a different matter - the issue then is whether or not the death (and consequences!) is written well or badly.
I don't see Pyrrha's death as being an example of encouraging people to take the risks of the show seriously. To me, the point of Pyrrha's death was to awaken Ruby's powers. The question is, is there a reason why Ruby's powers can only be unlocked through something so deeply emotional, or is that the case for all power (Jaune's Aura had to be unlocked, suggesting his power wasn't easily accessible either)?

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Maybe if they collect those scattered ashes, they could somehow...bring Gladiator back to life.
Tales of the afterlife.
Why wouldn't it be? After she helped him and opened up to him...and other things.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Pyrrha was a poor catalyst for Ruby. If it were Weiss or Yang or Jaune himself then yeah that would make sense, as they were very important to her. They'd barely interacted for the show. She was a friend yeah but they weren't that close. If anything it should have been Penny but that didn't do it for Ruby for some reason.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I think Ruby's awakening could be seen this way:
Firstly she was smacked around by Mercury, ultimately failing to save Penny on time. Then the Grimm invasion comes, she gets into the main ship and she gets smacked around by Roman some more. Then she is called by Jaune and he tells her that Pyrrha is in danger and she also fails to save her and she watch as Cinder gruesomely executes her.
And that happened on Roughly the same night. So it's understandable why she awakened her hidden eye powers
Uni catSo I should support their stupid practices? That I should make something what I would otherwise have no intention of doing? That I should create an account I would do absolutely nothing with and probably forget I even have that so I might possibly end up creating another?
Nah, screw this crap.
Only sometimes postsHonestly, the only way for Pyrrha to come back would be if she was on team RWBY, but she's not, soo... Yeah.
Just have your browser save your password. Problem solved.
Also, I'd like to point out that, in the time you've spent typing these posts, you could have made an account and watched it several times over.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Pyrrha will come back as *insert random theory*
Honestly, i'm more interested to learn her background. You know, in order to understand why she is a Broken Ace
Uni cat

That's why you introduce new characters and are picky about who you kill.
