If efforts to stop the racist, Adam the Edgelord becomes worse than the racist.
Therefore he becomes a hypocrite, hopefully when he eventually dies...there's a small comedic moment where someone puts a Donkey mask over his face.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. When the minion doesn't know anything and has no reason to stay, it's bad writing.
If they do know and then turn anyway even though they had no reason to leave, it's bad writing.
If they don't know all the details, just enough so they have a reason to join the cause because of naivety...then it's a safe spot.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Honestly, I really hope Mercury stays evil. I've never seen Yuri Lowenthal in a villainous role before and he does it really well.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I think Mistral is pretty ok with Faunus actually. Sun is from there right? And he seems to be treated well and doesn't seem to have the inherent mistrust of humans that many other Faunus even Blake have. He's proud of what he is and dislikes the White Fang for speaking for him on fighting a fight with humans.
Atlas seems to be the major anti Faunus nation. Then again Neon is from there and she doesn't seem to be too oppressed so....
Wow they really need to be better about this Faunus rights thing.

It's hard to say what's up with Neon and Flynt and co. They don't seem like part of the Atlas military, given the lack of uniforms and attitude, and while they might be from Atlas, I don't think they necessarily needed to be part of the academy to participate in the tournament.
If by Pyrrha you mean Roman, I pretty much agree. Pyrrha is the sort of character (The Ace) who either has to die or be Put on a Bus; overstaying her welcome would quickly make her feel and look like a Mary Sue.

That death wasn't dark, it was a mercy kill.
Completely painless.

Nope, in his own word, he want "to give mankind the justice so rightstly deserve" he want the human GONE, kaput, NOPE them into oblivion, he dosent belive in equality at all so one them have to go.
"I refuse to believe that she was not aware of what Cinder's plan entails."

Nope, Sasuke is not a douche, just workship his brother when he shoudnt

Doing that is a quick way to end up being Rewarded as a Traitor Deserves, which is generally what happens in real life to somebody with Chronic Backstabbing Disorder, albeit not necessarily in lethal fashion.

I don't think Adam's a rapist, nor do I think the show would go that way. But WOG explicitly says his relationship with Blake was abusive (which I'm taking as emotional abuse, since she doesn't react at all to him as you'd expect from physical abuse and sexual abuse is a no-go), and that Blake's good memories of him were just rose-colored glasses. They also say we'll hate him even more when we see more of him.
I'm not at all opposed to the idea of him being more layered, but what I wish will happen and what I think will happen are two different things. They've taken pains to portray him as exactly what the fandom seems to consider him to be (minus the edgelordness) — an unstable, racist, creepy yandere. There's many kinds of evil that can be redeemed later on, but the fact that they've made him such a human kind of evil (ironically?) suggests to me that he won't. Hardly anyone in the audience is likely to have experience with murdering psychopaths or militant racists. Abusive ex boyfriends, though, is a whole 'nother deal.
Never liked Roman so I couldn't care less about him.
Pyrrha on the other hand had so much potential. They didn't have to kill her off. They could have had her go through something in Volume 4, or even let her be the new Fall Maiden and have her deal with the reality that she is almost a demigoddess while trying to remain human.
She really kicked some serious ass in that fight and she should have won. Hell, Ozpin could have beaten her.
What the hell happened to him?
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth! The thing with Emerald and Mercury is that we think we have them figured out (Emerald still has a heart despite her claims, Mercury is a stone cold sociopath) but they said in the commentary that Mercury is more sympathetic than we think and while the fanbase things they've figured out where they stand they might be wrong.
There's relaly only one way to interpret that, and that's that Emerald will remain evil while Merc might turn around as odd as they seems.

Also there is kind of thing a fandom can forgive, in this post 2010 age, having a absuive chararter get forgiven is a HUGE NO and if bumblebee is canon(which I think it will) them Adam fate get seal as the creppy abuser.
"Never liked Roman so I couldn't care less about him."
YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!
" let her be the new Fall Maiden and have her deal with the reality that she is almost a demigoddess while trying to remain human."
So....make her superman? god not, her fate was to die, she chose to do so in her own term, is the best we can go
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Of the two, I'd definitely say Mercury is more sympathetic, though that's not a super high bar. From what we've seen, a childhood of abuse and being raised as and by a killer turned Mercury into something of a sociopath, in that he seems to enjoy the suffering of others, but more in a Blood Knight way than in a "torturing puppies" way. On the other hand, Emerald grew up on the streets and seems to have latched on to Cinder as the first person who ever gave her the time of day, but she's more petty and mean-spirited in a personal way than Mercury is. More malicious, I'd say.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.By that point, we'd be much further into the story and those them being that powerful is A OK. Especially since the villains will have also undoubtedly gotten even stronger.

He's pretty much been Faunus Magneto from the start. It's not just about his waifu leaving him, but he also wants Faunus superiority. Not just equal rights but actively crushing the humans and taking over as the head dog on the planet.
At least that what I gathered from his rants. He probably lost people close to him due to humans being dicks too. But like with Merc Em and Cinder it all boils down to just because some people hurt you in the past because of a flawed system, doesn't give you a moral pass to slaugther people wholesale.
