Pyrrha: My secret semblance is the ability to turn into dust! Isn't that awesome?

A fake out is what happened with Ironwood, though perhaps a bit more convincing, ie what people hoped would happen with Torchwick. Disintegration...Isn't very likely to be reversed barring Time Travel or magical resurrection.

Yeah, no, that would honestly be really stupid. Even if characters do end up coming back, Pyrrha is not going to be one of them, in all likelihood.
Of the characters who've died so far, Penny is the only one who seems only likely to return, and that might come in the form of a new "Penny" being build from whole cloth to replace the old ones, memories optional.

That's a Teen Titans scenario...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.INB4 a legend of a "Phoenix Warrior" happens and Pyrrha is a descendant of that same person
That's the only way i can see it happening

Not really? There's certain character archetypes that very rarely are resurrected, because it invariably feels cheap whenever its attempted, and Pyrrha fits several of them. Moreover, as Penny seems incredibly unlikely to stay dead, resurrecting both of them would totally undermine the Nothing Is the Same Anymore outcome of Volume 3. I'm not even sure they should bring back Penny outside of a scenario where a completely new robot is built and implanted with backup memories, and even in that scenario, there's a need to at least lampshade the existential crisis that would cause Penny 2.0.

But imagine this: Jaune's finally moved on and has accepted Pyrrah's death and has started a relationship with Ruby. Then suddenly his past (in this case Pyrrah) comes back to haunt him. On top of that he learns that Yang's his sister and all this time he's been dating his half sister/cousin. And she won't automatically rejoin the team after a few episodes. She stays brainwashed for at least a couple of volumes

Why the fuck would he actually be Yang's sister? There's no reason for that to be the case other than to forcibly break up Lancaster, which would be a cop out from the drama that would inevitably arise from a scenario where Pyrrha returns after Jaune and Ruby have ended up in a relationship.

But ruby isn't Taiyang's daughter
And the thing with both Taiyang and Jaune looking similar might be more in a metaphorical sense. Like history repeats or something like that
Uni cat Jaune is actually a relative of Minato Namikaze; they both got with a "sexy" redhead, Pyrrha for like a minute and possibly Ruby for much longer, and they're both giant dorks that have leader qualities.

And Jaune doesn't look all that much like Taiyang. The similarity in appearance is about as strong as between Ruby and Qrow.

If Taiyang is related to Jaune (and that's even more of a reach than Qrow being Ruby's actual father), Raven definitely isn't his mother. At best, Taiyang could be his uncle or something, or father by another women (at which point we can conclude that he really got around). That's still not a blood relationship.

My own theory is that she's at least tangentially related to the Emperor/Empress of Mistral, which would, in my vision of how the show could proceed, be a Fantasy Counterpart Culture of the late (1300s) Byzantine Empire, because that's a severely neglected period of Greek history in terms of the love it gets in fiction, and because a Land of One City with nearly unbreakable, though venerable fortifications which is a mere shadow of an empire that once dominated the western world is something that works very well in the setting.
One: how do you know he's not around the same age,
Two: In some countries, she's over the age of consent.
Three: It's fiction, come back when this applies to a real person.
Four: This is something that could happen a fair bit into the future, who knows how old the characters will be by then.

Maybe Pyrrah's death was a fake out
