Dammit Tucker, get back over to RvB. You're not a RWBY voice actor yet.
Tucker, from Red Vs Blue, says it when ever someone says something that could be taken inappropriately.

It's the sound of a Dog Faunus who's getting aroused.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That is improvement, no?
Less blood, more smile.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Got back about an hour ago from the RWBY Volume 1 showing in my city. I missed the very start of it because I didn't know where the cinema was (I came in right before the first shot of Ruby) but I can always rewatch that on Bluray. Here are my thoughts:
- It translated alright to the big screen. At the start with the first fight scene it made the roughness of the animation stand out and occassionaly when they did close ups you can tell it was being played at a resolution higher than intended, but once they got to the airship at the end of the first episode things to smoother.
- This version ran like the bluray movie cut did but they added in the intro sequence which I'm 99% sure was not in the bluray. It makes sense though seeing as they had the RWBY Chibi short right at the end (noting I have no idea what I missed at the start before the opening narration)
- It's so good rewatching it and seeing things again now that I've finished volume 3. Little details (when Cinder is blocking Ruby's shots the flashes of light cast her shadow behind her), foreshadowing ("You have....silver eyes" might be all we got, but it's obvious that was the plan from the start once you know it), thoughts on character details (even without his obvious lack of knowledge you can tell Jaune is out of his depth by the fact that he is just wearing a hoodie under his armour)
- Having listened to the RWBY soundtracks so much since first watching the credits I was surprised when I realised that "Wings" was cut down for these ones. Obviously to start with they had a smaller team to credit.
- I heart Penny and hope she returns.
- I do love how Ozpin clearly knows Jaune is faking his transcripts (his little sound when Glynda says she doesn't think he's ready for that level of combat on top of him being Ozpin), but is letting him prove himself. Plus how it seems like he's enjoying himself when Jaune is asking about the landing strategy.
- It's kind of telling about the world that the entrance exam is a life-or-death struggle where the teachers won't step in to help you, and the first class on the first day ends with a duel with a monster. They don't pull their punches.
And finally, the RWBY Chibi teaser. We got a few cute shorts that showed how things would go; barely any dialogue (it was four shorts in before they started using their words), so far it was all based around simple concepts, but overall it was cute and enjoyable.
Oh, wait! Is RWBY Chibi based off of that one fic where Ruby (and the others over time) come to life in chibi form in Monty's office?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Kind of exactly what I expected. Ugh.
Basically like Haruhi-chan.
Visual Pun + Slapstick = Barely any dialogue...yeah: (U-U)

Yeah, I can understand Yang's anger and confusion. Imagine your friend just asking out of nowhere to warm her robot. Warming robots is hard work. You need two arms at least.
