Except that didn't happen with Neon or Adam.
Maybe I should have rephrase my response. When Junior pulled out some of her hair Yang stop punching him and decided to go straight to the "kill shot". So it wasn't a matter of her getting stronger, just how she directed it. Like what happen against the Paladin her strength didn't change, only where she hit it.
So while it is true Yang is a berserker, she's also a blood knight.

She used her Semblance against the Palli.
With Junior, well... I'd be hesitant how much to lean on the trailers for feats.
Her eyes turn red for Neo, right? And Blood Mary Poppins wiped the floor with her.
Ya, I don't think she's gets Barbarian Rage.
The thing is, whatever her power-up is, it is easily dealt with if you're strong or smart enough to know what to do.
Junior was probably bound to lose, he just happened to get a few hits on her. Neo went an entire fight without losing so much as a strand of hair due to her agility and Adam is just that powerful to stop her dead with a single strike.
Thing is every strike of adam capable of bypassing aura or he have to be a very focus moment?
Because funny enought he act like a matador in that moment, waiting until the bull atack full of rage and them go for strike.....and yes the bull is yang
She has red eyes like a bull, the connection makes sense.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yang's firey mode is supposed to activate when she's damaged enough, but sometimes it just activates when she's angry even if she yet to take a hit (like against Adam, not that it helped). However Neon had her in rage constantly but it didn't kick in until she was damaged enough so yeah, they can't seem to decide.
Speaking of which they also have varied on whether Adam needs to block hits to get his super slash going or just charge it up. Regardless though the reason Yang lost so badly was because she ran into him just as he had one ready to go and didn't know it was coming. The "buy me time" in the Black Trailer means he can't just spam then whenever. Without it, he's good but not a totally unstoppable engine of destruction. So they'd need to either not give him time to charge, or not hit his sword, and if he's ready to unleash that attack, to keep their distance.

Well...do recall that Word of God is that Yang's Semblance is like the Super Meter in one of the Street Fighter games; you can use up the Super Meter to power up your specials, but the effect is weaker when it isn't completely filled. It's possible that Yang can actually use her Semblance no matter how much damage she's taken, with the effect increasing the more she takes. That possibly means that a) her Semblance is actually a fixed boost at each "level", and isn't linearly proportional to the damage she's taken, and b) it's more based on how much Aura she's lost/has, and not the amount of damage in and of itself.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!![]()
Issue is, he dosent seen to need time to prepare to atack since the span between Yang seen him and him atacking is VERY short and ether way, Ruby and Yang are very close combat, so is Ren and Nora. meaing Adam could have easy if they fight him.

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Well he does, because in the Black Trailer he did. He probably just had one ready by the time Yang showed up and used it on her (maybe fueled by the blows his weapon took from Blake). And after that he went to kill Blake with a regular strike instead of just tossing another red slash to take them both out at once. So it doesn't seem like he can just casually toss that around whenever.
People think they might be half siblings, with Adam as another child of Raven. And that's why their abilities are so similar, if not the same and Adam just learned to use it by taking hits with a weapon instead of himself.
Which is also why Adam dresses alot like Raven and had a similar fighting style.
RWBY needs some damn consistency. Or a guide book.
I wonder if Adam needs to resheath Wilt in order to use Moonslice. If that's the case, all one needs to do is swipe Blush.
Of course, doing that would probably be an achievement all unto itself.

We just talked at length about how no one can quite seem to figure out of Yang's semblance works by absorbing hits, or is fueled by her anger, or some combination of both, or what exactly.
RWBY is fueled by Rule of Cool, which means things that have been established in the past can and will be discarded if the alternative is more awesome. It's stylish as all hell, but strict adherence to consistency is not one of its strong points.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. The wording from Yang and Word of God on Yang's semblance implies it's both, like The Incredible Hulk
I think Miles and Kerry said they don't adhere to strict rules in fights regarding power and such (except in extreme cases with stuff like Maiden power) instead focusing on cool and what the plot needs to happen which is how you get Roman easily taking out Sun and Blake at the same time, and then oneshoting Ruby when she showed up, but then getting beaten by Blake alone, but then handing Ruby her ass again.
Which probably means once it's time for the plot to have the villains start losing again all of sudden the heroes will suddenly become more competent without explaination.
Roman was blindsided by Blake using dust clones.
They do try to adhere to particular rules.Such is Yang's use of her semblance as a Instant win button.Wesis's squishy wizard stats.Rens low stamina.Janue's rookieness etc.
Although admittingly the are a couple headscratchers.

People keep mentioning all these instances of Word of God, and I'm just sitting here wanting to see the sources.

Yes, that is true.
It's too bad her lack of experience got her owned.
