I kinda disagree with this. In straight fight, I don't see how he'd beat Ozpin or Glynda. There's no way he wouldn't struggle against Qrow or Winter. Hell, if she played her cards right, Weiss might be able to handle him as well.

The only times we've seen Adam fight so far weren't even fights. He defeats Yang in a Single-Stroke Battle despite her being in a full-on Unstoppable Rage (and thus at the peak of her power — we've seen before that Yang gets more effective as she gets angrier), and Blake doesn't fare much better.
We have no reference for how powerful he actually is, except to know that he completely outclasses Yang and Blake (and by extension, basically everyone short of Crow and the like — and we haven't seen how he'd fare against someone that strong). He's presumably not as strong as half-Fall'd Cinder (given that he agreed to join her after she returned and threatened him into it), but we don't have a good handle on how half-Fall'd Cinder would do against Crow-tier opponents either, so that's sort of a wash.
The point is, the main protagonists have absolutely no chance of beating him, which makes his presence kill drama rather than cause it.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.![]()
Blind Rage not necessarily unstoppable...
That don't mean squat against a Sword weeder.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. From a storytelling side I like Adam: he's legitimately threatening and has potential to be a good rival for bumblebee (the characters not the ship)
However emotionally: I HATE ADAM AND I HOPE RWBY CUTS OUT HIS INTESTINES AND PLAYS DOUBLE DUTCH WITH THEM!!!!
Cut off one head 2 more shall take it's place! Hail Hydra![]()

She would've had her arm "longer"...maybe.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Guns are concussive in this universe for some reason.
Also the logic of the fictional world doesn't matter...Sword vs. Fist is still uneven match pairing. The Sword is going to win most of the time.
Unless some Bullpuck is in play or the character's reaction time is on point all the friggin' time...there's no denial.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. This is RWBY, that matter very little...what it matter is that he can bypass aura, which as jovian said, he can butcher all the student chararter with easy, that is what may this match uneven.
Now, I like Adam, his desing, line and even theme song sound as over the top edgy as posible(really le look like someone who saw the matrix to many times) and yet he HAS the skill to back up his look, he kind fight for a good cause but is a violent asshole, is a intersting villian and all around badass
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Aura protects people, giving them double durability.
Hmm, that probably shouldn't protect against swords, but that appears to be the case.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. In other news, I sort of realized that I'd been unconsciously sorting characters by "power level" and basing a lot of my commentary on that, but hadn't made it explicit. So here we go on that.
- Civilian tier: Random nobodies with no combat ability to speak of. They automatically lose to everyone and everything.
- Mook tier: faceless goons and red shirts, both good guys and bad. White Fang minions, rank-and-file soldiers, the combat androids. They can beat basic grimm (beowolves and the like) in a normal fight, but lose if they're at a disadvantage (ambushed, outnumbered, etc) or in a straight fight against stronger grimm (like ursa).
- Trainee tier: The average Huntsman or Huntress in training. People like Team CRDL and Jaune. Can beat things like ursa and those boars, but lose to boss-tier grimm like deathstalkers and giant nevermores.
- Advanced trainee tier: the more powerful trainees, like the entirety of Teams RWBY and CFVY. Can beat ursa and boars even at a disadvantage, but need an advantage to beat boss-tier grimm.
- Hunter tier: The average Huntsman or Huntress. People like
ProfessorDoctor Whatshisname and the other Huntsman teacher we see. I'm willing to bet that they could solo boss-tier grimm (though we haven't actually seen it), but would lose to kaiju-tier grimm (like those giant evil elephants). - Headmaster tier: The most powerful Huntsmen and Huntresses we've seen. Crow, Winter, Ironwood, Ozpin, etc. Again, we haven't seen it, but I'd bet that they could take on boss-tier grimm even at a disadvantage or solo a kaiju-tier.
- Maiden tier: Stronger even than the headmasters. Harder to quantify since we've only seen like two fights involving them, but it seems that it takes a headmaster-tier opponent with an advantage to beat them. In terms of grimm, roughly equal with the dragon, I guess? Maybe?
For the record, I'd put Emerald and Mercury at Hunter tier (they can beat advanced trainees consistently, but would likely struggle with stronger opponents), with pre-powerup Cinder at low Headmaster tier (she'd definitely beat a normal hunter, but definitely lose to someone like Crow or Ozpin). Their fight against Fall was close, but they had the advantage of both an ambush and superior numbers, so they managed to beat her, but couldn't have taken her and Crow (which is why they run when he shows up). Half-Fall Cinder is high Headmaster tier — I'd bet on her over Winter or Ironwood, but against Ozpin or Crow is much more dicey. (I'd also put Adam at solid Headmaster — pre-powerup Cinder loses to him, but half-Fall Cinder wins against him.)
Yes, these rankings are overthinking and fairly arbitrary. Yes, I'm doing it anyway. Oh well.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.

At this point, Adam's a Hopeless Boss Fight. Eventually, someone will be powerful enough to knock him down a peg. Hopefully Blake, in a big display of Look What I Can Do Now!.
