Yeah, no. the only way I would see Grimm being "good" is if they have an Enemy Mine situation with the heroes. You know, like they figure that if they help the heroes out, it would be better for them than just killing them.
The Grimm need humans to actually exist, so if say, there was some kind of force trying to kill all humans, the Grimm are more likely to attack them.
That feels contradictory; it always seemed like Grimm are made to extinguish all human life.
Though I can imagine an Enemy Mine situation with the villains that would explain how the heck did Adam get Ursas on his airships.
It wasn't that they realize that attack humans is pointless, it's that they realize attacking a few humans is pointless if it just means a whole bunch are going to come and kill them. When they had an opportunity to cause mass death and destruction with relatively little chance at getting killed they jumped at it.
To whoever mentioned Asami and Korra, relationships shouldn't happen the way there's did and hopefully most people don't expect it to.
Edit:
The Grimm predate people, they couldn't have been made specifically for killing them all.

I think I figured out how they got the Ursa onto the airship. Remember that red tree sap from "Forever Fall"? The ursa went after Cardin since he had the tree sap on him. There are probably other means of luring the various Grimm to do stuff for you. Or you could just call in the freaking Grimm-whisperer Cinder.
By the way, I really like how they handled Penny's "death". The fact that none of the characters reacted like it wasn't a horrible thing to happen, did wonders for it.
I had a slight worry that they were going to use that as the drama for the big finale because she was a robot and thus wouldn't really "count" because she could just be rebuild, but the last two episodes made that a non-issue.

Biggest secret in Remnant: Ozpin's abs slay everyone. Reason Salem turned evil is because he quit his Chippendale career and now shows as little skin as possible. Biggest. Mistake. Ever.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.
Disproportionate Retribution much?
Watch as our requests for Penny to return have Gone Horribly Right, mass produced Pennys.
I kind of want to see an Upgrade vs. Prototype Fight involving Penny.
The inverse is Penny's original body being reconstructed into what is essentially Omega
A corpse should be left well enough alone...This thread is leaping 10's of pages even though there hasn't been any plot-relevant news. Nothing like this after Volumes 1 and 2, I can't tell if that means they did alright giving us more to speculate over, or bad for leaving so much vague we have to speculate on it so much.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!

I mean they did say that if Grimm live long enough they'll eventually realize attacking humans is mostly pointless and will stop unless provoked.
