Ugh... Not this crap again... Blake isn't "weak." She's just going about this fighting business all wrong. She's a rogue, not a fighter class.
You're too squishy, Blake. That Came Out Wrong.

They'd notice when Yatsuhashi speaks. Sage is practically The Voiceless.

What I mean by breather is exploring the fallout of volume 4. If every volume is a wham volume then the twists lose some impact. That's why every first volume should fallout, every second volume should be build up, and every third volume payoff
Cut off one head 2 more shall take it's place! Hail HydraRen has to call Nora to constantly bail them out of trouble.
A more charitable scenario is that they still manage to become friends and the other three help Jaune develop his leadership skills and tactical thinking. Juane's battle instructions would have to lean more towards guile and deception since everyone except maybe Neptune lacks the raw power that people like Nora and Pyrra have. Blake would probably excel in this scenario.
Heh, imagine Blake and Neptune being Jaune's trainers instead of Pyrra.

And this series is a setting where being rogue isn't useful, which does make her weak.
Heck, I'm sure that pretty soon Jaune will be stronger than Blake.
By the way, although I'm not the one who started "Blake can't fight" thing - I simply hopped up to the bandwagon - I AM the one who started "Blake as an unit of strength" thing. I'm fairly proud of it. ![]()

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Do people forget that Jaune tackled an ursa last volume? Head on?
It's almost a Running Gag. Jaune fucks up an Ursa once per volume. I like it!
Uni catFTFY
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

Now, now, Blake is worth something. I mean, who'd watch a show called RWY?
Huh. Thought exercise: Switch one team member with one member of another team.
