[After something horrifying happens] What the hell, Miles and Kerry? You're a pair of bastards for this!
I was going to reply to Captain Capsase, but then I got chibi'd.... that's not a good thing.
Why chibis? Can't anything be chibi free? I refuse to converted to the chibi wagon. Refuse!
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. It essentially becomes a RWBY themed Don't Hug Me i'm Scared.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...No. That will never, ever be a thing...

[DATA LOST]
The original RWBY does not have moments like the the team slowly rotting away as they are confronted with the concept of time, Ruby having her brain scrubbed as she's forced into allegiance to a stone head, or Ruby eating the canned organs of Blake.
By that logic, the original RWBY is kind of like Saw, just a bit less.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.![]()
Even still, I can't say I would call RWBY a lighter version of DHMIS' tone. Despite veiling the darker elements, RWBY doesn't do it in the same way DHMIS does it.
Ruby: "Red!"
Yang: "Yellow!"
Weiss: "White!"
Glynda: "White is not a creative colour."

A corpse should be left well enough alone...
Well it kinda was for the first episode. After that, they knew that everyone would expect the twist, so they began being more upfront about it.
A cute, wacky show were NO ONE has to die
@Droy More like, don't wear skimpy clothes or you'll get fucked up

Inb 4 it turns out to be even more Darker and Edgier than the original.
