The other day a weird idea came to mind...
What if a person is either corrupted or is transformed in some way to a Grimm?
I had this weird idea when, for example, someone gets a Grimm arm and as a result, gets transformed into a Beowulf. This character would later learn to control his/her transformation and essentially becomes a Grimmshifter
Would that be pausible?

I agree with you. If we get Pyrrha back, we'll probably regret it.
At this point, I'll accept Pyrrha as either dead, and not coming back, or dead, but visits Jaune as a Force ghost. No Robot!Pyrrha and certainly not Grimm!Pyrrha.
The chances are that Salem is either the origin of the Grimm or this is what has happened to her and she has gained great power over the Grimm as a result (and she entirely blames Ozpin for it - which will turn out to be at least partially true). While I have been expecting a humanoid Grimm since the early days of the show, I'm not sure Salem is that (not in the sense I was thinking anyway), but I do think she controls the Grimm in some way.
Part of why I think Cinder has been completely duped by Salem and doesn't know that she hasn't been given the power she thinks she has is that if that little parasite really is still within in her, then she doesn't actually have the power of the Fall Maiden at all - the beast inside her is what enables her to have it and continue to use it, and that beast does not answer to her will but to Salem's, meaning Cinder is only the Fall Maiden for as long as Salem needs her to be.
Either that parasite is destined to leave Cinder, to bring the Fall Maiden powers to Salem, or that parasite is destined to take over Cinder in a way that would lead her to being akin to Salem (if she ever lived long enough). Either way, it's not Cinder who is in control or who has the power - it's the Grimm inside her, and that Grimm probably answers to Salem. And Cinder doesn't yet know the situation she is in... and it will eventually end horribly for her. Possibly with an epiphany about how truly powerless (and blind to her powerlessness) she had become.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Yes, how dare you for trying to justify changing a character's fate that was decided when the character was made.
Seriously. Pyrrha's fate was always to fall to Cinder to allow Ruby and Jaune the ability to grow as characters. Honestly if Pyrrha hadn't died, the story likely would not have progressed in a good manner. Sometimes, The Hero Dies. And that's not shock value. That's storytelling.
"Shock Value" would have been her getting Roman'd. Pyrrha's been hitting Death Flags since Volume One.
Killing someone off purely to further another character's development is literally what Stuffed into the Fridge is. Its pointless, its bad writing, its a waste of a great character, and its a genuine slap in the face towards the fans.

rwby is not going to be grimddark all the way through. There have to be lighthearted moments so the dramatic moments hit even harder
Cut off one head 2 more shall take it's place! Hail Hydra
