I got the feeling that Weiss' dad would probably basically put her on house arrest, and make her go to the Atlas academy with an escort at all times (said escort would be her "team").
Also, I've got the strangest feeling that if that's the case, one member would try super hard to be friends with Weiss and she's say "You're not my friend; you're my bodyguard. Make it past two weeks, I might learn your name; until then, you're cannon fodder.''

More fuel for my theory that Jaune is The Paladin.
As i said, Crocea Mors is maybe magical in nature. Maybe it has an special effect on Grimm?

Eyup. Caliburn was the Sword in the Stone, and was stolen/lost. Arthur got Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake.
In some versions of the story, Caliburn and Clarent (Mordred's sword used to kill Arthur) were one and the same.
Caliburn was Arthur's. It was his birthright. But I get what you're saying.

The short version is that the Arthurian mythos is weirdly complicated via constant fanfic-ing in the 15th or 16th century. And the French.
As for Weiss... if Penny was going to actually come back, and not be replaced, I'd hope that she gets involved with Weiss and they go off for magical Ruby finding adventures.
"I honestly don't know why your considering the fight with the Jazz solo that ended because a character triped on a rock a more serious than any fight previously. But ok "
Because they show their semblence, because they make trouble for Yang and Weiss and so one, it show they make effort into it while the other feel fillerish
"So do you think Wiz and Boomstick will cameo in RWBY? "
For some reason I imagine Yang enter a clandestine fight club, fighting with someone who looks a lot like tifa and lossing....yeah.
And so far I think we will meet Phyrra familiy, see they are nice people who like each other...and them the father or the mother would blame Jaune for her death.....oh more glorious suffering.
Instead of Excalibur, Jaune should get Laevateinn, which has two modes, a Flaming Sword, and a staff mode for Blowing Stuff Up, to make up for his lack of range.

Scarlet and sage are filler chararter and Ironwood is pretty much a BFG in form of a pistol....
But there is one theory in the wiki saying maybe Jaune is no so over the top because is a old weapon from the war, which make kind of sense.
On the other (cut) hand, Adam just have a regular sword and cut Yang by sheer brute force so who knows.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"In a world that has sniper scythes and Purse gatting gun's Its still pretty normal.Come to think of it.Monty created most of the 'out there' designs didn't he?Could mean we see more ordinary-ish- weapons.
As for Adam.I think his semblance helps with that.Seems like its a sort of charge attack.

Not surprise, the guy lived in rule of cool, than and being a complete workaholic
Also they said Adam brute force past Yang semblence, and is canon that you can harm someone without reducing their aura so is posible that Adam is just THAT good hiting her, I prefer that since it make him a more terrible foe to fight.

What do you think of how could they handle Weiss' situation in Atlas?
Would she be forced to stay in her home or would her father make her go to a school there? I don't know but i really want to see Atlas
