@Ninety So if Bumblebee becomes canon, Would you eat Qrow?
So, is the Time Travel shenanigans confirmed? Cause if it is then that could open interesting posibilities
Uni catYou know, I've been thinking about Roman's death, and as every has been saying, the idea that it proves that the Grimm are a credible threat is bullshit. So I thought I'd raise the question: how do you guys think the Grimm should have been shown as a legit threat?
How I would have done it? I'd have had the Grimm tide continually increase down in the city until Glynda's group has to retreat to higher ground. Some of the minor students try to buy the others some time (I know Cardin was the only student actually down there in the episode, but let's say in this scenario, his teammates are also there, with INGO and BRNZ as well). The others get the time they need to escape, but we see the defending students getting dogpiled, with the Grimm making motions similar to a predator eating struggling prey...

The problem with the grmm is they shot themselves in the foot with breach: that was the chaptet that prove Grimm could be a general threat and Cinder being build as something bigger if she can pull that out of it....instead it comes as general upsy happy ending where the Grimm where totally crup stomp like little red shirt they are And cinder look like a idiot for realing in them(and them as villian sue for succeding).
So how you do it? making the grimm scary, moving like a predator and showing the hunters strugling to beat them.....but of course that goes against the premise of the show of being pure awsome fights so that is what you get.
So in the end, the grimm are not threat because that goes against the show.

Well, look this end season and that is your answer: the grimm make thing go worst by being proxy of the real antagonist of the series: humans, even their leader is humanize grimm.
I dont want to sound to bad but...I kind of blame Monty of this, the setting look very dark(not surprise many here compared it to Atack on titan) but the focus are four little girls with Awsome weapons and awsome fights, that is why Breach should be the turing point in the series, to show that even with all the awsomeness build around protagonist things are not going to be that easy but they blew it and because of that Volumne 3 comes as suddenly mood whisplash.

is less that and more a simpler truth: beasts do not make good villians at all, at least not if there is some arc around.

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Hmm... if I had to point to a problem with the Grimm it's that they're too "Real". Like, you don't feel that Huntsmen and Huntswomen are particularly required to beat the Grimm.
I mean, sure it's possible that Grimm can only be hurt by aura, but the way they're presented, it seems more like you could get a force of tanks or something, and beat back a wave of Grimm without the requirement of schools training kids in overly elaborate weapons for four years.
We need to look at the "threatening" Grimm that have been showcased so far. The Nevermore and Deathstalker were worfed in V2 finale, the Goliath are only informed to be dangerous and Grimmwing is Dangerous (since he can spawn more Grimm from him) but was ultimately frozen by Ruby.
Soooooo, that's as threatening as they get. Maybe V4 will fix that?
