Not even gravity can stop the Qrow train
So, who do you think will be the Antagonist in Vol. 4? I suppose Emerald and Mercury?

@Faso: Probably still Cinder as the main antagoinst, though I have a feeling at least a few of the episodes will focus on what WBY are doing (maybe one each for episodes 3, 6, and 9). I also think we might see an Emerald focused episode if they're seriously going to build towards an eventual Heel–Face Turn, though if that happens, I hope she gets a golden opportunity to change sides in the volume finale and rejects it ala Zuko.

Please edit your posts rather than double-posting, especially since your posts are rather short.
@Capsase: That's what I think will happen as well. It would be a shame not to focus on WBY for the next Volume. Anyone know if there are plans to make it longer than 3?

I would personally have team RWBY (well, short of Yang, who would in my version have a Face–Heel Turn) reunite in the finale of volume 5.
Phil... you're posting a mile a minute... CALM DOWN and just edit stuff into your posts instead of making a post for each thought.

I think Mercury is gonna be a case of raised that way. Marcus being a professional assassin wanted to mold a perfect succesor... So Merc lacks most of Emerald implied redeeming qualities cause Marcus wanted Merc to be a cold blooded killer.
I guess Marcus got what he wanted when Merc killed him.
Praise be to the absolute Queen
He maybe intended to be an abusive asshole to Mercury. Marcus must be really proud of his boy.
Because i'm bored, let's review the kill count of the main baddies:
- Cinder: 2 (Amber and Pyrrha)
- Mercury: 2 (Marcus and Tukson)
- Emerald: 0.50 (Assist on Penny)

Uni catAnother thing I want to see in volume 4 more Qrow/Winter reactions. I can just imagine Winter being sent to retrieve Weiss but ending up joining the party. And then she and Qrow snark at each other and engage in arguments which always result in Qrow pushing Winter's buttons. But as the series progresses, they begin to develop grudging respect for each other which evolves into being very vitriolic friends and then to arguing like an old married couple. I just love relationships that are full of snark.

All I see I conquerSo after some thought, I've done my best to consolidate my ideas/things I'd like to see happen over the next few volumes.
Volume 4: The Fellowship of the Rose follows our heroes journey to Mistral and stuff happening there, which initially goes smoothly, but then starts going rather poorly. Every third episode up to 9 (3, 6, and 9) goes off to focus on other characters and what they're doing, and our heroes arrive at Haven in episode 8. They meet Pyrrha's family, and we feel sad, then dramatic stuff happens and maybe Cinder and co make an appearance. Haven turns out to be a late Byzantine Empire-esque kingdom; the crumbling shadow of a ghost of a once mighty Empire with nothing left to it but its prestigious name. It is ruled by a character with a purple color scheme inspired by Constantine XI, the last Roman Emperor, whose uncertain death during the fall of Constantinople inspired a "King in the Mountain" legend among Greeks. The Emperor of Mistral eventually becomes a major ally for our hero, despite the Imperial court looking at them with something ranging between scorn and outright hostility. Episode 3 focuses on Weiss and Blake, episode 6 focuses on Emerald, building up her potential to eventually defect from the villains, and episode 9 focuses on Yang. At the end of her episode, Yang makes some ominous discoveries about her mother and, desperate for answers, sets out to try and find her once more. During Blake's segment, she encounters SSSN, preparing to return to Haven, and is convinced to accompany them.
In the finale, an opportunity is presented for Emerald to take sides, but she hesitates, and remains one of the villains for the time being. During this volume we see the first hints of Lancaster appear, and the fandom explodes into an all out (shipping) war. Nobody important dies this volume, and Weiss's episode sees the triumphant return of Penny. Two of them in fact, as, after witnessing the death of the original Penny began work on a replacement, only for Ironwood and his forces to return with the dismembered remains of the original which are, without his knowledge, restored to working order by Atlas technicians. Both the original Penny and Penny 2 share memories going up to the day of the 1v1 final round, which naturally presents an interesting existential dilemma for both.
Volume 5: Focus for this volume is split between RNJR's adventures in Haven (Episodes 1, 3, 5-6, 9, and 10), Yang's search for her mother (Episodes 2, 4, 11), along with a two episode sub-arc (7-8) wherein Weiss ends up learning about what's going on in Mistral, and runs away, accompanied by the original Penny, Ciel, and a new character. The finale sees WPC(X) and SSSN+B meet up with team RNJR in Haven, and Emerald is presented with a second opportunity to defect. This time, she does the right thing, and because of her actions, Cinder's efforts in Haven are thwarted. This victory comes at great cost however, with SSSN being all but wiped out, leaving Neptune as the only survivor.
Ciel is also slain, and Weiss and Blake rejoin the main ensemble bringing it to a total of 6, her her traveling companions join forces with Neptune and Emerald to form a new secondary team. Also during the finale Yang finally finds her mother, only for it to turn out she's one of the villains. Raven extends an offer for Yang to join her promising Yang her life back, and, feeling hopeless and abandoned, she accepts, and we cut to credits. More lancaster hints happen, alongside Weiss x Neptune hints, and more Die for Our Ship fics are written.
Volume 6: Focus for this volume is on the main ensemble of RWB+JNR. Yang's defection is revealed to our heroes around the half way point, and she returns with a wicked Grimm claw in place of her missing arm. This is highly demoralizing, but Ruby and Blake vow to bring her back. This culminates in a scene where Blake attempts to talk Yang down, which seems to work...Only for Yang to lash out and disembowel her. Ruby enters the scene and, seeing Yang standing over a critically wounded Blake, goes ballistic, forcing Yang to retreat. Blake lives, but at this point, everyone except Ruby (and, because he trusts her, Jaune) thinks Yang is a lost cause. The finale sees Qrow slain by his own sister, and the destruction of Mistral, which is overrun by Grimm. When the walls are breached, the Emperor, knowing the end is at hand, casts aside his Imperial regalia, and enters the fray to die in battle like a common soldiers, which he does. With the fall of Mistral, our heroes along with swarms of refuges make their way to Vaccuo...
I don't intend to go beyond volume 6 because by that point so much will have changed that most/all of these forecasts/what I would do's are going to be unworkable, though I would eventually have Yang come back to the side of the good guys (non-fatally) near the end. I'm also assuming a 12 volume total run for the show, if it's longer/shorter, some of these ideas would need to be compressed/could be stretched out for better pacing.

On the whole "making Bumblebee canon is just fan-service" Monty said there would be am LGTBQ character, if there isn't one already. So the possibility of Bumblebee becoming canon is higher than you'd expect.
But yeah.
I think it was Qrow but how did he managed to carry her all the way to her home?
