Adam might find hundreds of Blake clones to be enjoyable, until he realizes: they had red dust added.
Me: Grimm. Everyone else: Blake.

Roman's power level is weird. He can hold his own against Blake and Sun together, loses to Gambol Shroud upgraded with Weiss's Dust cartridges, curbstomps barehanded Ruby (who also seems to have a very low threat level).
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.Given his rant at the end, I wondered if he was a failed Huntsman, or someone with Huntsman training who decided that Huntsmen have really shitty job prospects, work-life balance and mortality rates.
He definitely fights like someone who has at least some Aura combat training, and Qrow's adventure yarn to Yang and Ruby may have ended in a silly way, but it did mention the idea of corrupt Huntsmen.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Going by the Japanese dub, and it's choice for a narrator, Salem is played by Kikoe Inoue. Who is also the voice of I-No in Guilty Gear.
So in other words, this should be her theme.
That only means the show mercifully doesn't operate in the bullshit concept of "power levels". Roman is an incredibly competent fighter, that is more than clear, maybe even better than any of the main girls. But he can be cough by surprise and taken down. Blake blatantly only won because Roman wasn't expecting her new dust abilities and she was quick enough to capitalize on his surprise.
Now I think about it, Roman's main flaw might be he is easily distracted/surprised. That is how his only two losses went. Guess trash talking that much on combat is not a good idea.

It's Kikuko. And she's also the voice of The Boss, Rosemary, and Sunny.
Would that be considered an Ass Pull? That dust thingy was the only time Blake was awesome
But then Vol. 3 came and throw blake into offscreen land for a while

It is not an Ass Pull because not only dust cartridge were already an established feature of the setting but we were also shown Weiss giving Blake them

To be fair, it is not like she had much opportunity. Her only important fight this season was off screen.
I think Ruby is the character i like the most of the main cast. That's why i'm really bummed that the main character hadn't had that much focus in a show NAMED AFTER HER.
Oh well, hope that vol. 4 fixes this problem (INB4 Vol. 4 is purely Jaune focus. People love Jaune's Screentime)
Uni catThe issue with Roman is that he as beated like bitch by blake in a very short fight, really the whole thing last 55 second, that kill any dramatic build off to their fight in second season.
Funny thing about this is that Weiss is the one with worst record so far: she lost to not-leatherface in pretty "lol, what?" kind of way and her fight against FINK was pathetic, yes she gain a sumon but even them....

Honestly, I like Jaune as a character. He's the everyman of the cast, and there's a certain appeal to that. He's also probably going to get some development next season in addition to the other members of RNJR, which is nice, though as long as Lancaster remains on the table, he's going to get a fair amount of Die for Our Ship.

Next time watch as Weiss is effortlessly defeated by a big Beowulf
Though to her credit, Banesaw is The Dragon of Adam, and you know the latter left Yang in a really fucked up state
But her fight with FNKI ended with a really Stupid Sacrifice. She could just, i don't know, push him.

I also like Jaune, never understood why people hate him so much. I will say that Jaunedice got very boring after the third episode though

Uni cat
People really don't hate him that much; in fact, Arkos was definitely one of the more popular ships...
Now that he may very well be poised to be standing in the way of White Rose however...

I think trying to rate power levels in RWBY Is going to be very hard, due to Rule of Cool, Worf Barrage, Conservation of Ninjutsu, and many other tropes. Giant Nevermores went from needing an entire team to dispatch, to only needing Coco, to taking several rocket lockers and students, to possibly Ruby's foot. It's very hard to figure out power levels when the power fluctuates so damn much.

Yeah, Salem could be the fairy greatmother of Cinder, Once upon a time already cross somestories with other, this series could do that to in order to avoid creating EVEN more chararters
