Yeah I think Weiss getting with Jaune after everything would send the wrong message. He crushed on her for all the wrong reasons and made himself looking rather dumb after all that.
Ruby could work. Ruby would be something different. Similar to Pyrha Ruby bonded with him and saw past his wimpy exterior to befriend him almost right away, although Ruby didn't crush on him like she did and unlike Pyrha who was drawn to him because he didn't see her as just an unreachable famous person, Ruby is just nice enough not to judge and likes everyone, but still it's a healthy development.
So hey, regarding Penny potentially coming back, I have an idea that would, in my opinion, do a great deal to avoid cheapening her death; people have speculated about a new Penny being built with none of the original's memories, which has the same Fridge Horror aspects that my idea incorporates, but doesn't make them very apparent to someone whose never heard of things like the Swamp Man thought experiment and what not.
So instead of being rebuilt with no memories, Penny is rebuilt from scratch with memories going up the morning before her fight with Pyrrha. Things seem normal enough...Until the remains of the original Penny come in, and the Atlas technicians come to the conclusion that the original can be restored to working order as well. With or without Doctor Polendina's knowledge, they do just that, and suddenly we have two copies of Penny with no ontological relationship to one another, with virtually identical memories.
To add to that, it turns out Penny is indeed a Replacement Goldfish for Doctor Polendina's Littlest Cancer Patient of a daughter. Nothing says "Oh God I'm not real" like being one of multiple simultaneously extant digital copies of a dead person.

and that is what is going to happen, after all without Blake,Yang and Weiss, Ruby will have chararter devolptment, since people are forgetting she is the main hero
I still mantain, she is a project related to the maidens that dr have to build in order to get he funds, think about it "You have your daughter back, I have my anti-maiden weapon" because othewise she is just the robot-chick.

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"That is very dismissive of everyone who started shipping them after watching the show, though. I mean, the vast majority of the current fandom probably wasn't even around back then. I find impossibly silly this insistence that the ships are invalid just because people were shipping it before the show started. It have been 3 years.
So you think it is probably Penny will come back?

It's one of the reasons. Abundance of OOC in fanworks, copious amounts of Die for Our Ship and not really seeing much chemistry are others.
And yes, pretty likely. What I'd said was that, unlike Pyrrha and Torchwick, Penny doesn't feel like she's fulfilled her purpose. Pyrrha was a Sacrificial Lion, Torchwick was a Starter Villain, but Penny hasn't done anything, and I don't believe she was just offed to increase the "shit just got real" rating (even if she kicked it off). Furthermore, we've seen nothing to indicate any sort of human resurrection is possible — but Penny's a robot, her "father" was briefly shown, and Aura transfer is a thing that can be done, and by Atlas no less. I wouldn't put my hands on the flame, but I'm confident that Penny will be back in some capacity — and that she won't just be "Penny, good as new!". Memory loss, chassis change, Restraining Bolt, something will change.
Pretty much yeah. Penny seemed like the Sacrificial Lion, but Pyrrha overshadowed that completely (which may have been intentional, in the "well poor Penny but at least that means nobody else will...damn it!" way). Her death really accomplished nothing. Her partner had like 3 lines and that was it. Her creator was only just introduced in that death scene. Penny barely did anything, had little explained about her, and unlike Pyrrha and Roman, (before they said they weren't gonna confirm or deny any deaths) they never said she was definitely dead.
However I don't know about having two Penny's. That sounds like it could be confusing. Just have one new Penny could cause enough development in that while Penny never really thought much of her robotness prior to her destruction now it's made crystal clear to herself that she's abnormal. IE. "Am I really real? Am I still Penny? Was I ever real? Pyrrha died too and she can't be rebuilt. Is it fair that I get to come back while Pyrrha doesn't?"
The first two is just a byproduct of any popular shipping. If it bothers you, you should avoid these part of the fandom (personally, I don't seek artwork even for the ships I support).
As for the later, it is subjective, and although I would concede they didn't have much of chemistry, specially early on, I would argue it is the best these characters havenote . True, that is because the show didn't focus on romance at all (Arkos aside) but shippers, being shippers, will ship something, and White Rose and Bumblebee are some of the most natural, and non conflicting, pairings for the main characters.
As for Penny, I kinda agree with you. However, she is my favorite character, so I am trying to not create too much expectations.

Having two is, in my opinion, the best way to demonstrate to a layperson audience the Fridge Horror existential questions that such a resurrection raises, and it also makes it inescapable for Penny. Both of them. Subsequently Divergent Character Evolution would probably occur, and I could even see one of them being totally unable to cope with the reality of their situation, particularly if only one of the copies gets treated like an actual person (rather than just, you know, a copy of an actual person). This could lead to a situation where Penny 2 turns on our heroes, jealous and resentful of her copy.
Basically, digital Cloning Blues.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure why or what you're arguing here. I just stated the reasons I don't like the ship, both in-universe and in-fandom (which is where it actually exists). The parts of the fandom that I'd have to avoid in order not to find those is most of them, which is why I have a problem with it in the first place.

Fair enough. It is just I've recently binged this thread and I've seem some people here being unreasonable angry against the ship and its shippers while spewing bullshit "arguments" (like saying it only exist because Het Is Ew, ignoring two of the most popular ships are het). It was such a common thing to read it was frustrating to not be able to argue back all that time, so I guess I jumped the gun for no reason here. I am sorry.
@Unknowing The only link to Pyrrha's soul might be Jaune when she activated his aura she might have used her soul to do it or some shit. If he doesn't want to be inside her then she will be inside him
Or maybe i will check Asgore's basement just in case ![]()

Uni catWe don't know how souls work and Pyrha was killed magically. They could make up some way that a soul based on hers was somehow made into a robot. In that way Pyrha is still "around" and her VA isn't out of a job, but at the same time the flesh and blood version is still dead, with all the angst thereof and plus Robo-Pyrha feeling like a fake.
Maybe. I dunno, but I feel like Cinder magic vaporizing her makes it seem even more likely of a return of some kind be it Grim slave or robot than if she just shot her with 20 more arrows and she bled out and they buried her.

Pyrrha might also be in Ruby. And Cinder. And anyone standing downwind of Beacon when she died...
I'm a terrible person.

Robo-Pyrrha. Same person, different character
But seriously, until we learn the origins of Penny, then we can speculate how Robo-Pyrrha can come to reality

Uni cat

Robo-Pyrrha will appear... In the vein of Robo Ky. Meaning that she's a perverted, clumsy, foul mouthed slob that is also a delusional psychopath. Her theme song is a warped, off key instrumental version of one of her image songs.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...
