Honestly, I'm starting to think less "Yang goes full evil and dies redeeming herself", and more an actual fall and redemption arc that doesn't end with Redemption Equals Death.
I honestly don't seem any members of the cast undergoing a Heel–Face Turn because the villains are fucking insane.
Seriously, unless someone amongst the main cast is secretly a Straw Nihilist, I don't see any Heel Face Turning.
Yang might start on a path towards darkness, consumed by revenge and anger, but then notices the Moral Event Horizon, and realizes if she continues, she won't be any different than those she's fighting.
Her semblance seems to be partially triggered by her anger, after all.

I don't know about that; there's a lot of foreshadowing in the lyrics to suggest Ozpin will become a Broken Pedestal, so I'm kinda wondering if they're building up the villains to appear extremely sinister, only for the reality to be far more complicated.
Ie with Cinder, some people think it looks like tears are forming in her eyes when she answer's Pyrrha's question, and her tone is certainly more serious than her previous bravado. I could absolutely see her motivation being something like Doctor Breen from Half Life mixed with You Can't Fight Fate, who saw serving the invading Combine as the only alternative to the total extinction of the human race.

No one in the main cast i will join the bad guys.
The worst that can happen is if someone, say Yang, decides to become a Lone Wolf and not get involved with her old pals anymore until she gets a change of heart as the plot goes on.
Seriously, no more Sasukes. We already got one aspect of him in the form of Mercury (Or Douche McJerkass)

Yeah, the Obviously Evil Cinder and Salem are totally complex characters. But their complexity is all how evil they are.
Ozpin's potential Broken Pedestal status might stem from the secrecy of everything. Because, as we all know, too many secrets lead to issues.
That and secrets kept are weapons wasted.
Well... yeah. Emerald seems to hint that she regrets/didn't realize what Cinder's plan is, and Neo's loyalty was to Torchwick, not Cinder.
Oh god.... What if after Ruby beats Neo, it's revealed she can speak. And she's voiced by Jen Brown

Neo becomes friends with Ruby after being beaten by her due to believing Ruby killed Roman.
And then they'll go and paint their nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys.

Didn't Neo mutter a sound when she was sent flying?

Uni cat@BlackSunNocture: I admit, it definitely looks like they're one dimensional Card Carrying Villains, but plenty of people had concluded the show was never going to get dark before season 3 despite the foreshadowing in the lyrics, and the foreshadowing definitely suggests Ozpin is needlessly sending people to their deaths to fix his mistakes/cover up his shame; I wouldn't put it past the writers to subvert Obviously Evil; I'm not saying to the point where it turns out "oh the villains were doing what they were doing because otherwise the world ends lolololol", more that the circumstances which lead to the villains being what they are will turn out to be a lot more tragic (and mostly Ozpin's fault) than they might seem.

You mean the song that's from the villain's perspective? That foreshadowing?
Seriously, the only villain right now that's not a Card-Carrying Villain is Emerald. She showed potential regret. Mercury is a Sadistic Jerkass and Cinder's tap-danced across the Moral Event Horizon.
Emerald kills him by dropping him into a lava pit?

Salem. She has a very evil looking face, she lives in Mordor, and her subordinate disintegrated a 17-year-old girl. She's obviously a well-intentioned extremist.
Isn't he all ready a cyborg?

That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying that it seems likely to me that there's a more complex story than "lolevil" behind the villains, and that based on the lyrics, it's very possibly Ozpin's fault (particularly if the theory that Salem is the original Winter Maiden and Ozpin the wizard turns out to be true), hence Broken Pedestal, and it's up to our heroes to fix his mistakes.

The only thing she might have as Sympathetic is if she is revealed to be the original Winter Maiden and she wants to get back at Ozpin for her fate and the death of her sisters
But her methods and allies are clearly very VERY evil
Maybe ozpin is the Broken Pedestal for Salem? Never thought of that one?

While depression might make an individual more likely to turn over the dark side... Yang is probably not going to be joining Cinder. Or Salem. Cinder caused the scenario that made Yang the way she is, and Salem is... Obviously Evil looking. I'm sure Yang will turn out like most handicapped badass protagonists, you know, GOOD. Maybe a little angsty and out for revenge, though.
