Which is why people are predicting a Face–Heel Turn, which may or may not be temporary.
Remember what Qrow says about Raven:
"Raven's got an interesting way of looking at the world that I don't particularly agree with. And she's dangerous."
That doesn't mean evil, it just means he doesn't agree with her world view. So she could very easily be a very cynical person who believes no matter what we do, it all amounts to nothing, but we should try anyway. IE: an actual nihilist.
What? Her trailer is explicitly set before Season 2.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyEdit: Blake'd. Junior wanted to know why Yang was back in Volume 2 after trashing him, his guys, and the club in her trailer.
I've got a feeling Ruby left a message for her dad to give to Yang in her note, like, 'let Yang know she can join up with us when she's feeling better.'

Yang's trailer is set before Volume 1. And I believe the "Yang. We've got a lot to talk about" scene I'm betting was a dream sequence because it didn't look normal. Plus, Raven doesn't look like how she does in the picture in it.
Yang might have realized that Raven was the one who saved her because she woke up right as Raven was exiting, and saw her in the picture Qrow showed.
"Oh, and P.S. Yang can join us when she's feeling better and not all yangsty and yangry."
Leading to Taiyang sighing and going "Damn it, not a third one" (because I seriously believe Summer's the one where Yang picked up being a Pungeon Master from)

That wouldn't really mesh well with Ruby's Sarcasm-Blind / Literal-Minded tendencies, though I'm sure Barbara would appreciate the effort.
I just realized your avatar is Penny with Pyrrha's hairstyle wearing Roman's bowler.

Weiss may not have had a choice, but that's probably not what Yang is upset about. She was never as close to her as she was to the other two.
But Blake left her in what Yang's eyes seems to be because when the going gets bad, Blake runs away friends and family be damned (She does'nt know Adam swore to kill all her friends and Blake want's to be alone so they're safe, she wasn't there to hear him say that). And Ruby also leaves, filling in the missing team with the rest of JNR just as quickly, seemingly showing that fighting the good fight is the most important thing to her and she doesn't need Yang for that.
Add in her mother leaving, and she's gonna be in a dark place for awhile.
